I was wondering how you were doing and if this would affect you, Jewels. I hope things settle down or that everyone affected stays safe.
I was there on Sunday! We had no activity when I was there but parts were roped off (anything near rocks) as a precaution. Tours started closing Monday, which likely put more pressure the resort. Glad they closed it for now, and glad I got safely in and out on Sunday

Oh man that's crazy. We've been hearing about the volcanic possibilities in Iceland lately. I hope it settles down without erupting.
I hope that the volcano calms down again or at least directs any lava away from the town and the powerplant. Stay safe Iceland.

The earthquakes sound scary. I hope everyone will be OK. Honestly, when I first saw the thumbnail I thought it was going to be that someone got an infection and it spread through the water, and I'm kind of relieved it wasn't something like that. But an earthquake is very serious, so I hope nobody gets hurt.

How about thousands of earthquakes. There are so many that the people in the nearest town feel seasick much of the time.
Earthquakes is one thing, but I hope that the village of Grindavík survives and doesn't get a vulcanic eruption in the middle of it or near enough to damage it too much.
While the population is small it's still about 1% of Icelands population.
Everyone (and their pets) are safe, but it would be tough for such a small country if such a large portion of it became homeless overnight.
Icelandic folks are tough. They will be fine. By the way - You have very pretty eyes.

I was considering visiting Iceland 🇮🇸 in December. Due to current volcanic activity, would you recommend waiting or is it fine to travel. I want to ensure that a lot of tourist attractions and sites are still open for visitors to make it worth my while.

Hey! How is everything on the ground in Iceland?
I was watching telly yesterday where they were interviewing the Lord Mayor. During the interview, there was an earthquake! The Lord Mayor if Grindavik took it well, while the reporter said that the quakes were proof, the reports were true!😅😅😅😅 Then they went on with the interview like an S5 hadn't hit them, and the crockery wasn't rattling!😂😂😂😂

I’m glad you’re still going to visit Iceland despite the earthquakes. I was there in early October and I visited the Secret Lagoon in Fludir (the d is actually the letter, “eyeth,” but I can’t make my keyboard do that letter :/). It’s about an hour and a half away from Reykjavik and you need a car, but I had a nice time. There’s even a cool small geyser that goes off occasionally while you’re soaking! There are also a few other nice hot springs to soak in around Reykjavik too.
I am hearing that roads are being uprooted and additional eruptions. What is going on now? I am concerned about Icelandic people.🥺
