- Hello Singderellos
In this video I react to an otherworldly performance of 'Sinful Passion' by Dimash Kudaibergen. Probably the most incredible singer technique wise I have EVER heard. In this video, I am watching this performance for the very first time and I analyse his performance and vocal technique.

I've never seen a voice expert reactor to any artist capable of reproducing with her own voice every single sound she wants to explain in her analysis...That's a feat that not all voice coaches can really accomplish...The way you were bowing to Dimash, now it's my turn to do to you, FVM.. You a ARE a Fairy Voice Mother of class..🙏🙂
have you check out Emi Pellegrino ?
@@MrNhientu Emi Pellegrino великолепна
Absolutely, her voice is really really good!!!! I am actually very impressed 🙏🙏👌👌👌❤️❤️
@@wooshbait36 he never said she's a better vocal coach because of that. He just praised her ability to reproduce the sounds, which, on top of the best knowledge, tells you she knows exactly what she's talking about, and has the way to express it, not only with words, but with actions as well...And that is actually, I'd say 89.9% of her communication skills as a voice coach...
The only other coach I've seen who can reproduce some of Dimash's vocals is Ken Tamplin.
My mother watched Sinful Passion and described him as having:
"A voice that could get you pregnant. From a CD".
Lol, lol😂😂
I watched another vocal coach having an orgasm to dimashs voice. I think it’s THE CHARISMATIC VOICE channel
Perfect description
@@U.N.763 Well, it does help that he sings like an angel, has the looks of a Greek God and is more handsome than legally allowed!
😂
I love that The Fairy Voice Mother analysis of Dimash always follows the formula:
1. Describes that what Dimash just did with excellent knowledge and technical details
2. Explains that it requires a supernatural voice, and a gazillion hours of practice.
2. Takes a short breath.
3. Replicates what Dimash just did......
And the rest of CZcams goes "waait a minute....?" 🤔
Facts!!
she replicates most of the notes, but she certainly can't replicate the texture and/or the actual performance
I see no lies here! She can SING.
She’s the best 😮❤
I think she can sing it.
Her- "How is he so calm?"
That's his most excited face.
LoL
That was unreasonably funny. 🤣🤣🤣
He’s the composer of the song
It is pretty cool he is part of the original group who recorded
this song
As far that I know this performance is in any way related to the former singer of the band who passed away. And the piano player asked dimash to sing in reminiscence of their dead vocalist. We cannot imagine what's going on in his head at that moment...
Alright, let's blow your mind.
"Dimash - Ogni Pietra" next!
That one is off the charts.
Yess..."hello" too...crazy dimash
I am not quite sure there is anything left there to blow. 🤣
Yes yes more Dimash please, he is just different than everyone🧐🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
Do you think he is calm now? You should ask how he can remain calm in front of an entire stadium which I understand can seat over 20,000. Olympico (Ogni Pietra) next please.
I’m usually annoyed when reactors sing to copy dimash’s voice but yours is absolutely lovely plus done more like showing the technique and not showing off your talent
Exactly! When she did the yodel thing I was like "wait..what??".
I think she should do a cover 🙂
So true

You’re the FIRST one I’ve seen, that watched this video, who not only KNOWS what Dimash was doing in that “goat-thing-section” but the only one who has DONE it!! You’re a master class. Well done!!
My mom once told:" hmmm interesting how he does that and then perfectly replicated that. At that moment I wanted to step out of the moving car cause we were driving 😭

@@delymatsko919your mom's great 😆
OMG! That was amazing. I’ve seen-literally-hundreds of reactions to this performance and this is one of the best. Nobody has ever brought up the term “Caprino” before, not even the excellent Italian Vocal Coaches like Roberto Delli Carri who has one of the absolute best breakdowns of Dimash’s vocal techniques in this song. Roberto duplicated the sound on the spot, but even he didn’t know what it was called. I love how much you love talking about singing, it’s so exhilarating to watch. People are going to suggest lots of Dimash songs for you to do next, but if you’re interested in seeing him do other vocal techniques that you haven’t seen yet I’d suggest “Hello” from the Singer, “Your Love” or “Know” New Wave performance at Sochi & if you really want to get your mind blown then do “Know” from the Arnau Tour in the same video. Same song, but wildly different arrangements and vocal approaches. I can’t wait! You’re really a special person, I hope you know that.
Agree! 💯❤
Oh Joel you are such a delight. Thank you so much eternally for your support it means the world. Loads of love to you darling xo

I so agree with your estimation of her. She is amazing. I was just as amused at her using the word caprino, because, like you, I have watched a bajillion reactions to this performance, and, like you, thos is the first time that word was mentioned.

