  • In this video I give a full in depth tour of 4 different vehicles as part 2 of 4 of my new video series of back lot dealership start ups: a Volvo S80, Cadillac Deville, Ford Windstar, and a pontiac Grand Am SE V6. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of these cars while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicles themselves. I also show the engines and the details of them, start them up and see how they sound under acceleration. Visit Monroe Motor Company's Website if you want to inquire about purchase prices of these vehicles

    My dream car never ceases to amaze me, nice work Grand Am!! After being abandoned and drenched BADLY in water for who knows how long, you can't kill them! They easily go beyond 300,000 - 400,000 miles, can take a hit, pack a punch, reliable, tough, easy/inexpensive to fix, have AMAZING stereos, and are QUITE fast! Kyle thought there were extra speakers in the trunk, that's how good a 14 (almost 15) year old car was and still strongly is. Oh, and the steering wheel controls were most likely damaged due to someone having their cigarette too close, P.S. I LOVE the Grand Ams!!!!! :D (And Kyle, WHERE ARE YOU??! I'd LOVE to visit this backyard lot!)

So, just to provide support, I'm subscribed to you for a reason, Kyle, and I like the "little things", like the gas cap opening, dry steering, revving, horn honking, and button pushing. Why are so many cars in the back yard with so little miles? They have a lot of life left I think! Especially the Grand AM. P.s. if the water getting in is the same problem as Buick Century, I think it's because the drains are either clogged or the rubber strip above where the cabin air filter sits is missing/fallen off and needs to be glued on.

    @randomrazr I believe its a combination of Vehicle Age, the Chemical makeup of the paint and clearcoat, and if it was taken care of properly.

    Why was the seatbelt wrapped around the steering wheel on the Windstar?
    Talk about back seat driver in the Caddy! Think it may be time to charge the jumper battery, though.

      +usernamelane1986 Lots of videos like these, his booster is dead and if it's not, he doesn't give it time for the other battery to get a little charge in it.

      @joyride2013 Před 8 lety

      +Aaron Ries You don't need to wait for a booster to charge the battery. You just hook it up and it acts as the battery if the one in the car is dead.

      Those jumpers aren't the right gauge to supply that amount of power though are they? They look like standard jumper cables from Wal-Mart

      Aaron Ries If something is labeled a "boost box", it has all the proper hardware to provide enough power to start a car. I'm not sure about the contraption that he's using here though.

    My dad used to have a cadillac deville the same year as this one then it would not start anymore so he bought a 2004

    1:48 I previously had a 98 Cadillac deville, which was in great shape, guy who owned it before treated it as a luxury car, only drove it on weekends. Before I traded it in for a new vehicle, it had a little over 85k. It was very nice, my favorite thing was that smooth ride. Never had driven a car so smooth.

    @randomrazr Actually, that caddy just needs a Wash, because its painted with an early 2000s version of GM's White Diamond Tri-Coat Paint.

    Why was the Grand Am sitting? It started right up, sounded good when you revved it, so I'm curious. Did the transmission go, or was the undercarriage rusted out (the water on the floor)?

    Could you track down a 2000 Windstar SEL? I'd love to see a review on one because my grandfather used to have one about 10 years ago. It'd bring back a lot of memories... Thanks.
