Cerave lotion moisturizer made me break out SO FCKING BAD, and my skin was already pretty much in a good state: I had just got rid of most of my acne, only hyperpigmentation to remove... I used the lotion for barely 1 week and my acne got even WORSE than one year before using it. And now (that has happened one month ago), I still have tons of whiteheads and huge scars super hard to get rid of on my cheeks

@@BauerBeauty it was a journey. I used glycolic acid, started double cleansing and all, just to have my skin barrier effed up after maybe 1 month of using them. Then I started to minimize my skincare routine. Rn I only wash with water in a.m, then directly SPF; I still double cleanse in the evening but with a super gentle cleanser instead of the glycolic one, then started using LRP Cicaplast balm (since I started differin at that time too) Now (it's been 3 months since the huge breakout) my skin has smh got back to it's state from before using the CeraVe cream
Cerave foaming facial cleanser literally destroyed my face, I got tons of acnes and I don't know how to recover from this, I got confidence issues this is the first time in my life I felt so insecure about my skin, and if you haven't noticed, cerave foaming has almost no positive review here on CZcams, all of them is just recommendation they are not actually using it. I wish my face could recover fast
Apparently the combination of Cetearyl Alcohol and Ceteareth-20 in CeraVe moisturisers makes a very strong comedogenic that can cause zits for some people (like me). I used the lotion for years, never seemed to be an issue. Switched to the cream and ended up with closed comedomes all around my T-zone. Makes me wonder if the lotion was causing low level inflammation for me too. Quite a few people on reddit have had the same experience. As you say though, we're the exception that proves the rule.
I guess the hydrating clenser was not the best choice for me , since i have oily skin, and it kinda felt pore clogging, like a weird texture when i put it on...so i'm definitely gonna go for a more appropriate one, it destroyed my skin .
I had fooking acne for like 10 years and tried everything. Spend like 10k atleast on expensive treatments and products.. Cerave acne cleanser and Cerave AM , PM moisturizer literally saved my skin.
I used the cera ve oily skin gel moussant cleanser and it destroyed my skin completely idk what ingredient caused it . But at the same time I also used la roche posay 50 spf sunscreen and the garnier 3 in 1 30x serum so idk what ingredient caused it. But I also found one ingredient that’s common and its niacinamide
Its been a month since i started using it and my skin has rash and pimple all over my right side of face,my skin was perfect now i feel like killing myself 😭😭😭

If it’s from the product you just stop using the product and all you products besides a different cleanser and moisturizer and you should recover

Cetaphil made me brake out in hives and my eyelids were swollen. Idk what is best for them peoples skin but I know cerave helped me after this
One of the worst brands - i got whiteheads after 3 days patch testing. Horrible.

Yeah true cerave cream to foam was my girl once I got fungal acne though I had to leave her alone

It’s a mess. Niacinamide is all the hype now and it destroys my skin also. It’s difficult to find products without it
