This is the only coach in the world who can actually reproduce almost anything the singer she is analyzing does... from Dimash to Diana Ankudinova.

@@kenchawkin4379 Interesting question. Just goes to show "different strokes for different folks". I think Angelina is amazing and unbelievably talented, but to me, no one can top Dimash for "soul touching", in addition to taking me places I've never been. I find him brilliant!
@@kenchawkin4379 everytime! AJ is great but i've yet to find a singer whose artistry is close to Dimash in the present time. He not only adds to the music toolbox but breaks with the conventions of vocal
pedagogy.
He is totally congruent. There is no separation between his mind and body thus what he thinks and feels is instantly and effortlessly manifested in the way his body moves - and grooves.
Dimash is truly a gift to all of you us from God.
For me, the best versatile artist is Loic Nottet : singer, songwriter, composer, choreographer, dancer, costumes designer, actor in his musical short film. Of course, he has not the voice of Dimash but his creativity is amazing...

I love how behind the light hearted girly attitude and (positively!) silly editing, there is pinpoint accurate analysis and reproduction. You really know what you are doing!
Loved this analysis. It was the best so far of all the coaches reviewing Stranger. Dimash is a total vocal beast from beyond.

Full props to Igor Krutoy. He's probably the only composer alive today who can write songs that fully appreciate Dimash's vocal capabilities.

Igor: I write, he sings.
Probably is a good word. Igor Krutoy is really cool but, imho, it would be unreasonable to limit Dimash's opportunities to one composer only. There are plenty of high-level composers around the world, and Dimash, and all of us, would ultimately benefit from his cooperation with them. And those composers would also get a great chance working with Dimash.
Dimash, with his new enhanced bass register, is now his own acapella group. All he lacks is a beat box component. But I assume that's coming, too. Extraordinary.
Piano guy wrote this song, and a lot of Dimashes popular songs. His name is Igor Krutoy, very famous composer, the father of Russian pop music))
P. S. He came back from retirement, specialy to work with Dimash, after he heard his voice)

You're my favorite reactor to Dimash. You have to react to "Ave Maria". It's a vocalise and not at all what you would expect, but incredible and is truly the voice of an angel.
I hope she doesn't. His Ave Maria is the worst I've heard. Afaic, he paid no respect to the original song. Disappointing. If I hadn't read the title, I would have had no idea that was what I was listening to. :-/
@@spartanical there are not only one Ave Maria. Different Ave Marias has been composed by Mendelssohn, Verdi, Liszt, Bach, and many more. But Shubert is the most known. This one is composed by Igor Krutoy. Igor has composed a numerous of classical pieces, not only pop and crossovers.

You should also check out Jess the Opera Singer! (Soprano Notes I think is her official channel name..) She also reacts to Dimash, Lara Fabian, etc. and gives suuuuper technical breakdown and information as well. I love both these ladies!

@@jorgesilva7074 for a soprano she is pretty rich in her lower notes. She also show cased in her diana analyses that she is pretty comfortable down there with nice agility. Of course not deep as a male baritone but I feel like she could tackle the second octave.

I absolutely love your piece by piece analysis. You mention things l've not noticed or didn't know. I am aware of positioning of mouth, larynx, and body, such as power stance, bending knees etc., however just as DIMASH takes his vocals to another level, l feel your reactions are on another level also. With beautiful chords from the “KOBYZ” (a two-string Kazakh instrument), Dimash give us a high level of mastery and perfection of his voice. @@mjlttown I am sorry but I can not appreciate the amazing range and vocals Diana has on a song where she sings just this one sentence over and over. Not one of her good performances
@@cedrikpeter4908 On the contrary for me, it's the fact that she takes one sentence and applies her vocal texture, color, range, and passion to transform it into a unique and beautiful song. There are countless examples of songs comprised of dozens of sentences/100's of words which sounds like garbage. It's not the quantity of prose that goes into it, it's the quality of the final product (for me).
@@mjlttown I can respect that view but the song in question doesn't have many words or sentences thus keeping out the other half to me is like breaking something whole in half. I do not argue with the fact that she has an amazing voice but stand to doubt that it I a great or even valid cover. The half used only only begs a question whereas the other gives a poetic reasoning and answer that in my eyes is essential. She leaves out the dedication and the willingness to devote oneself completely to someone else and not just asking asking if said problem is a Sin.I do not won't to imply her having a bad voice just that a song like this should be kept unchanged lyrically. There are plenty of Remixes out there that are unique and even good. But those keep the lyrics and change either Beat or tempo. We live in a time now where good music is hard to find and I therefore find it a tad sacrilegious to have to cut a classic and legendary song such as this one. I hope I do not offend you with my Opinion and wish you a great day

Gosh girl I’m still praying for the day u go down the rabbit hole & I’ve got a couple dozen more of these Dimash reaction/analysis! He really has so many masterpieces & you are the most delightful & educational of any I’ve seen. If you want to see more of that laryngeal play- PLEASE watch his Vocalise (know) at his Arnau concert. It’s such a pleasure to watch. Know at New wave 2019- has lyrics, same melody but totally different vibe & spectacular. Also you may love the duo of Autumn Strong performances- one at Arnau (he’s in a red suit)- the camera work, performance & audio are just 👌 & what he does at the end takes my breath away. Then I’ve only just discovered a performance from London (dunno if there’s official but there’s good fancams)- there’s a loooong Vocalise he does before the song that is really its own thing, the melismas & his improvisations.. just blew me away like nothing I’d EVER seen before.
Ps these aren’t the standard or most popular requests outside the Arnau Know Vocalise, but these are ones I know your specific ears will gasm completely as mine did. So bummed your camera cut off- I for 1 would watch a 90min breakdown by you, these are great how u put them together. You deserve to be a much bigger channel though & on 1 hand I’m not sure there’s incentive on extra work for long videos less people watch unfortunately. Just know I thank you for your actual substantive content among a sea of junk food 🙏👍

Edited to add: Dimash just recently released a new version of “Stranger,” performed for the Shine! competition in China. It’s shorter than this version but he introduced new elements into it - unbelievable!
