Heart of Dinner combats food insecurity and isolation within NYC's elderly Asian American community. We deliver love and care by way of weekly hot lunches, fresh produce, and bulk ingredients, all while supporting local small businesses. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, all donations are tax deductible. Link above to donate!
Today we visit our favorite Flushing to eat at the New York Food Court, filled with stalls and stalls of Asian food! This is a smaller, lesser known one compared to New World Mall food court on Main St but has just enough Chinese food varieties!

Protect and love our elders - my new favourite phrase of the year!
Wish you and Mike Chen could have filmed together when he was in New York.
Ty for supporting our people!! I really appreciate all my fav Asian you tubers giving extra attention to the Asian hate crimes during this time! I am Chinese -American as are my children, and within the last 2 years we have faced attacks in our neighborhood of Forest Hill's.
I hope you and your family stay safe out there.đđ»
I pray that you stay safe and that the universe protects you at all costs. We need all rays of sunshine such as yourself in this world đđœđđœâš
Thanks for the great video, and your PSA on âProtecting our eldersâ specially in times like these.
Although it was sad to see the Golden Shopping Mall close, there are a couple of large food halls that have opened since, Flushing is always changing. Sending love and respect to Asian people everywhere!!!!
thank you sister for protecting and helping our elders!! and keep up the Chinatown eats!

She is so fun to watch...you go girl đđđ
Everything looks amazing! Wish I can try Chinese food in New York. Love your commentary on each food item. Youâre so entertaining đ
A Macaroni, a Penne and a Spaghetti were drinking wine in a bar one evening. They saw a noodle sitting by himself and discussed inviting him to join them.
They all agreed he looked Cannelloni.
#Phenomenal
Absolutely love your stage presence.
APPRECIATE YA ARTIE
the tofu-like squares in the Xi'anese Liangpi are glutten squares. đ€€

Yessss. New TJ videos make me happy.
That is a really cool place , awesome that you are sponsoring this organization. Sadly ,we will be judged by how we treat our elders and our children .
Wow those pastries at the end, that is next level stuff there. All this in ONE food court, I am amazed.

Your singing never fails to amaze me! âđđ„ą đ±
Iâm dying for some stinky tofu and that meat cake at the end looks awesome. In Bklyn so canât get to Queens until the pandemic is over but for sure Iâll get to that food court ASAP. Love the video and the shout out to Stop Asian Hate. Thanks!
Same!! This stinky tofu was so legit!! Yes
@@CupofTJ I thought you were saying sticky tofu and I couldn't understand how it's sticky because it didn't look sticky
I went there last year, one of the best food courts ever! The selection of food is amazing and was excited because thereâs happy lemon. The meat buns look soo good!
I love eating soup dumplings like that, for me you get the best experience by putting the whole thing in your mouth and having burst.
wait... there's a bunch of food stalls in a food court!!! đ Oh TJ, to adorable
I eat there all the time. The Lanzhou hand pulled noodles are the bomb
The last stall is one of my favorites in Flushing, next time, their pork belly with tofu skins and scallion pancake beef rolls are amazing.
That sounds amazing!!! I gotta try next time!!

When I heard you will be uploading a video today I was so happy! It's been a while... I hope you're doing fine. Everything looks so delicious as always, I wish we could have this variety of culture and food in my hometown, it seems to fulfill your heart and soul. Also I hope that these awful things that are happening stop, you guys have my support. Lots of positive energy and love from Mexico.
Ty Mel for the love
TJ is getting Chubby love it
Sheâs wearing a sweater...did you really need to say that? đ§
This is my favorite of all the food courts!!! I found it totally by accident a few years ago when I went into flushing....just to shop for an afternoon!! I actually walked in just looking for a bathroom and found this amazing place! Itâs kinda hard to order at some of the stalls because I canât read Chinese but I was able to find many tasty things! Now every time I visit New York I come here....and now I always stay in Flushing Chinatown too, itâs such an awesome place!! Thanks for the video, now I can try some new things on my next trip....once Covid had calmed down! Keep up the awesome videos!
Finally uploaded new video, been looking forward to your food trip ;)
You could also try the food court in Korea Town in Manhattan, really good. Flushing is a great spot though, food is usually reasonably priced.
Loving your reviews. You show things I would never think to try and make them look soo good!
10:53 âhuh huh huhâ đ
You resemble my cousin. đ Thank you for the review. I am heading there tomorrow for the pork chop combo meal or whatever. đ
The tofu like things in the Liang Pi are wheat gluten. Liang Pi seems like a simple dish but it is actually quite complex to make. The noodles are actually made from The Leftover wheat starches that are produced when making wheat gluten.
The wheat gluten is the proteins from the wheat flour.
In the process of making the liang pi you have to make a dough, then wash the do to separate the wheat proteins from the starches. The noodles are made by steaming the starches, which is an arduous process as well
So, this very seemingly humble and simple dish actually requires quite a great deal of effort, time, and skill
I love your videos and I bought a T-shirt from you and everyone loves it and thinks its funny :D
All of Those food looks really Delicious

When I was in Taiwan, I learned to say "buyao xiang cai" when I order at restaurants there.
Dear CupofTJ, Iâm Doug from Charlotte NC just found your site and it put me in a great mood, could not stop laughing at some of your antics... Iâm working on setting up my own Chanel starting first in the USA... would love to travel to Vietnam for about three months stating that in 2022.. I taught Culinary Arts in the largest high school in NC and took my students to NYC and exposed them to China Town and little Italy but I really enjoyed your visit of the food court and when things settle down some more go back up for a by myself or a small group of friends and pig out... would be interested to talk some time to bout some places you like but again loved your video... Doug

Excellent video on a under the radar food court! Try the Wenzhou stall (might be called Golden Corner), Spare ribs noodle soup, Fried crispy pork belly, ban mian (vinegary noodles) and pigs ear with chinese celery.