Lol, I thought the same thing.
Why do I feel like you are one of the few vocal coach's that could pull off a fairly decent cover of a Dimash song?
her low notes nit hard
Was just speculating on how much I’d pay to see/hear Lolli and Dimash perform a duet. Quite a bit, actually.
Hello, I’m from Russia! The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental technique. The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band's name is A'Studio (Russian-based Kazakhstani pop music group, "Alma-Ata Studio", city of Almaty). The dead singer left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poet Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebayev, who is the keyboardist with long hair, which we see in the video accompanying Dimash.
dimash
Thanks for the info. Keep it coming ❤
that might explain the fact they didnt pass out halfway from dimash performance xD
The only part you missed was that the 'caprino' section was a very specific ethnic homage to Shukenov - it was a special message to the other band members... I'm actually impressed that they maintained composure as they would have known EXACTLY why Dimash did that small section.
OMG! You have a great voice by yourself!!!
You heard her version of Lilac Wine on her other channel Lolli Wren?!
If I ever get to heaven---I know that Dimash's voice will be welcoming me in. He is the voice of an angel.

Dimash king of music prince of harmonies and God of songs thank for your reaction you have a beautiful voice ❤
I just love your reactions. When we, mere mortals, just sit there stunned and in awe, and dumbstruck, you come up with the science of it, throw in a healthy portion of humor, and - to top it off - can actually demonstrate what you analyze. Hats off to you, Fairy Voice Mother.
I agree. And, for this review, me thinks the Fairy Voice Mother took flight - I assume she's landed by now. That's the most fun I've had watching a reaction.
Yes, PLEASE, an extended technical analysis of vocal techniques that Dimash uses! Even in the brief technical analysis you did for this song, you explained some things that baffle many other vocal coaches. You're absolutely the first I've heard to explain what's happening when his tongue is vibrating on that one note. I've always wondered, and now I know! This was also the best explanation of the caprino vibrato that leaves some other vocal coaches mystified. It's a bonus that your personality is so fun to watch.
Oh you are so lovely and supportive, thank you much my darling! Dimash hour pending! x
@@TheFairyVoiceMother You’re gonna need to watch at least 5 or 6 more songs to see all the different techniques he has mastered. He only uses what he needs to tell a particular story so there’s no one song where he does everything. He’s got some stuff that you’re just flat out not going to be able to do, because either it takes years of practice or because no human has ever done it in a performance of a song, except him. This is not hyperbole.

The reason the band are so calm is because it is their song he is singing A Studio is the band name you need to watch this to the end where you will see how humble he is as an artist x
FVM. I am a Dear and the very fact that you have only reacted to two of the GOAT's songs is heart wrenching. I LOVE your analysis and your appreciation, not to mention your own obvious singing talent. You must do Ogni Pietra and Love is like a dream. Please, please, please. You are one of the very few capable of doing them justice because you bring such clarity to what he is doing and how while visibly enjoying it as you do it. You could easily become the GOAT vocal coach reactors. I think you are an extremely special young lady. Thank you so much!
The pianoman is calm because he musician Baigali Serkebaev in Russian band call "A-studio" and his experience in music industry start in 1982 its not a big surprise for him hear such a beautiful voice. He's on stage about 35-40 years

