I found your channel yesterday and I’m so happy I did! You combine my two favorite things: vegan food and NYC. Also, your voice is really calming. Anyway, have a great day :)
I see this place on my explore feed on insty all the way from Australia and want to cry every time, it looks AMAZING (also you got a new sub, hi!) You and Roberto and some beautiful humans!
We ate at the Crown Heights location a few days ago! Quite the train ride to get there after walking across the Brooklyn bridge but 100% worth it! They were out of cannolis but we had several pieces of pizza, buffalo wings and garlic knots. Soooooooo good! My favorite was the "white". We gave you a shout out while we were there! Btw, we had an amazing meal, including cannolis at Subias Vegan Cafe! The Reuben, Philly cheeze and biscuits and gravy were so delish! Like, spot on! I'm sure you've tried it but if not, check them out! I missed Reubens so much and it was just like I remembered! They have delicious desserts also, most of which are gluten free! Btw, our 9 year old looked and looked for you the whole time we were there 😊
Ooh, I freaking LOVE pizza! These slices look absolutely perfect--larger than life and full of flavor! I''d finish all of those slices myself without a doubt or just five slices of that artichoke pizza and a bowl of those buffalo wings!
Those canolis looked soo good! I havn't had many deserts since going vegan. I really miss donuts and cookies. I'm looking forward to the vegan baked goods that will slowly become more and more available in my area. Thanks for the vid!
Love your hair and the hairstyles you do. Love how your hair and make up was at the end and how do you keep it ( in other videos as well ). Like your style
I can’t decide if I should get the plain pizza, screamer pizza, wings, Philly cheese steak sandwich, roast broccoli sandwich or which 2 items I should get. All seem so good
Aaaaahhhhhh!! I wanna try that location sooooo bad! 😩😍🤤 I already LOVE their pizza so I have so much hope for this location. The wings look sooooo bomb! I might have to go tonight.
Yo Queens needs more vegan stuff. Theres the Red Pipe Cafe in Forest Hills on Austin. There are various juice bars on Jamaica Ave that have vegan snacks. Then there's the Smile of the Beyond in Kew Gardens Hills.
Lmfao, I don't think there's ever been a time where I had a cannoli and didn't pretend smoke it. And funnily enough, I've never been a big fan of them myself.
I'm from Rhode Island, we call it a grinder. Meatball grinder, Italian grinder. Hamburger grinder etc... Some places call it a sub, none too very few call it a hero here.
@@bodegacatx That's fair. When this happens for me in April, my wife and I will go to Champs. It's the established standard for vegan in Brooklyn, we'll be there in the morning, and we can always enjoy Screamer's food at Blackbird in Philly.
Hi. I found you a few weeks ago I really like your videos. I like vegan food and Im so excited to know some places to get that food. I like to know where is the new location for screamers.
My bestie found this place from watching this video and we went yesterday. Wow, whole ass vegan spot in my neighborhood and I ain't een know it. Andddd it was really good. Expensive but good. And the hot wings are HEFTY. As well as the sandwiches.
Hype means not as good as people say it is. That looked pretty good to me except for the Vegan Treats. I don't like their products much. I was in their store in Bethlehem, Pa, which you can get to from off Interstate 78 from Jersey City outside of Manhattan. Well I saw a big can of Crisco, Jiff Peanut Butter, and then all the artificial flavored and colored items. It just isn't healthy. Tastewise, it is overly sweet. Their chocolate chip cookie gave me a toothache. The cannoli is probably stuffed with Crisco and sugar. Having had real cannolis that are stuffed with ricotta and maybe lemon zest or chocolate chips, I give it a five after trying one there.
I’ve grown to realize that hype has slightly different meaning based on region. Hype where I grew up means awesome. Overhyped means not as good as ppl say. To hype someone up is to encourage someone or spread good news about them. And “the hype” means all the good things and excitement about something.
If you find yourself in pittsburgh, go to spak brothers pizza! Pizza is awesome but the always steal the show. Their seitan philly cheesesteak is incredible and fooled my very carnivorous dad and brother. Other places in Pittsburgh to visit: the zenith (vegan breakfast buffet), sugar spell scoops, B52, mad mex (shadyside location, get the buffalo wing burrito with seitan wings and vegan ranch), onion maiden. @veganpittsburgh on instagram is helpful 🥕❤️
Glen Kelly Burger King is testing the Impossible Burger at 59 St. Louis locations. But expected to go nationwide next month, I guess they getting their inventory together.
My older sister is taking me to NYC in January for my 21st, we are only there for 3 days :( But that is 9 meals!! Plus snacks. What would be some of your top food recommendations for us to try?
I don't get how you use the word "hype." That usually means something is thought to be good, but isn't. Ok so the word hype has different uses across generations/locations I’ve realized. As I grew up, something that’s “hype” is awesome. Something that’s “overhyped” has been exaggerated. Hope that helps!
Anther explanation is: Something that is hype is good. Something that’s hyped up isn’t as good as you’ve been lead to believe. It’s a sublet difference. Like when something is shit, it’s bad. But when it’s THE shit, it’s good. 😂
I'm so glad you make these videos in NYC! This is the only location I have been to by Screamers. I was blown away.
They’re so good at what they do! 🤗🤗
Inferness hi! Where is this location?
