Those who leave this cult, I feel, embody the word COURAGE. Only the strong can escape this emotional-controlling cult. Only brave souls take on all the backlash those inside are dishing out when you decide to leave. Courage, Bravery, and Fearlessness are demonstrated by everyone who decides that they will accept the lies no longer. The opposite apply to the zombies inside the cult. Freedom Rules!

Thank you very much for your brave videos and heart felt concerns. My wife is an active JW and I have woken up. It is very difficult for me at times. I love my wife very much and it has become an issue. The hardest part is that there are topics that are "off-limits". However, I find much encouragement from watching videos from the ex-JW community on youtube. If my circumstances were different I would be right there with you. Keep up the great work and again, much thanks : )

+Tony McGurk I'm sorry you are going through it alone. Be patient with her , just as it takes time to slowly get into the religion , getting out for some takes time as well. Leak out a tiny bit at a time to her. Just as a pioneer once told me about getting into the religion and their beliefs "inch by inch it's a cinch , yard by yard , it's hard" , so a fact or two here and there may be what it takes for some. For me back in April of this year , it was learning about the two witness rule , child molestation , and the so called congregation shunning me when was going through depression , got down to 97 lbs , and they avoided me like I had leprosy! Three "worldly people " is who kept me going no thanks to the watchtower babble and crap society as Kim and Mikey call them.

Be extremely thankful your mate woke up with you. My wife chose to believe the cult over the evidence I shared with her. Our marriage has not been the same since, and we almost divorced.

I know you wrote this 6 years ago but I am in the same situation. I told my husband 6 months ago that wanted to leave JW and he told me I was a stiff necked jew along with some other choice swear words. He has settled down but says he’s never leaving. We had a long discussion how it will impact our lives, friendships etc. He told me to write a letter then blew up because he didn’t like what I wrote.
He has since calmed down. We have only been on a few meetings since then even though he can go on the zoom meetings if he wants but chooses not to.
I agree this is the worst time in my marriage and I am still wondering if down the road I will want yo divorce. I feel we live on different planets. He still will occasionally say a prayer before we eat and he asks Jehovah to watch over his world wide organization meanwhile I am steaming inside.
I also told my husband I will attend meetings if he wants me to ho but with the understanding of how I feel. I do not believe in the GB, they are plain ordinary men not appointed by God. I don’t believe in their doctrines, 144,000 annointed , times of the end or Armageddon, disfellowshipping, or basically most of it.
I still fear our marriage may not last.

You are so fortunate. I almost had a nervous breakdown when I woke up and my husband just wouldn't listen. We are still together after 42 years but I still cannot share any of my thoughts, he is in complete denial. 'It is easier to be fooled than to convince someone they have been fooled'. Mark Twain.

I am in the same situation although we are married only 12 years. He was inactive when I met him and he essentially recruited me. Now I want out. It’s not easy. I know what you mean about topics off limits and I truly don’t know how much longer I can last living this way.

I just subscribed to your channel after watching this as the second of two of your videos. I was glued. Never having been a Jehovah's Witness I can hardly imagine what you all go through when you begin opening your eyes to the truth about the organization. I could just feel your anxiety before you knew your husband would support you.
My heart goes out to Watchtower members who are waking up, and the horrible emotional roller-coaster ride that it is.

If the zombies left that cult and told their relatives to stay as long as they wanted then the halls would be empty. People do not want to lose their families. But the way I feel is that mother nor father will keep me in a religion and I did not believe in it. Im outta there. The family can stick it. GONE

  • @rogersharman1751

You did well to think this Religion through and decided to quit them for good. I left 44 years ago being brought up in this Religion (which I like to call a cult). Most witnesses who attend the meetings are not allowed to question what comes up in the Watchtower. I was told these are Gods servants so we must not question them. This is like an extreme form of brain washing I like you dear lady would question anything revealed by the Watchtower and too many times they did not make sense.
So I moved out of the area because all my friends and associates were witnesses and made a new start. That was the best move of my life. I have never regretted it. It can be hard to start with because you are making new friends and your whole method of thinking has to change. Even now some of my sisters are still witnesses and would like me to return but I never will. I encourage all witnesses who have doubts about this cult to follow through on your conscience and quit you will never regret it.