Dear mother. Have you ever thought to react to Dimash’s idol ?
Her name is Lara Fabian. She sings in French, Italian, English, Spanish, Arabic, Russian... all her songs are wonderful. Here is my little advises choose always in live version.
In French :
Je suis Malade
Je t’aime
In English :
You’re not from here
Adagio
Broken vow
In Italian :
Caruso
Perdere l’amore
Please continue to react to wonderful singers. You are already my favorite reactor.
The pianist is so chill, because he's the composer of the song.
Here is a little inside information I did not see mentioned in the comments section. This ties his "yodel" technique to this performance. The band playing with Dimash is "A-Studio." The song "Sinful Passion" is their original song. Their original singer that recorded the song passed away years ago. From my limited understanding, that yodel technique is part of Dimash's culture. It is often used at funerals as a show of respect. This was Dimash paying his respects to the original singer and the band. You can find the original version of the song on CZcams. It is well worth a listen, as it is more of a pop song and sounds very different from the Dimash version. It shows the brilliance of Dimash in restructuring this song to match his voice.
Thank you for this.
That is an old-wife's story. There is nothing related to funerals and grief connected to that technique. It is simply a traditional singing technique of Turkic origin, still quite common in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. Dimash mastered it by himself.
@@Watchamacallit000 Totally agree, this theory is not true!
Thank you for that sensitive and insightful comment. It doesn't surprise me as I am certain it doesn't you that Dimash would be aware of and want to make sure credit was given where due - even if posthumously - albeit with no fanfare needed to the ones that came before, who helped pave the way for him.
Unlike silly, self-preoccupied, self-centered idiots like Justin Bieber, who thought racing a racing car down a Florida city street at night - at his trailer trash father's instigation - risking hurting or killing someone was "fun" - for which he was charged but got off with a hand slap!
Dimash is as he put it "I am a real man" and the type of man you or I 0 be, would with honor proud to call our friend.
Thank you for adding this information i knew parts of it but couldn't find it when i looked for it
fyi that was 23 second of singing without breathing xD
Not only that, but he did it in the middle of the song. That's like back flipping OUT of a pool and just walking off like it's nothing
The genuine joy in your face watching this is so infectious, I can't help but smile watching you watch him.
His phrasing is also fantastic! His vocal approach is very lyrical! He seamlessly weaves together legato and staccato lines - WOW! As a guitarist, I can totally hear this - or on a trumpet. And his breath control! And perfect 'hum-singing'! WTF is that flutter - some modal thing?! Are those semitones he sung - like an Eastern scale or something?! (He came up with 'that' because he's a virtuoso AND a musical genius!
Your facial expressions said it all! Nice reaction.
Dimash is going to need the help of his fans this coming Friday (and every Friday) in order to help him retain the #1 position in requests that he gained for the first time on the March 12 MTV youtube channel Friday Livestream when he replaced the act that had been holding that position for over six months!. All it takes is tuning in live when the program airs in one's time zone (5-8 pm on Fridays, New York time) and typing REQUEST DIMASH (no extra text or emojis) as many times as possible in the chat during the three hours of the program. Our votes succeeded in helping Dimash replace the act that had held the #1 position for six months! He deserves to be at the top and we need to keep him there! It's Dimash's hopes and dreams to become as successful in the western world as he is in his own country. This is an important and easy way we can give back to him some of all that he has given to us! Let's not let him down.
gdouglas999 I’ve been meaning to thank you for your unflagging efforts in encouraging and reminding us all to vote. Your dedication is amazing.
@@dihathaway7076 Thank you for noticing. I think that the vast majority of Dimash fans don't even know about the MTV effort nor in the voting platforms that are available for Dimash on Google Forms, Twitter and Instagram because there really doesn't seem to be much publicity about them. Even though I'm a member of Dimash/USA Fan Club I've never once been notified by them regarding this (even though it is personally important to Dimash). I don't personally use Facebook, Twitter or Instagram (except for voting for Dimash) so reaching out to viewers of these reaction videos seems the best way for me to communicate the need to help Dimash in this way. Besides, old guys like me who are wearing out our fingers and our bodies typing away for three hours every Friday can use all the help we can get!!

