Hi I was born and raised in New York City, my grandmother lived in an apartment on the corner of spring and mulberry Street for 60 years. So I would say I'm a little bit of an authority on pizza. She used to send us down the street to Lombardi's to get a large pizza and she used to give me $2 and I remember getting $0.15 in change.and I also remember the pizza being huge maybe because I was a little kid. And Lombardi's was not where it is now. It was on Spring St close to Lafayette St. But that being said I have to tell you a story. I was just in Alona Beach Bohol Philippines. I stayed at a resort there and I asked the manager if there was any place to get decent Pizza. He said yes just ask the tuk tuk a driver to take you to Giuseppe's. So we did. And I have to tell you I bit in to the best pizza I've eaten in 50 years. Can you imagine in the Philippines. And I also have to tell you the Zuppa di Pesce was outstanding. My party of five and I had two large pizzas, two roasted chickens and the Zuppa di Pesce, and soft drinks. And the bill was under $40. Forget about the price the point of my story is the pizza was phenomenal. I would never have expected that in the Philippines in a million years. So cupofTJ next time you're in Bohol you must go. I promise you will be amazed.

You must try Grimaldi's pizza. It has amazing oven brick thin slice pizzas. The thing is they only sell by the pie. My favorite spot.

Joe's is my favourite in Manhattan but if you do a Brooklyn pizza crawl video - that's a whole other ballgame. Try Di Fara but expect to wait a long time (and not be disappointed).

Grimaldi in Brooklyn is good if you want to venture out of manhattan also rosa in maspeth they make a good sicilian slice then there Nick's in forest hills and basil in astoria

There are too many places in NYC for great pizza. It really all depends on your taste preference. I could name a dozen places you could have gone. Lombardi’s being one of them. Nice vid!! 👍🏻

Hey, this is your first pizza run?Welcome! try Brooklyn or staten island next time! Pizza in NYC could be a mini series, there is just too much good pizza everywhere, it’s like wine, there’s so many varieties and everyone has their opinion, just yelp and go find what you like! But when you get some time, spend some time on pizza in the boroughs (it really is better 😀), then move on to bagels, another NYC thing New Yorkers love to argue about! Have fun!
You should check out Sacco Pizza. They have slices 😋

Thick crust fills you up fast & IF you eat to much to often it will fill you out at the waist and or the hips!!!!
