Petr Cech for me aswell Fozzy, i remember being in prague in 2004 right before the Euro's and the whole Czech team walked past us into a gala, cech, repka, nedved, baros the lot of em, Turned out to be an end of season reward ceremony and after about an hour or so, Petr and his wife came out holding his award and done an interview right next to us, we congratulated him not really knowing who he was tbh and he thanked us and we wished him the best, Cut to a few months later and he has signed for Chelsea, the rest is history.

Paolo Maldini but Ash Cole was a monster in his peak.
Maldini was at a higher level, but Cole more rounded as a full back going forwards as well. Wouldn't argue with either because it's about style preference really

I believe that Ashley Cole is a multi generational player. Meaning he will thrive whether he plays in this era or the previous. Dennis is great and very successful but in terms of overall talent, Ashley Cole is the most talented. And we should also look at it in a perspective of, if he were to play in a less successful team, will he still be good. The GOAT Alex Ferguson made John OâShea look good so anything is possible đ..
It doesnât matter if the goals or assists ratio isnât far impressive compared to other LB like Roberto Carlos, Marcelo etcâŠno LB in football history has/had the defensive prowess that Ashley Cole possessed, almost no one could get past him in his prime

Rio, Terry & Cole my 3. Petr Cech is quality however Peter Schmeichel , Edwin van der Sar, and probably David Seaman people would say their number one, goalkeeper first before Petr Äech.
Irwin for me, two footed, always put a shift in and just got on with it with no drama, he could hit a ball as well

Don't get the longevity argument about Cole over Roberto Carlos - Carlos played over 1000 games, 250+ more than Cole. Carlos is easily the most iconic LB ever. Also, winning the World Cup goes a long way.

Dennis Irwin was the best fullback the premier league has seen. Either Left or Right back. Untouchable. If in doubt ask Alan Hansen or Roy Keane. They have a bit more football knowledge than most.
