  • Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has unveiled six key pledges, which he said will form the first steps towards Labour policy in government. The announcement comes after Prime Minister Rishi Sunak outlined his five main targets last January.
    However, when we asked the public to differentiate between Labour and Conservative pledges, the majority couldn't. Kate Garraway and Rob Rinder question why this is to Shadow Science Secretary Peter Kyle.

      If ideology isn't a part of the labour leaderships MO, then why should they protect our rights if they stand in the way of GDP growth?
      The line of questioning was bizarre at all. Its bizarre that you think politicians don't need morals to do their job.

    • @Joe22245
      @Joe22245 Pƙed 15 dny +5

      This line of questioning exposes the fact that there is no distinction between the two major parties: they echo the same positions on any given issue while citing their only measurable difference as "competence". It is not pragmatic to state that you hold no ideological position. All this does is further expose the fact that The Labour Party's only goal is power, at the expense of sacrificing every principle the party once stood for. For whatever reason, it is also exactly the kind of neo-liberal fence-sitting that is viewed as successful political strategy in this demented excuse for a country.