"This is my reaction... I hope you're happy." 🤩
This was another very enjoyable reaction. This was his 2018 guest performance at the New Wave competition held annually since 2002 at the New Wave Hall in Sochi Olympic Park. The band A-Studio is originally from Kazakhstan. The keyboard player, Baigali Serkebaev, composed the song together with the poet Ilia Reznik, and the song was first performed in 1998. The singer of the group A-Studio passed away in 2015, and in this concert, the group was backing up guest vocalists. The triangle man is multi-percussionist Ilya Pokrovsky, a very talented man and a close friend of Dimash and member of the Dimash team (DQ Team). He plays various percussion instruments and accompanies Dimash in all his concerts.
Someone explained that the special tribal riff is something practiced in Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and other parts of Asia. A similar technique is also used in some parts of the Middle East. It is referred to by some as a "glottal stop". We use it too when we say "uh oh". A Kazakh CZcamsr commented that Dimash used a Kazakh singing technique, called 'komeymen aytu'. You can hear it among the Turan Group. Sakha people use this technique too; they call it 'kylyhah'. I read somewhere that the tribal vocalization was a tribute to the deceased singer, as it is similar to a technique usually used by women in Kazakh funeral ceremonies.
This competition was organized by the man in the white shirt who stood up in the first row, Billionaire Igor Krutoy, a famous Ukrainian and Russian music composer, performer, producer, and musical promoter. He invited Dimash to perform and it was this performance that prompted him to come out of retirement and compose masterpieces for Dimash to sing, such as I Miss You, Ogni Pietra, Your Love, just to name a few. Since this concert, he has been collaborating with Dimash, writing music with his vocal range in mind, and often accompanying him on the piano. So you'll see more of him.
Great information, thank you!

