    I knew I should’ve not sold my prebuilt ran amazing for almost 2 years and never had problems and I told myself I was selling it to upgrade to a $3K build with a 3090 and 5900x with 32gb ram and a better airflow, better case and motherboard. but I should have just upgraded it over time, as I worked more at my job and my side hustles. 😢 now I’m working for my own pc build but ima build my own the.

    Crazy I bought a cyber powered pc 3 years ago for 1200bucks and it runs red dead redemption on ultra settings with no fps drops I did have to download msi afterburner to cool down the nvidia 3600 but it works amazingly acually I’m so surprised at what it can do I even looked in my specs and the only thing that might need an upgrade is the cpu which normally only is at 47 percent so idk why I would upgrade it yet

    I just ordered my very first pc yesterday and it’ll be here tomorrow but it’s got a ryzen 9 7900x and a nvidia geforce rtx 4070 with only 16bg of ram so I ordered 2 16bg ram sticks to up it to 32bg of ram!! They will also be here tomorrow!! I also went ahead and ordered some high performance thermal paste cause it seems like the pc’s being built on CZcams these days aren’t using ANY thermal paste and that’s a big no no!! So just to be on the safe side I’m swapping the ram and pulling the cpu cooler off and throwing some thermal paste on it before I even plug it in for the first time

    I own one of those cyberpower pcs and you can use three channelmemory? Just use the three ram slots farthest away from the cpu. It's works perfectly, for example, when I installed my extra two sticks of ram, it worked. You should try it, it works of ou own one of these systems.

    • @TechRoundUp
      @TechRoundUp  Před 2 lety +2

      It of course depends on the system and the hardware, I would mainly wait on the PSU for a bigger upgrade to GPU or CPU when you may need more efficient power. But if you have the extra money a power supply upgrade could be a nice option for the efficiency savings

My specs:1660ti AMD Ryzen 5 3600x 16gb ram and just the normal fans with the cpu and with the case in general. its not as good as just having just 2 ram sticks cause if u have 3, the dual channel wont work and with it is how u get the most optimal performance. Also dont mix match rams cause this can cause issues to your pc.

      @austinboven7339 Před 2 lety

      @@AsmrDreamerzz I actually didn’t even upgrade the CPU because I would of had to change out the motherboard. I upgraded my ram to 16gb and upgraded my cpu cooler to something a little more reliable. With that, I’m able to play most triple A games with 60 fps steady, on high/max graphics settings. I was skeptical but am happy with my purchase. The one other thing I would recommend changing though is upgrading to a better thermal paste than the one you get with the PC.

      @k3i5ha73 Před 2 lety +2

      The performance of the computer will be better with the dual ram channel. At least the performance will increase by about 5%. Moreover, AAA games will require a lot of RAM.

    • @dallygeecee
      @dallygeecee Před 2 lety

      8GB will be enough for say a school computer, to do homework or research on and listen to some music. Yeah, some games will work as well. But you will quickly realize your memory will be maxing out pretty often with only 8GB.
