      I'm laughing my ass off because your comment flashed me back to when Gallis would literally beat anything smaller than them to death in Legacy for the fun of it. You picked a bad day to play Dryo if a Galli spotted you lol.

    God, one of my favorite dinosaurs. I was once nested as one in a community server and lost both my parents to rex attacks. I was barely near sub-adult when on my own but was lucky to be adopted in a herd of trikes, dibbles and an anky. I grew to full size, started nesting myself and became the ancestor of numerous generations of shants, not losing that dinosaur for months, being online every day for 2 or 3 hours. Those were good times. And that's what I wish to have again in Evrima. A very hard to grow herbivore if the circumstances are against you but very rewarding if you really make it to adulthood.

      And yes, the shant-ancestor still exists on that very server it was once nested.

    I really like this shant concept art more than the spino since we get to see it's behaviors and life other than just fighting like the spino concept art.
    Hope they keep that up in following concept art because fighting is cool and all but other concepts showing how it lives its life and eat as well as its behavior is very important in the concept art.
    Since shant is fucking ginormous as shown in the concept art I can't wait to see it in game but with human pov as it'll make it a very great experience. Seeing stegos in human pov already makes stego look way too fucking big in our perspective so seeing something bigger than stego would surely be majestic as hell in human perspective.

  • @splunky5156
    @splunky5156 Před 2 lety +23

    I just see the tackle and stomp as a Shant using an attack combo similar to a Teno tail slaming then kicking during the stun, or just art but it's always fun to theorize.

  • @gajspalt
    @gajspalt Před 2 lety +13

    So from the concept art, Shant will mostly have a tackle attack, where it's weight will determine who it can knock over, the stomp and the backleg kick.

  • @carmandirda
    @carmandirda Před 2 lety +9

    I'm pretty sure the galli on the right is holding an egg. I also wonder if the diets will mean more competition with other herbivores. Shant will need more food, so anyone who shares needs may be in for some trouble if they move in.

  • @Bruh66863
    @Bruh66863 Před 2 lety +10

    I think shants will have a new body slam attack using his weight to crush other dinos and that they would be aggressive to all dinosaurs including their own species but they are able to mix pack with tenos with it being the leader and one shant per teno herd.

  • @aydemsadventure3752
    @aydemsadventure3752 Před 2 lety +8

    I wouldn't say that because the Concept shows Gallis getting kicked, it would necessary mean that Gallis will target Shant eggs specificaly. I'd rather speculate that it is meant to show some territorial behaviour amongst the spieces and that they really are large and strong animals.

  • @ninal1259
    @ninal1259 Před 2 lety +4

    What i think is that the shant will have a moose like game play. And the reason is being a big herbie it wouldnt need help and is strong enough to defend its self and will even be aggressive with other shants and herbies. But thats what I think.

    Probably the best looking design in the art by the looks of things. The protruding spines that are actually the scoots that run down hadrosaur backs is a nice way of making a dinosaur look cool but not inaccurate. Im hoping its a beast like it used to be and deck any apex lol.

      Honestly, this is going to be really important in the future. If you want an island to feel populated with dinosaurs you need to actually have dinosaurs on the map. I love the ptera and I want to see the coastal cliffs filled with them but how many people want to play as it?
      Not enough, at least not enough at the cost of other player who want to play other animals in the same server. So, the answer is AI here, and I would love to see it. Maybe even make its different game mode?

      It's sadly not public. They selected a few people who can stress test, so that they have better server performance, due to there not being like 600 people trying to log in at the same time and also to have clearer answers I think.

      Shant is the apex of the hadrosaurs. Like how trike is apex for ceratopsians or Stego is "apex" to stegosaurids. They're bigger slower stronger counterparts that take longer to grow.
