    3:12 Inoue is referring to the Cremasteric reflex. The testicles can be lifted up as a reflex when the inside of the thigh is stroked. The relevant anatomy is that the reflex uses nerves from the upper lumbar spinal cord (L1, L2), but also that the sensation has to travel to the brain and back. It is not often used by doctors though, as there are better reflexes to test for.

      @waynemanna1402 Před 2 lety +4

      I agree. He was very good in UK Formula Ford and in F3 he easily had the wood on James Hunt. Hunt was very, very complimentary about Walker in his biography - he was mystified that a guy who was not just good, but dominant in F3, came across as hopeless in F1. I don't think it is fair, or very knowledgeable, to include Walker with a bunch of drivers who were totally out of their depth in F1. I also think Lance Stroll is, whilst not top drawer, still reasonable and on his day can do a good job. Yes, it's "Dad's money" that got him into F1, but he is a consistently respectable qualifier - unlike Mazepin.

      @@ryannurse2890 Forti and Simtek had the same fate. First year with old design, but money. Second year, new car, promising design but no money and pulling out.
      The 94 Simtek was quite similar to the S921 that Andrea Moda used, which was an unbuilt BMW design that Simtek did for BMW. (Which goes to show what that car could've done in 92, if run by a team slightly competent). Regardless it was a dated design that Simtek entered F1 with.
      Forti's 95 car was pretty much a slight evolution of the 92 Fondmetal, a car that was a backmarker back then. Also the last F1 car to feature a traditional manual gearbox with a stick-shifter. The FG03, even though it DNQ'd in two races, were said to be a solid upgrade. But by the time it arrived, the team was virtually bankrupt and the cars were never tested, just showed up at races, still, Luca Badoer managed to outqualify a certain Ricardo Rosset once.

      I used to drive a truck for Coca Cola and one Monday my truck was stolen by a homeless person, we got it back that evening
      Tuesday I drove over the front of a Mercedes in the rain
      (that does sound very F1)
      I was only fired AFTER I’d broken my foot while counting the truck’s inventory a month later.
      True story.

His opponents criticized him of being so slow it is dangerous, even Hungarian (his home country) commentators mocked him, and his only championship point is a result of the 2004 US Grand Prix boycott, where Michelin tired cars didn't line up for the start, so only 8 cars raced, and he got a point for finishing last.

    As a kid, I had a friend that would invent his own language, making him rather difficult to understand. One word was instantly recognizable & easily understood however, it was his way of saying terrible/bad/awful/FUBAR/shit/failure etc:
    "Nakajima", after Satoru Nakajima. (80 entries, 74 starts, zero wins/podiums/poles & just 16 points.)
    Context: So when I went over the handlebars of my bike, face planting into the ice cream I was eating at the time, I heard the words "OMG, what a f**king Nakajima" before I heard someone else asking "Jeez, are you okay mate?" :-)
