Those grips look thin and I haven't seen those before . The barrel length would be good. Do Taurus still have locks on their revolvers? My 605 was on the hammer , but I've had it for a few years
That thing is crying out for a T grip. The most surprising things to me about 9mm revolvers is how stout the recoil is. On a standard automatic, a 9mm had recoil but it isn't that bad because the slide and spring absorb the energy. A wheelgun has no such benefit, so all the energy goes into your handb and feels much closer in recoil to a .357 than a .38.
I have been looking at these. Sometimes it's hard to come by .38 and 9mm is cheap to shoot. I saw Charter Arms has the "Pitbull" model revolver in 9mm but also has 4 and 6 inch barrels. Have you had any experience with Charter arms revolvers?
I owned a Charter Arms Pathfinder back around 1978. Complete piece of junk. Sent it back to the factory 3 times in less than a year. Timing issues. Got rid of it and bought a S&W that I still have and it still works. I`ve heard that Charter Arms quality has gotten better, but I`ve never messed around with them since then.
@@1957Shep DUH!!! REALLY? Maybe because they’re pointless and a waste of time to have when there’s 6 shot revolvers chambered in something that you can fire more than just a 38 special and a couple other 38 calibers through!
@@ThisShitDontFlush The point of small frame revolvers is that they are easier to carry and conceal than larger guns. If I`m out in the woods or at the range I much prefer the larger K Frame S&Ws. Every type of gun has their advantages and disadvantages depending on your intended use. Everything is a trade off.
Cool ! Thanks !
Thanks for watching.
I been curious about those since I first saw one online awhile ago, never seen one in a video until now.
Not a bad gun. But the S&W J Frames are better, and only a little more expensive.
Definitely some SKINNY grips! Bet the trigger would be more manageable with something more to hold onto…..
.
Great video 💯👍🏻
The trigger pull is heavy (common complaint with Taurus revolvers) and having such a narrow trigger makes it feel even heavier.
@@1957Shep right
Nice one...=)
Thanks 😀

Yes, they still have the locks. But like the useless locks on the S&Ws, I doubt anyone actually uses the lock.
Hi Shep i I can't understand why 5 shots , and not 6 or eight , give me a 8 shot ruger 357/38 redhawk anyday
All about size. This is roughly the size of a J Frame S&W. Not big enough for a 6 shot unless you go a for a smaller caliber.

The bore axis on a typical revolver is higher than on the typical auto. Doesn`t change the actual recoil, but does increase muzzle flip.

@@1957Shep Sounds like the Taurus may be the way to go.
Awesome review you have my sub 🫡
Thanks
5 shot! Pointless for these!
Revolvers this size are not big enough for more than a 5 shot cylinder unless you reduce the caliber down to a 32.
@@1957Shep 5 shot revolvers of any size are pointless, they’re Fucking pointless!
@@ThisShitDontFlush Simple solution for that if you have that opinion. don`t own one.
