I loved your reaction! You are clearly as entranced by the genius of the band as I was back in the seventies... and still am. Once you fall for Queen, you stay fallen!
Freddie Mercury: Lead vocals, piano, and occasional guitar.
Brian May: Lead guitar, backing vocals, occasional keyboard, occasional lead vocals. Built his own guitar from random bits and pieces around the house (The red Special) as a teenager, with the help of his dad. Now Sir Brian May PhD, the author and astrophysicist.
Roger Taylor: Drums, backing vocals, occasional lead vocals.
John Deacon: Bass, occasional keyboard... plus would teach himself to play any random instrument that Freddie might decide he needed.
Both Roger and Brian have recorded solo albums, in which they are lead vocals.

These guys were to Pop Rock , what Mozart was to classical. They brought style , charisma, and absolute virtuoso musicianship to the Genre. The Rock scene of the 70;s did not know what what to make of them , No one could touch them with a 10 foot pole either because their competition simply did not have the musical ability to do so , or because many of the stars at the time were jealous . However Queen knew quite well that they were destined to be legends. They went on to gain the ultimate , utmost respect of everyone in the industry from Country to Rock , to Rap.
Country legend Garth Brooks was a HUGE Qeen Fan , and admits to being influenced by their style.Legend M.C. Hammer was a Queen fan. Even contemporary artists such as Lady GaGa even took her very stage name from Queen song " Radio GaGa". Nuno Bettencourt of the band Extreme were close friends, and heavily influenced.
Yeah I think we can say definitively Queen were FAR more than the average Rock Band. Your reaction was real , raw and sincere. I appreciate you introducing bands like this to a new generation , who may not know there was incredible music before Auto Tuned one night wonders, and Over Quantized musical hype.

It’s me again. So glad to you chose that performance. Who is the drummer? That’s Roger Taylor. He shreds his kit while singing, full out! I don’t think you noticed since you were so engrossed in the music. Roger singing background is the highest voice you’ll hear. Aside from Freddie, he’s the hardest working member of Queen. I’ve been crushing on him since 1975 and still crushing on him at 81 years old! He and Brian are still touring. In fact, they’re in the states right now touring with Adam Lambert as front man. They even played at Queen Elizabeth’s Jubilee. John Deacon, bass guitar, retired shortly after Freddie passed away. He took Fred’s passing the hardest and refused to continue without him. He is still involved financially with Queen and lives a quiet life with his wife of over 40 years. Give a listen to, “Under Pressure.” Wembly Stadium. Great reaction! Thanks. I’ll be watching.

@@PlutoPlease I only say that because, Brian and John get to stroll the stage, never breaking a sweat. Roger, on the other hand, is pounding his kit, keeping the beat, both arms whacking a Tom or a cymbal or a snare, he foot tattooing that bass pedal and he’s also singing. Sometime, you should check out a video of Roger called, Multi-Cam. Roger Taylor, the song is, “Now I’m Here.” You’ll really appreciate his stamina.

@@PlutoPlease Yeah, this is one of my favorite videos to show people how incredible Roger is - drumming like a madman while hitting those high vocals with just as much passion as Freddie. You really can't sleep on anyone in Queen - they weren't Freddie and his band, they all four played multiple instruments, sang, and each of them wrote multiple smash hits. It was just magic that they happened to do it together and we get to enjoy it.

    Hopefully helpful hints here:
    1) The blinking lights. (for me at least) VERY distracting and hurt my eyes. I'm actually pausing the video to write this. The lights would be fine if they were not flashing.
    2) Unless you're really feeling it all the motions/dancing aren't really needed. When reactors do this I usually find it fake and don't come back. Pay attention to the video and do your commentary. Movement is one thing. Taking away from the video is another.
    3) Rule #1 for Queen songs. You never ever pause during a Brian solo!
    4) 99.9% of the time Queen does not block so have at it!
    That said the plus side:
I love new "Queenies" It's a very very deep rabbit hole to go down and I hope you enjoy every second.
You have good takes on their music (so far) and be ready for many surprises to come.
