Finally got my 2019 upgraded to dual brake just like 2020 pro model, now I have more brake to handle the speed and down hills in San Francisco.
You still riding this in the city? I am thinking of getting one but our hills are crazy and streets are horrible.

@Apollo Scooters Thanks for the video. Will be very keen if you guys can look into a tyre upgrade option (Especially for wet weather and cornering), and of course a video on how to replace the tyres.
Hi Barry! Thanks for reaching out - we've been looking for tire upgrades but unfortunately the Mercane tire frame is very specific and tough to create a new tire mould. We're still working on it and will keep you posted when/if we do find a new replacement :-). Tire change video should be up in the next few weeks!
This definitely needs to happen. Aftermarket or factory. It really would make this the perfect scooter

Ciao Chris, I have got version 2019 that has a really poor dashboard, so, as the dashboard of 2020 and front fork isn't compatible or isn't so easy to adapt to the old version 2019, can you suggest an odometer / dashboard with an easier installation for the 2019? many thanx for your useful videos.

I am underwhelmend with my new Mercane Jubel - straight out of the box today and it won't go beyond 23kph, though bags of torque for climbing inclines a positive indication. My interstate supplier not responding to my messages. What to do? Then I see your video. I follow your simple directions and Eco mode now readily takes me to 25kph and Power mode up to 33kph. I can't that you enough for posting this info!
P3 is for changing between dual and single mode with the motors. You can have front or just back or both . That's it :)

P3 is to clear and reset the Odometer. To reset, engage a brake then hold the mode button.

I finally changed the settings now the bastard goes fast. I got up to 41km/hr which in my opinion is very fast. I don't advised any of u blokes to be driving this fast or else u could injure urself. I think 35km/hr is good enough for me. Drive safely ladies

The 2020 pro version with the better throttle is some real competition for the Zero 10!
To be honest this the best scooter I have ever had, the detail and build quality are beautiful.
And I am coming from the Zero 10.
Speedway mini 4 pro is better than both also the qiewa mini is better
@@demo6592 im trying to make a decision between the 2020 widewheel and the turbo wheel lightning which is almost identical to the 10x you just mentioned. Which is a better scooter and why ? I would like your opinion since you said your coming from a 10x .your prompt reply is very much appreciated , i wanna make the right decision .
The reason i ask you is because ive been watching both and cant make up my mind , the only thing about the 10x look alike is that its size , i dont care about the wieght really and the fact that the handle bars dont collapse , but i dont wanna pay $2200 for the version that does , $1690 is good enough for yhe first version, now about the 2020 wide wheel pro , i heard some people had fallen off at high speeds when the handle bar either came lose from bump vibrations and another that claimed it snapt on him , i surely do not want that, and last its brake issues , do you know anything about that? Does the widewheel really go 45mph and 30 miles range.thanks.

Honestly even the 2018 model will sell easily - just post it up in your local buy/sell market, and it'll go in no time ;-)!

Hi guys your video is awesome thank you for your hard work, I would like to know : I have the 2020 dual motor pro but it sadly is not legal in my city because of the power (only 500w or less is permitted) my question is, if I buy another front wheel without the motor would it work with my scooter? . thank you guys in advance!!!
Hi Irie, thanks for reaching out and thank you for the kind words, means the world! Technically yes, you can change off your front motor for a normal tire, your Mercane should work fine. When you're in Eco mode on your Mercane however, your nominal wattage isn't too much higher than 500W, so this shouldn't be too much of an issue (how are they enforcing this if you dont mind me asking?). i just unpacked mine last week. Before I took it out for a spin i wondered how fast it will go. I put in on top of a box off the ground and full throttled. I realized in all modes the back tire only went, is that suppose to do that or are front and back suppose to go at the same time????????????. Amazing scooter tho, ton of power, love it after 3 days of use so far. Thanks

How fast is this scooter in both Eco and Power mode for both Normal and Ludicrous mode in KPH? I keep seeing different answers online...
I am getting in eco 31-33 km/h and in power mode 41 to 46 km/h. And range from 35 to 42 km I am getting

Hi there - thanks for reaching out! Ludicrous mode stays on even if you power off the scooter. It does reset once you go below a certain battery level however (less than 30-40%), so you may need to redo this process from time to time! Hope this helps :-)

I have unlocked ludicrous mode but it won’t go faster than 33km/h on flat surface... when I go down hill it struggles hitting 37+... it is fully charged as well. Does it affect if u r heavier?
It shouldn't affect by 12km/h.. Are you sure you're in Ludicrous + Power mode?
- Push the middle button only for 2s, when flashing, click until one red and two white
+
- Pull the brake, push middle button and accelerator all the way all together for 2s, the click until you have one red only
This should get you in Power mode + Ludicrous mode (what I think you're in in Ludicrous mode, but not power mode). Try it and let me know :-)
P3 is to clear and reset the Odometer. To reset, engage a brake then hold the mode button. My wheel diameter was wrong out of the factory so after my first ride my distance readings were all wrong so a reset was necessary. I've got the new 2020 model without the key start... disappointed that Mercane would do this to their early adopters. Also, have they changed the brake callipers on the new key start models??? If so are they an upgrade??? I just saw the CLE version and he had black brake callipers. Enjoying all the Mercane vids Apollo, keep up the great work!

Thank you K for your feedback - couldn't figure out the P3 anywhere, appreciate the help :-).
We also had the wrong wheel diameters out of the box (came at -11), hence we were shocked seeing the 50km/h speed (which was in fact a false reading as well, at 42km/h on -8).
If you're seeing black callipers, these depend on which supplier and in our case are an upgraded hydraulic brake that we offer. Of course, it comes at a higher price, but the braking is incredible for people looking for that additional braking power and comfort!
For the Key, unfortunately this is the supplier decision (you can buy the non-key or with key from Mercane) - we opted for the key as most customer feedback was around the key - sorry to hear about yours!

Hi Tomsemble - the top speed ranges from 40-45kmh/, depending on the conditions (weight, weather, temperature etc). Is your wheel diameter set to -8, fully charged? Again, its up to 45km/h and in ideal conditions!
Does it come with Key start? are the Calipers Black?

Was wanting to save for this I have a good entry NOW at 30 on but need faster and ALWAYS wanted this and being Canadian why not but I'd want the diff throttle you offer and...also the hydraulic brakes what's the extra costs for that ?? Hi kOZ - thanks for your comment! We disliked the 2020 Pro throttle and now manufacture a new throttle that has a much larger oscillating range, allowing riders to precisely control their speed (the old throttle was very hard to choose your speed). We offer it as an upgrade for $125 with installation or $60 without installation.
For the key start function, this is correct - the 2020 Pro comes with a key start. The Pro 2020 we had in our review video didn't have a key start as it was one of the first Pro's sent out to dealers. All new Pro's have a key start :-).

I bought one of these bastard yesterday. On power mode I can only get up to 23km/hr which in my opinion is very slow. I will try to change the settings like u did on my day off. I just hope it bloody works, I paid a fortune for this bastard
