- The plaintiff says the defendant was dating a friend of hers, and they were planning on getting married in Atlanta. Unfortunately, the plaintiff's friend passed away, and the defendant stole the money the plaintiff's friend gave her to fly to Atlanta for the wedding. The plaintiff is suing for the cash she is owed. The defendant claims her deceased partner charged the plane tickets to his credit card, and the plaintiff agreed to pay him back

The account wasn’t in the deceased name, no one contacted them to notify them he passed and wanted a refund. Notification and options are discussed before the cancellation occurs anyways, so this woman cancelled 100%

The Plaintiff stated she partially paid $300 for tickers that were $980. That's not including the boyfriend's mother. Also, she never provided proof she paid anything.

Agreed. I was trying to play devils advocate and overlook some of her previous statements, but the interview at the end really sealed the deal on what kind of person she is. I would be so heartbroken that I wouldn't even be able to deal, let alone worry about a freaking limo 🙄

Apparently, the deceased didn't have a good relationship w/ his Mom or family, you can tell that this started long before his passing. And question is: If the tickets were originally purchased by him thru his fiancé's (defendant) Jet Blue account- for the purpose of flying to the wedding- which wasn't gonna take place NOW- didn't she have a right to cancel the tix??? I'm confused? Did the Aunt think that she was entitled to a FREE trip? LOL
