  • How much power can I increase on my engine? In this video, I am going to show you simple steps to achieve your Horsepower Target! =D
    Originally 2JZ GTE can produce about 276 horsepower from Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) and Engine power in the North American and European markets, as documented by Toyota, was increased to 325 PS (239 kW; 321 hp) at 5600 rpm. While 2JZ GE can produce 215-230 PS (158-169 kW; 212-227 bhp) at 5800 to 6000 rpm.

      450-500HP, Single Turbo Driftmotion 6262, FMIC 3", ID1050x Injectors w/Top feed fuel rail, Tial BOV and 50mm Driftmotion HKS Style wastegate that is tested and proven to work, 10 Micron Stainless Steel Radium Fuel Filter, Aeromotive 1000 FPR. These are the parts I have so far to go into my Project for 2020 God Willing 🙏. Plan to also have the ECU Master Black ECU to power it all. 3" exhaust. 2JZ-GTE Aristo Engine to be swapped into my MK4 2JZ-GE chassis
      Also have ACL Bearings with a new thrust washer just incase I open up the bottom end.
      Do you think I need to get ARP Rod bolts if i do install the ACL Bearings? Or will the stock Rod bolts hold the power safely .. whats your thoughts

    I have a 2jz GE NA-T in my 1992 Lexus SC400 with the following I've reached 470-500 hp on a budget around 3k very happy with my setup. Any advice and tips are appreciated!
    -GT35R turbo
    -GTE Headgasket
    -GTE internals
    -Stock GE head and block
    -ARP Studs
    -Walbro 255
    -650cc injectors
    -Used AEM V1 standalone ecu
    -10 an oil return, 4 an oil feed, 6 an water lines for turbo
    -Ebay FF Intake tubular manifold
    -Ebay DP and dump tube
    -CX Racing intercooler kit
    -HKS BOV
    -AEM wideband
    -Boost gauge
    -Fuel cut defender
    -Hallman manual boost controller

      @@cheapkailaujing very good results I forgot to mention the transmission I am running a AR5 transmission with a upgraded clutch kit at first I was confused but my buddy has past experience with a GE build I asked him to help me and I had success I bought the 1992 sc400 for 700 no engine or transmission

    Thanks for your advice. Car #1 Mk3 supra fully built 2jzgte Rsp rs1600pkg, head games port, Kelford cams, 🆔 injectors, dual fuel pumps, Boost logic T6 manifold w/s369 Turbo, 5" intercooler, Phr upgraded oil pump, all custom piping and jet coatings. Grannis racing T56 coming next. Infinity 6 and tune scheduled soon. Built it for a really cool street car/but not a daily. Just one of my pride and joys. Completely restored. My goal is 1k HP.

      WOW cool! yeah my next target is 1k hp but right now i m working hard with my funds. in a country with weak currency, we gotta work hard (about 3 to 4 times harder or smarter) in order to get the same amount of money for parts, so that's why I appreciate any support from all friends around the world. But can I ask which kelford cams u are using? BW S369 should be able to get 1k hp? all are great parts!! please let me know ur progress too

    Nice build man and thx for the info. I have a question about AC compressor (when u go 500 hp will oem one work normally or u have to buy special AC compressor?)

      oh it is a good question, i believe for all modded engines, as long as u want to have "spirited driving" u turn off the air cond compressor. because not just the power will drop, but most importantly is to save the AC Comp from being destroyed haha =)

    Great videos! I have a Lexus GS300 with a 2JZ-GE and an auto gearbox. Would like about 400 horsepower at the wheels. Should I just get a GTE head? Or keep the GE head and do a NA Turbo conversion?

      well it depends whether u can source GE exhaust manifold, intake manifold, fuel rail. if yes, then go ahead and add ecu plus injectors. =D

    I want to get a 2jz GE non vvti engine and put a 2jz GTE head on it. What kind of hardware do I need to get to make this into a 500+hp car?

      Oh I am using a super small turbo TD04 with 0.86 rear housing, so it is quite responsive, but limited hp =)

      Hmm have to use emanage to either change the inputs for the original ecu or use standalone ecu

    Hey Michael I live in the U.S.A can a 2jzge make 500 hp. GTE engines or gte head, intake, exhaust are very expensive. Very good information thank you.

      sorry, cannot, because 2jz GE stock internals are weak. however if u changed the internals to 2nd hand gte pistons oil pump and con rods, and use a turbo, injectors and ecu, should be fine =)

    Hi Michael are you using only exhaust Camshaft from GE engine ? Or are you using both Camshaft intake and exhaust from 2JZGE to 2JZGTE head?

    What is the reason behind putting the blow off valve close to the throttle body

    Hey Mike the ge engine is interference and the gte is non interference, is this due to the thickness of the headgasket? If so what problems will it cause if i fit a gte headgasket to the ge.

      Good question. When u fit a thick head gasket, the compression will be lower. No problem in fitting but power will be lower if u r still running NA. But low compression is good for running turbo :)

    I heard you can mate the 2jzge lower to the 2jzgte upper intake manifold. Can you maybe do a video about how to do that? I heard it took some grinding to make the runners line up good.

      Hmm not only the air intake holes do not match, but also the bolt holes do not line up at all.. Sorry I don't know how to mate them together, unless u r saying welding lol..

      for now i m just using pump gas and bosch injectors 850cc... around 60% duty cycle so still can go forward with more boost

      @@toughmaniac yes i m using aftermarket fuel pressure regulator, and fuel system u cannot save money on cheap stuffs. must go for high quality stuffs. bosch injectors depends on ur country, gotta check with local suppliers.. last time i think i bought very expensive but at least i am sure it is genuine bosch =)

      Oh hmm about 0.63 A/R rear housing, 1.5 bar max but 4k rpm already quite good horsepower :)

    So for a non vvti all the internals are the same as the gte minus the oil pump correct? So a thicker head gasket should be fine?

      As long as it is gte, pistons con rod oil pumps and head gasket are the same.

    Im putting together my celica xx ga61 with 2jzge non vvti ex sc300, my plan is to get it running with the factory ecu and then make a desision to go either ITBs or a mild +T setup, even if i made upto 300bhp i would be happy with that as by having a turbo it helps to recycle the power.
    ps what gearbox are you running?

      i m using a 2jz 6 speed gb, it is rumoured to be very strong and can support up to 1k hp so i won't be headache about it. 300bhp would be a breeze =)

      @@cheapkailaujing well yes 1000hp capable but also getrag will hellp support top speed, but sounds like youll run out of road where you are!
      300hp on stock ge internals would be ok right?

    what is doable to get out of NA 2jz ge engine ? im just curious. im building a road cruiser and if i can get 380-400 without turbo id be more than happy with it, is it doable in anyway ?

      Hmm I have not try but I don't think so.. The injectors are definitely not enough, and the air coming in is not enough as turbo it.. In my opinion only..

      i m using 97 octane fuel. u can use 95 too, provided u have done proper tuning on it using 95

      Yeah of course, unless gte is super expensive, or u wanna go immediately to forged internals
