    Julia is a great addition here.
    So much better doing this than when she's with the BarDown children.

      Not on this level.
      Robertson was always undersized.

    The game that broke the point streak in the playoffs was also his only playoff game without a point.

    the way cowsy looks in juniors is what mitch is supposed to look like in NHL getting paid 10.9 big smackers yearly

    I’ll take anything at this point. Cowan for mvp, let’s gooooo. (Also, let’s trade marner for a top 10 and get this rebuild on the fly started)

      Marner, Slav, and Suzuki could be haunting the Leafs for years, and their looking for a legit top line player, and they've got lots of right shot defensive prospects, and a top 5 pick.

    If the NHL were to revert to its older rules, players like Cowan, Ovechkin, Matthews, and others might find it more challenging to maintain their scoring prowess, facing increased physicality and the potential for more injuries. They likely wouldn't amass the same staggering goal totals of 50, 60, or 70 goals as they do in the modern game. Comparisons to past eras, such as when Gretzky dominated, would likely shift the narrative, prompting discussions on how their skills and achievements measure up in different playing environments. The game is watered down.

      I'd love for the old players to catch Mackinnon or McDavid. They would have 400+ point seasons easy.

      @@Katie-hb8iq That wouldn't be hard to do.

    The Leafs should be begging Dale Hunter to coach them but I think after Mark walked away they have no chance of getting him even if they could swallow their ego and ask. London has sent more players to the NHL than anybody in hockey anywhere in the hockey world. That is not a coincidence folks.

    Marner + Cowan for Bedard

    • @Smf7161
      @Smf7161 Před 2 měsíci +1

      Bedard, has no defensive skills at all! Only focused on scoring. Not a complete 200 foot player, like Papi#34!

    • @jason893
      @jason893 Před 2 měsíci

      No thanks. I know Bedard is highly skilled but lets see what happens to him in the playoffs. I could be proven wrong but I believe he is going to be man handled hard in the playoffs. The Hawks better get a goon to protect him.

    Too bad that he is a Leaf possession, the Leaf's will find a way to screw him up, like they screwed up Potvin.

    • @jason893
      @jason893 Před 2 měsíci

      Pssst - The management group that had Potvin under them is not the same group 30 years later. Just say'in.

    • @clifflayne9073
      @clifflayne9073 Před 2 měsíci

      @@jason893 : and the management group that ruined Potvin's career is not the same management group that won the cup 57 years ago. Bad decisions are bad decisions, no matter who makes them. The Shanahan plan has NOT worked and changing the coach wasn't the answer. Shanahan failed and yet is the only one who has not suffered any just rewards.
