CyberPower PC FAIL

- I cannot tell you how many CyberPower PC's I've worked on that have been relatively new with little use by the end user and at one point or another a critical component fails. In my experience I've come to the conclusion that CyberPower (while convenient) puts low grade components in their computers; only upselling the "eye-catching" components and their numbers such as CPU/GPU/RAM/Storage. Which versions of those you get is a roll of the dice.
So basically, because you chose the one with less storage, you're complaining that you have to replace it?
Purchased multiple cyberpower pcs never an issue runs flawless
Same. Upgraded all the way to the 5900x and 4090 now. These dudes just ride the meat of every influencer.
Same
Mines absolute junk. I can’t even get on the computer without a glitching anymore and I’ve only had it for a year.
@@Rotarywoodworks same. I bought some msi gaming laptop from them last year and it's been like a bit over a year and it's just had nothing but issues. At first it was great then only like 5 months in the performance became way worse if it wasn't plugged in charge when it was fine before and now for a few months everytime I turn it on even if the battery is at like 80% it just dies. First and last time I buy from this company, at least laptop wise.

I've had my first PC from CyberPowerUK and it lasted me 9 years and three months. Now I've bought a new one!
Just got my Cyberpowerpc I have to say this thing runs smooth as hell no worries here, I love it
Let us know how long it lasts🙏🏾
@@purpshii2372 lmao
Specs?
I give it three months before it dies on you 🤣
my cyberpowerpc is old and works just fine.
guys i have had my cyber power pc for 3 years and it still runs smooth??
Exactly these people just don't know how to take care of it
He’s just trying to get people to go to his store
I wish i just built one on my own instead of buying from them, i keep having to send parts back!!!!
Should have got better parts before you checked out
My cyberpower pc never failed and i had it for a year
You choose your own parts, your fault lol (unless its one of those play ready pcs, makes sense)
Maybe don’t spend 600 bucks in a pc and start complaining
How much was the entire pc, Ik it’s not yours but an estimate. I’m thinking maybe if I buy a more high end prebuilt pc (say 3-4K$) they won’t cheap out on the smaller things
I never got the full price of the PC from my client but either way, a pre-fab like Dell, HP, etc, are going to be the along the same lines. They will cheap out in certain parts because the average buyer doesn’t consider important things like SLC or TLC SSD’s, Platinum, Gold, or Bronze PSU’s, RAM timings, MoBo model, and so forth so they focus on CPU, GPU, and HDD/SSD capacity.
It’s not an open and shut case to say if you spend more they won’t cheap out because they are also a business looking to make profit.
Best to build one from the ground up if you’ve got 3-4k to build with.
What is that cpu cooler called? I'm trying to find out how to remove it without damaging the cpu
broooooooooo why would anyone pay to swap an m.2 drive its 2 screws ezy
It wasn't brought in just to replace the m.2. The client couldn't figure out why the computer wouldn't boot at all.
I have the same pc and it just shuts off and shows a black screen please help
Aren’t m.2 ssds suppose to have a heat sync over it? This pc doesn’t have one I wonder how it holds up.
Cyber power pc’s are actually pretty good, I bought the new year special I and it was an amazing pc
yea usually cheap Mobo, cheap ssd, 120 aio instead of 240 or 280 or even 360, slow speed ram, ketchup and mustard power supply cables. the list goes on lol. but so hard to get a gpu these days.
All you have too do is customize the pc you want and change the components you want that’s what I did
@@why_lie217 I’m still waiting on mine. How’s yours running? Seeing horror stories. Talked to customer service today and they were great for me
Some of their older stuff kicks to this day. I bought a GUA2600BST back in 2017. Didn’t need to repair once. I guess they downgraded their service.
Never had a problem with cyber power gonna buy another actually :)
is it still good im thinking of buying from cyberpower
@@danieliuspetkevicius519710l%
Daniel yea
No issues in 4 years... The only thing is I think the water is running low and bubbling.
I've had my syberpower pc for a while I've had NO BLUE SCREENS and it runs like butter

@@hatedlogic1162 No one asked you*
How do we know if you didn't just switch out components
i have a cyberpowerpc and its fine for me
same mine is old got the pc from 2017 or 2018 got it from best buy it was 750$ something like that.
I’m buying one from there but don’t worry it’s none of those pcs

@@MrWeenyTV it does
your fault for not checking the specs before buying
That's not a bad drive. Either it was defective out of the factory, or there was some other issue.
Kind of a "blanket statement" there. The history of NAND Flash storage has been rid full of cheaper variant chipsets on lower end drives. Who knows? This might have been one of those drives.
@@pcmacrepairbytechsource1617 is this just advertisement for you
I mean really it’s not the company’s fault, it’s YOUR fault because you don’t know how to maintain it properly.
Exactly
Mine was 1300 doesn’t even work
Yea same
What you mean
I’ve had the same CyberPower PC for years, probably even since 1st/2nd grade, I think your system is just garbage.
Idk
Thats why i get prebiults so from them cause you acctually know what you're getting
You all know you can customize the order and choose what components you want before you check out right.
their custom configurator doesn't allow you to deep dive into specs. you're only focusing on the consumer basics like how much ram, what gen intel or amd cpu. what makes their company sustainable is that they put lower end power supplies, motherboards, ram, ssd's, etc. that's not to say they don't have decent spec'd computers but at the end of the day they gotta profit, otherwise why would someone buy from them and not just pick all the parts themselves and have someone put it together or put it together themselves?
no its cause u dont know what your doing or buying just customize it right...
I’ve had mine for 2 days and it won’t turn on put the cooling fans are spinning 🤦
Reset the bios, find the JBAT 1 pins and hold a coin in between them (touch the 2 pins) for 5 seconds. Unplug the PSU and wait 5 seconds and turn it on.
lol I think you just dont know how to use a computer i get more than 500 fps with mine
U sure you didn’t choose that
Client brought it in because it was failing to boot. Replaced the cheap Lexar M.2 with the much better Crucial drive and viola!
@@pcmacrepairbytechsource1617 so basically they guy purchased low end parts instead of choosing better parts before he checked out . I say it’s the guys fault for not customizing it the way he wanted not cyberpower
I don’t have problems with mine, only one I did which I did fix was the led lights dimming off, I fixed it by pushing the connectors in a bit because it’s taped with electric tape. I think you just got bad luck on this one sadly lol
I've had multiple clients bring in PC's built by this company which in essence is just a glorified PC building company. On parts most consumers don't look at or have knowledge of, they usually use cheaper parts or their entry level variants but with other "higher end" components. Most are paying attention to the CPU, GPU, and amount of RAM and that's pretty much it but most overlook the make and model of the motherboard, RAM, power supply, drives, etc.
@@pcmacrepairbytechsource1617 damn
I just got a cyber-powered PC and it works just fine. It's not the company's fault that you didn't check the specs
We’re you having a black screen?
No but I have seen this where a client brought in his in which no picture or a very unstable pixelated pictured would come thru. Turns out the PCIe bracket was absolutely destroyed by the weight and improper setting of the RTX and a power supply that just barely met the power requirements for all the components installed leaving the end user no room to add anything to their PC.
