All the tracks the core F1 fans like will stay. And by core fans, I mean the ultra rich that go to races to show their wealth. This means that America will get more races, that Monaco will stay and that the Middle East will be booming. Because that's where the people with money are, or rather, the people F1 sees as their core fans.
It's evident when you watch the races. There are needless camera zooms on random celebs, celebs get invited to the paddock for no reason, and the F1 parties are all but inaccesible to the public. China, Saudi, UAE are some of the most perplexing locations out there, so no wonder why the hate there. But if people are just being objective about it, Jeddah is not that bad in terms of track, and Yas Marina quite improved with its new layout. 2 parts to this comment:
    1. There sbould be a list of what circuits F1 fans want back on the calendar *cough* Malaysia
    2. I like the variety of the calendar. We have a wide range of versions of cjrcuits, from 3 km Monaco to 7 km Spa. A 23 race calendar must have a variety as wide as that. So Monaco and Spa stay forever.
On a side note: I live in Abu Dhabi. I've always been a fan since way before they first raced here. However I would love if it stayed for a very long time because in the 13 years f1 raced here F1 has gained a lot of fans who had no idea what F1 is before racing started here back in 2009. It was a slow process but now practically the whole country wants to go to a race. I definitely agree it shouldn't be the last race of the season. That belongs to either Brazil or Suzuka.

Or they live their lives acknowledging that it's an iconic track and is probably one of the first things non-F1 fans think about when you mention the word "F1" to them. Not to mention that qualifying is spectacular. It's a true driver's circuit, and I'm happy that there's that variety on the calendar.

I think keeping Monaco goes further than just being iconic. Having tracks at the extremes of set up like Monaco and Monza make the engineers jobs harder to design a competitive car at both levels. And shakes up the grid order from the norm. Cars that struggle at Monza can quite often be more competitive at Monaco and vice versa.
If every track was the same then the same team would be quicker everywhere.

I would get rid of Monaco right this second; no questions. I wouldn't even vote on it. It's a horrific circuit for modern racing.
If we're going to keep things because they're historic, maybe we should bring back the plague, or other terrible things. "Was good", is not "still good". "Thrilling qualifying", is not "great for the championship battle".
The sport should not make exceptions for Monaco; it should just get rid of it.
