Hey guys! For #7 'Spend your Splendor' the community pointed out this information is actually incorrect! Splendor does actually save up (not that you would want to save it). CZcams has removed the ability to add annotations to videos to correct this so I'm adding it here in the comments!
Pro Gamer move : mark every provinces as vital interest in 11th November 1444
The best pro gamer move
In my Scotland game I had Russia as a PU. Russia had land in Mexico as vital interest so my colonies would give him control then I had to give control back to my colonies.
3:37 The main bonus for sending an insult is that increases your power proyection. You should try to maintain it above 50, you will gain 3 mana montly, wich is equal to having a lvl 3 advisor.
100%, I always try and do that. The only time it’s strange is when you do that and it doesn’t give you a power projection bonus
@@yetikings that bonus only shows up against rivals, and you can't have a truce with that rival when you send it.
@@GoldenAura32 AHHH that's why! I had been trying to figure out why it wasn't triggering
@@yetikings yeah, and i also think as long as you have the bonus it wont reset to 5 when you do it again. Its a very weird condition, it may even have a per rival cooldown. Say once every 10-15 years? I generally have to rotate it between rivals and it still doesn't trigger 5-10% of the time.
@@GoldenAura32 Yeah that definitely makes sense
In regards to the provinces of vital interest part: If you mark a province as vital interest (Red), your ally will always remove their strategic interest (Yellow) for it. This has been the case since at least 1.31, if not earlier. You cannot add a province as Red however if you're in a war where an ally has that province as either Yellow or Red.
I've watched enough Ludi videos to know most of these, but should still be a good video for people :)
Thanks!
Well done, i learned some tips and tricks I didnt know before
Glad you enjoyed it!
great video and great content! looking forward for your next videos :)
Thanks!
Another awesome video :)
Great tips, I have 300 hours in EU4 and still more than a half of tips was new for me. Gj :)
Glad it helped!
Good tips. One can only centralise a state if you own every province of that state.
Good call!
Tips when playing horde: save around 600 adm points, change capital, when you conquer land go 180+ overextension or even more, raze + centralize development, now you are just around 90+ overextension
now your new garbage dev capital become 25-30+ dev preferably with your culture (banner for mongol and manchu) without paying with mana, while getting lots of mana, then you easily save 600+ adm points and go 180+ overextension again
Tips 2: learn about your neighbors mission trees, it will allow you like your wallachian allies impales the ottoman sultan and remove that 556 nightmare
What does the change capital do to help as a horde? I know razing helps bring back mana to capital, is it because your previous capital dev gets too large?
@@yetikings if the development gets too big in capital we cannot concentrate devs, so we choose low devs provinces , it can be a steppe land, but it is more optimal for CoT. The problem is you can only make trade company outside subcontinent, so when plays as horde we need money and merchant too, we put our capital outside eastern asia around mongol/tartary, so it is usually at garbage devs, but hey now they are become precisious land
I don't expect new players to have all the dlcs though.
This is true, however Paradox now has a subscription service for new players that includes all DLC!
hoist the 🏴 flag
Only one I didn't know, the first one.
Then you must be outside the EU4 tutorial then 😂
You can save over 800 splendor. No problem. Same as government reform.
From the research I did you can’t but maybe it’s outdated. Do you have a link for that?
@@yetikings If you go in game and use the console command with "splendor" or "splendors" you can give yourself whatever amount of splendor you want and when you spend it you lose only 800 of it.
yeah but you cannot take it over to the next age
I know it is depleted after the end of an age, but that wasn't what he explained, he said it works like imperial authority when you need to use all the authority even the surplus above 50 to pass a reform. And splendor doesn't work like that. You can stacks it, have 2400 splendors and spend it to earn 3 bonii at once if you want
@@yetikings I can confirm from my nearly 4k hours in this game, getting an age ability does not use up all of your splendor, only 800. If you are having it all be spent, that is a bug, not a feature.
None of this exists in my game. Is it dlc i dont have ??
What DLC do you have?
7. you can save over 800
From the tests I did it didn't save over 800, did you see differently somewhere?
I recommend turning off the game music, gets a bit intense but otherwise cooo hideo!
Yeah I usually have a Spotify playlist running when I play
I love eu4 music
Automatic diplomat same time its bad . Because sametimes its not send diplomat other nations . Always you send diplomat better than auto
Huh?
It’s definitely a mix between the two that you would do
You can "visually see"....
Which part?
after 5000 hours i dont think thats true for me xD