Do yourself a favor, and check “Sinful Passion Moscow Fancam”, no need to react, but you have to see it... even better, dramatic ending, and camera on his face the whole time. It is out of this world! Next reaction should be Opera 2, or Ogni Pietra (also called Olympico).
There are 5 level of singing;
1- Beginner
2- Intermediate
3- Advanced
4-
5-Dimash
You nailed it! He is like an addicting drug. No matter how many times I listen to him he always leaves me asking, wanting for more - including reviews by our very own Fairy Voice Mother!
The other reactor I like as much as she is The Portrait Art - an American citizen but China born artist who does wonderfully insightful analyses of Dimash but isn't a voice teacher. His reactions open up an entirely different world of understanding of what Dimash is doing. I think you might enjoy him.
1- Beginner
2- Intermediate
3- Advanced
4- Master
5- Dimash
@@brendaguerin1409 I know, which is disappointing. He is the only one who was able to comment on how unbelievably accurate Dimash's pronunciation of the Chinese lyrics to Autumn Strong and Daybreak were. I really like him.
You are spot on in my opinion!
Correct and funny !!!
Guess what Ms. Fairy. DIMASH intends to start composing. WOW. I hope we will be watching some of that one day. Love your style. God bless ❤️
Вся сеть в тренерах по вокалу и первый раз слышу профессиональный разбор полёта. А самое главное, что эта девушка не только понимает, о чем говорит, но и достаточно близко демонстрирует, что тоже умеет петь. Хорошо петь.
Probably the only “vocal coach” on CZcams that can actually sing. And you’re funny as fak! Subscribed! Boom!
ahhhhhh fakin lav ya. thank you x
@@TheFairyVoiceMother 😝✌🏼
word
Agree about this bonkers lady, however I can name several vocal coach reactors on here who have proven they can sing.
@@DrSkeff Yeah, Like Ken Tamplin and a few more.
Dimash "Across endless dimensions"
Эта женщина покорила моё сердце
Very nice reaction to Dimash. I’m not educated in all the vocal techniques but it doesn’t matter to me what a Dimash does and is able to do with voice or while he’s singing. I just love the way he sings and sounds. LOL😆😝😊 He’s just a extraordinary artist. Love him PERIOD........... Great reaction!
Wow that guys voice is extraordinary 😍
Hi, it sure is!
AMEN!! x
Still waiting for your one hour Dimash analysis extravaganza! Love your analysis!
Dimash -Autumn Strong
You are truly delightful - Thank You for an Awesome reaction to Dimash, the absolute greatest vocalist on the planet ... welcome again 🤗 buckle up and enjoy, it gets better... and better! 💐
Thank you so very much lovely!! (what a beautiful name you have!) x
Thank YOU so much @@TheFairyVoiceMother ✨🧚🏻♀️✨🤗💐
It is a great pleasure to see your genuin reaction as a reflection of your own personal first experience .....
You do an amazing job of showing some of the techniques yourself. ❤
This is literary the best vocal coach reaction i've seen and on top of that you can actually sing !
most if not all if the vocal coach react videos are done by people who can't even sing a regular song let alone something crazy like the ones dimash sings and you nailed every single one of em AND explained everything so incredibly ! I am amazed
Not subscribing to your channel is a sin
Столько реакций с Димашом смотрел, но эту девушку смотреть одно удовольствие))
такие гримасы с ума соти вот это реакция
@@ludmilalashova5660 спасибо, я поумнел.
)))))))))))))
Спасибо!) Увлекательная реакция. И весёлая)))
You're my favourite person on reaction videos. Bright, smart, funny and beautiful ❤
Best reaction to Dimash ever!
Another great reacción loved Dimash omg 😃😊☺😍👍🙋♀️❤🙏
What great ears you have. Never thought about a tongue-tip consonant like [ t ] produced with sides of tongue for a soft onset. Brilliant!
aw thank you! Just doing my job. Lots of love xo
This guy is unreal nothing is compared. Literally one on his own
Dimash number one forever 🇵🇼 Kazakhstan 🇵🇼
The man in white shirt standing and applauding is legendary Russian composer and music mogul. After this performance, he became Dimash's main composer and mentor. Krutoy has written songs specifically for Dimash "Ogni Prieto"&
"Love of Tired Swans" Dimash also performs several Krutoy classics most of which Lara Fabian was the lyricist "Know"
"Your Love" & "Madamoiselle Hyde"
BTW, "Sinful Passion" was a 1980's hit for the Kazakh-Russian band "Studio A" & they were playing behind him in this performance. They looked bored but they weren't. They've played that song for over 30 years & they have known Dimash since he was a child prodigy who was performing in Kazakhstan at age 6. I love your technical expertise and explanations & your beautiful spirit. Thanks a lot & blessings.
Your knowledge of the vocal instrument and all of it's idiosyncrasies is really impressive.
What's astounding to me is that you can "Teach" about them. Ordinarily I wouldn't be interested in a really detailed break down.
However with your style and understanding I would absolutely enjoy an indepth breakdown of Dimash's vocal mastery.
Mainly because I can understand what you are talking about with the way you teach.
I can hardly wait to see what you do next! Cheers!
This honestly means the whole wide world thank you so much. I really just started this channel because I wanted to teach vocal technique in an accessible non snobby way and if I have helped you I have completed my quest. Thank you xo
It's fun watching someone who has more of a grasp on what he's doing recognize how we're watching one of the genuine talents of our generation. This has been fun.
Love your reactions! There are so many, many wonderful Dimash songs, but I especially suggest his cover of Lionel Richie’s “Hello” from the Singer 2018. He was a guest, not competing. Apparently Lionel Richie didn’t approve, because he has not allowed Dimash to sing it since then. Makes no sense to me because it’s fantastic performance. Love, a Florida Dear.
One of the best vocal technique breakdown on this song. You are hilarious at the same time. Continue into Dimash's world, there's always an element of surprise with each song.
Thank you so so much xo
I love your analysis. The best technical explanation of the Dimash phenomenon so far.
Funny in fact whenever you copy whatever Dimash did onstage, your version through my iPad sounds fantastic. Dimash is ultra super technician but your ability to recreate those incredible sounds created by human vocal cord is out of this world to say the least. Dimash must be impressed if he see this clip. Hooray.
"how is he so calm?" ... LOL, dude wrote the song >20 years ago. still, he must have incredibly enjoyed knowing his song in Dimash's hands/voice. and what a rendition it was!
