I tried VZ Operator II grips, they look cool but not much fun to shoot after 50 rounds. Found some of the rubber taurus 85 grips, those work best for me. good to see your video, i haven't seen anyone with the 3 inch 905 until now@@1957Shep
Thanks for showing that one. Seems like a nice little pistol, and like you said 9MM is inexpensive compared to a lot of pistol calibers. That means more practice with it. Thanks again for showing it.
I used to own an Alpha Proj 9mm revolver that used moon clips, and you're correct, using the moon clips is pretty well as fast as using 'speed loaders'. Good shooting fun with those, I thought.
I am considering getting one because how common 9mm ammo is. It's an election year and if we have another ammo shortage 9mm is a lot easier than .38 special to find.
@@1957Shep If you can find primers, it ends up costing as much or more to reload. Only worth it for specialized loads these days. I do reload .410 shells to get bismuth non-toxic hunting loads.
I've got the same revolver except I have a full hammer. I think you'll need the hammer if you want to shoot single action. The double action trigger is long and stiff. Good news: I no longer have to use moonclips. The shells fall out by themselves. Just make sure you clean and lube the revolver after each trip to the range.
Yes. It can be fired without the moon clips. But you would have to use a rod to poke the empty brass out of the chambers after firing. Without the moon clips there is nothing for the ejector to engage with.
At first I had to use a rod to poke out the shells. After frequent cleaning and lubing, the empty brass falls out by themselves, so I no longer use the moonclips. It's no my edc because I have a pistol chambered in 9mm that is a few ounces lighter. Despite the pistol being lighter, I shoot it better than I shoot the revolver. I think it's because the felt recoil is heavier on the revolver and the trigger is a lot heavier. The magazine capacity is also a lot better than 5 rounds out of this revolver.
I've had one of these for a few months, wasn't fond of the grips but fortunately 856 grips fit w/o issue.
The grips could be better.

Thanks for taking time to watch.
Cool to see. I saw those online and thought they looked interesting, but never saw anyone on CZcams with one.
Local gun shop had this one with a pretty good sale price.

Seems like a decent little revolver. But the trigger pull is kind of heavy.

I used to say "Start reloading your own ammo", but these days it`s hard to find primers.

That is my only real complaint about this gun. It could use a better trigger.
Can the trigger be replaced with a lighter trigger pull? It's crazy heavy!
Haven't seen that one before, and with a longer barrel. I've seen rugers lcp and sp101 but they usually snub nose. How heavy is the trigger?
The trigger is about 13 or 14 pounds. But it feels heavier because the trigger is more narrow than on most DA revolvers.
Can the firing pin reach the primer enough to fire even without moon clips?