Crown heights brooklyn
Roberto’s giant bites 😆 yess!
I saw you & Berto in the Time Out photo featuring Screamer's, so awesome!
Yes! Thank you 🤗🤗 So exciting!
Roberto just likes food
Yes. Yes he does.
Roberto is my spirit animal
Btw love your channel!
Thank you!
I found your channel yesterday and I’m so happy I did! You combine my two favorite things: vegan food and NYC. Also, your voice is really calming.
Anyway, have a great day :)
I love how happy you were when you took a bite of the "pepperoni" slice 🍕🤤 everything looks good.
Vegan treats is amazing I go every time I go to Hershey or dorney park!
I see this place on my explore feed on insty all the way from Australia and want to cry every time, it looks AMAZING (also you got a new sub, hi!)
You and Roberto and some beautiful humans!
Thanks for the video! One of the only must-visit places I haven't been to in NY. Gotta go now
Yes you do!
I’ve only watched a few videos but I’m really digging yours and Roberto’s vibes! Keep up the good work and I’ll definitely subscribe!
Thank you!
You should come to jersey and do is it hype !! Good Karma in Red Bank , NJ 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I’ll look into it!
What other places are good?
I’m so bummed I didn’t know they had this larger location with more options! However I visited the location in Brooklyn and it was sooo good!
i watch your videos like someone would binge watch episodes of a show they love
Thank you! I’ll put them on the list!
New sub! Looks amazing!especially that cannoli I haven’t eaten it in probably 8 years?!
Beautiful music. I'll be visiting NYC soon. I'll definitely be hitting them up. Fingers crossed..

they have a philly cheesesteak and pizza fries now also!! I have to go there already 😅
I wish I could have ordered everything!
Plan on trying this place today!! So excited!! 😄
In the UK we call the half sized baguette a 6 inch sub. But that's probably because that's what the UK Subway calls it.
oh damn.. Why do these videos always pop up when I'm hungry. I wish my city had some naughty vegan options.
Have to get to NY live in PA. Love your channel!!
Thank you!
Love your hair and the hairstyles you do. Love how your hair and make up was at the end and how do you keep it ( in other videos as well ). Like your style
Yay!
i enjoy watching you guy's go to these vegan places. ✌
I can’t decide if I should get the plain pizza, screamer pizza, wings, Philly cheese steak sandwich, roast broccoli sandwich or which 2 items I should get. All seem so good
Loved this video! Can’t wait to go this summer! Also I’m from Pittsburgh so I would call those sandwiches “hoagies”. Is that weird? Lol
No, I’ve definitely heard them being called hoagies before too!
In Connecticut everything is a "grinder" unless it's Subway, which is probably weirder!
In Chicago they're called hoagies, too
Fav slices are the fancy kale & spicy jack. 💜 Screamer’s
Cool videos, I just subscribed . I'm a Vegan moving to NYC later this year.
Hope you love it!
Aaaaahhhhhh!! I wanna try that location sooooo bad! 😩😍🤤 I already LOVE their pizza so I have so much hope for this location. The wings look sooooo bomb! I might have to go tonight.
Do it!
Vegan Bodegacat it’s on Franklin in Brooklyn ? I thought it was in manhattan 🤔
If you’re ever in queens we have 2 vegan restaurants here Veggie Castle ll and A Live Kitchen (the avocado BLT is my favorite)
Yo Queens needs more vegan stuff. Theres the Red Pipe Cafe in Forest Hills on Austin. There are various juice bars on Jamaica Ave that have vegan snacks. Then there's the Smile of the Beyond in Kew Gardens Hills.
I do have a recipe for vegan guava and 'cheese' puff pastries that I want to put into a business
There's the Oneness-Fountain-Heart and Panorama Cafe in Jamaica
mzzcece where in Queens?
Lmfao, I don't think there's ever been a time where I had a cannoli and didn't pretend smoke it.
And funnily enough, I've never been a big fan of them myself.
Everything looks so good! And maybe I should eat more broccoli sandwiches!
My favorite!🥰😍💕
Ok just left another comment on one of your videos saying you need to go here 😂 the white pizza IS. SO. GOOD.
I'm from Rhode Island, we call it a grinder. Meatball grinder, Italian grinder. Hamburger grinder etc... Some places call it a sub, none too very few call it a hero here.
one slice of that pizza is actually a legit small pizza :)))) craaaazy
Great video! If you had enough time for just one vegan meal in Brooklyn, would you go to Champs or Screamers?
Ugh that’s so hard. It really depends if you’re craving breakfast food or Italian.
@@bodegacatx That's fair. When this happens for me in April, my wife and I will go to Champs. It's the established standard for vegan in Brooklyn, we'll be there in the morning, and we can always enjoy Screamer's food at Blackbird in Philly.
Is Roberto's Free Bird tattoo a reference to the Lynyrd Skynyrd song?
I dont know! You’d have to ask him :)
You have got to the Seasoned Vegan in Harlem. So. so. so. good !!!!
Elijah Daniel yesss!
Hi. I found you a few weeks ago I really like your videos. I like vegan food and Im so excited to know some places to get that food. I like to know where is the new location for screamers.

All of NYC eats pizzas like tacos.
Vegan Bodegacat didn’t knew that hahaha :o I’ll pay attention in a few days once I’m there
