I know the Cinderella gown was like THEE challenge of all time, but I think a challenge that would be as hard to recreate would be the iconic green dress that Keira Knightley wore in “Atonement”. I think if anyone could recreate the soft flow of the dress and its one of a kind green color, it would be you.
I’ve seen tons of videos of people trying to replicate it, but it’s never quite right.
So much respect for your persistence on getting that apron right! It’s a shame you can’t just rip out the mistakes like with seams, but all those attempts also seemed to push you closer to the ideal look
The embroidery looks so beautiful, all the hassle was worth it! I thought I'd like the work apron more, but the embroidered one is really something else. Side note, your hair looks so pretty!
Her hair does look so good in this relaxed wave style. Sometimes when she does curling iron curls, they look too stylized for her face.

So i tried to do the headband thing...but it just didn't look that great! 😬 So I opted to not do that! :)

The work apron would have been " homespun". A looser weave of material for peasants. You do extraordinary work. Just beautiful.

I do not know how I got to this channel however, I’m sooo glad I did. INSTANTLY subscribed.
I feel less crazy having redone most of the steps in my last project twice each (do a seam, rip it out, install a zipper, rip it out), so I could get a final product I'd actually wear, when you went through all this for your embroidery. And this was after trying to get them right the first time so I didn't have to seam rip and start again, lol.
You did such a wonderful job on both aprons and the dress! Beautiful!

Oh my goodness. Welcome to my personal hell of machine embroidery. I spent four months machine embroidering individual bath towel sets for family for Christmas presents. Too expensive to just try again from scratch each time. I spent SO many hours meticulously picking out wrong or tangled stitches...
Loved the aprons. I think the failed attemps will do a nice blouse or dress...I think it could be a good idea for a video, maybe?

Wow what a pain with all those embroidery snafus! It turned out beautiful in the end, though. I'm curious, is there any way to reuse the better parts of the embroidery fails for something else, or do you just have to trash them?
Good idea to reuse the practice pieces. Maybe a special Cinderella cushion?

Hahahaha definitely feel this one i have 5 attempts making sofisa the first face and the 5 attempt was much nicer and aand little accurate but for now i will not going to be making another one

Does anyone know anything about the satin ballerina flats that Lily James wears throughout the movie? If I type in anything about cinderellas shoes, it just brings up the glass slippers.
So I just found some old flats I had and painted them the right blue color! I did this because I couldn’t find any options online that were like hers!