Your sincerity adds great weight to each of your words. The payoff for the misery the JWs bring to kids is more misery as adults. They teach you to fear anything that will allow you to develop your talents. And why? Thanks for the video. I hope you and your family have a terrific life.

  • @harlanurwiler7146

This is why we must all think seriously about religion, God, and the after life. Someone I once knew made this statement "There are no atheists in foxholes." He was a veteran with wartime experience on the front line. What this meme is meant to express is that it is easy to be an atheist when you are not being immediately confronted with your own mortality and the with the frailty of your own human life. Likewise, it is easy to believe lies when they make you feel secure.... but you only know for sure if you believe them when you receive a terminal cancer diagnosis, or when you have only a few minutes left to live on the emergency room table. Sometimes death happens so suddenly there is no time to reflect at all. So.... do you really believe you'll be coming back to live on a paradise earth one day after you die? Do you really have peace with turning to dust and being a feast for the worms? Not many JWs can really honestly answer such questions.

in my opinion is to research the bible starting with who most of heard about all our life God and Jesus. Then look intonthe birth of Jesus. Who was his family, mother and father etc. What is significant about Jesus why is he the one we all speak of throughout life and history. Knowing how life is naturally did he have enemies as we do a wife what did he eat etc. Where did he come from meaning country, what was his nationality. What was his purpose his why is he soo great. Did everyone like him or love him or believe in him. When did he die and how. Now that he's gone what shall we do now, what instructions did he leave for us to follow to be great as him far as being sinless. What about the rest of his family brothers cousins etc. What information written or told can we find out about this. This shall answer any questions to me I think anyone should seek to find out to get true religion. Since the gospels been heard around the world others may have pictures experiences knowledge of him and his family and anything related to his existence. Throughout time in many lands kings and rulers trials and tribulations there are historical artifacts you can go back and see today if permitted. Beware there are many liars who claim to have the only true knowledge of him so they attrack many ears if you can read between the lines you'll know the truth for yourself and you can be a true believer and not belong to any group or organization just to obtain knowledge of this divine guidance for humanity. When we label ourselves as THE ONLY and form biased opinions about him his purpose his family and instructions then we form a box that noone else can enter without some type of initiation process. If the gospel is public knowledge why hide it. See if you read alone maybe 2 or 3 with common similar interest you have now formed a church it doesn't have to be a building or a hall. The whole matter of it all is to be as sinless as possible according to biblical laws which are in life good eating good teaching good living, anything opposite of that is death bad teaching bad eating bad living. Some in life have no care for this you can offer knowledge if not leave them be. Its not your job to force feed knowledge but to merely offer a healthy way of life and who doesn't want that. Jesus did have one overall purpose and that was to follow his bloodline family the 12 tribes and they will lead the way in this way of life. Now if I'm wrong minus a couple details thats pretty much it rite bottom line follow the laws keep the commandments and live what else is there.

  • @nevig6557
    @nevig6557 Před 8 lety

I think you can consider it the brightest moment in your life and a new start for you really...because you will now have a chance to really know Jesus. Many find the bombshells discouraging, or feel under attack when introduced to truths, and you will begin to understand the deep damage done to MANY..so so few manage to break free, and actually find spiritual balance. It's so great you managed as a couple, because yes..I think you may have been crushed to do that alone so consider that an intervention of the Lord itself just for starters.
It's a fantastically huge topic, but I can suggest to anyone that really wants to broaden their understanding or find good direction into the deepness of the matter to search 'Jason Zelda' - Hidden from JW's series.
In these times, where ALL denominations have all been infiltrated by satan, it is imperative to study the Word well, and be very astute and aware in many things. Some find discouragements all too great and fall away totally, so its really a sensitive matter, but I think if you study the information presented, it will help you, and others to have a really expanded understanding of the depth of deception. There are some channels that tend to pit one denomination against another, in an attempt to prove a 'denomination' or specific 'doctrine' right..and this is useless and more destructive.. I can comfortably say that the Jason Zelda channel will be very inspirational and informative for you. Say your prayers, and the Lord will light your way further.
