I have to agree. I've never thought I'd say this, but 2010 certainly was a better time to be alive. Hell, the early 2010's in general were better than today. Specifically 2010 to 2013. The economy was better (even tho this was right after the 2008 financial crisis). Social media wasn't as destructive as it is today. Life overall was much more chill and relaxed. Politics hadn't completely taken over peoples lives. People were less fearful and neurotic. I miss how laid back and sane life was back then. There was no Covid hysteria, no race politics, no social media influencers, we had a better economy and the future looked promising.
We actually have the 2004 Pacifica, and surprisingly, they didn't have different trims for 2004. Most 2004's were fully loaded, which is why we have a nav system reflected from the top of the dash onto the speedo, a 6 CD/DVD in-dash changer, a third row seat, memory seats, heated seats (1st & 2nd rows), leather, etc...
Every time I think of the Chrysler Pacifica, it always reminds me of the current gen, which is the minivan. Some people probably don’t know before that the Pacifica was a SUV in the good old 2000’s.
My dad has a 2010 fully speced Mitsubishi Lancer evolution with all the add-owns. He has owned the car since new and has not had a single problem with it!

for some advise on that ford diesel. you should get a block heater on that thing because in the winter when it's really cold diesels don't tend to start
That knock on the grand prix isn't a knock and it isn't bad. It's called piston slap and it's characteristic to many GM V6's like the 3100, 3400, and 3800 V6. The piston's are aluminum so they expand when they warm up and the excess clearance is filled in so the slap goes away. Some say using synthetic 5W-30 helps quiet the noise while cold.
i have a 2000 GP with over 100k miles, with the same 3.8 V6 and it runs great as u said just maintain it and it will run for ever i really like these cold start vids

The Pontiac is in marvolous condition!!! Most people throw money away on a perfecty good car just because of the lack of knowledge of how to properly restore it to the original state!!! Gotta love GMs reliable engines and trasmissions!!!!!
That is a lot of dealership cars, I’m a big fan of BMW, Lexus, Audi, Ford, Volvo, Chevrolet, Dodge, Jeep, Toyota, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, Mazda, GMC, Nissan, Jaguar, Infiniti, Buick, Subaru, Volkswagen, Maserati, Chrysler, Lincoln, Pontiac, Honda, Acura, Cadillac, and Kia cars.
@saabkyle04 my dad's Villager minivan used to not be used a lot before we got it, so there it sat, used three times a week. It went through rainstorms and winters, not a single spec of rust. That's why I love the south! :D
Jeep is owned by chrysler, and chrysler owns Dodge Chrysler and Jeep, and this generation of Chrysler Vehicles used that startup chime, my parents 05 Town and Country has the same chime.
I had a hard time with that one. Just from personal experience I put GM before Ford. I currently have a 2012 Toyota Sienna and a 2010 Buick Enclave. You can't go wrong with Toyota or Buick. They're bulletproof. I have a friend with over 300,000 miles on her Buick.
@Motorfordtoyota 1998-1999 Durango's are usually very reliable. The 5.2 and 5.9 V-8's go forever. The 4.7 V-8 that came out in 2000 is terrible though.
Thanks for the vid, i really enjoy youre vids!! Also i would like to mention that my grandfather has had 3 vehicles with the 3.8l v6 and you are CORRECT! They are indestructable and extremely reliable, both sold with 300k!! My fathers favourite V6 and yes he is a GM Mechanic lol
@wranglersnmt Never heard of a single issue with the 4.7. A lot of horror stories of any car come from people that rag them and don't maintain them and then get mad when they fail.
@wranglersnmt I'm just one to go on personal experience. Not ad's. Who know's how those were treated. I've seen many a 4.7 with 200,000 miles or close to and still purring like my 5.9.
@sideburns2009 The 4.7 isn't as bad as Chryslers 2.7 which may be one of the worst engines ever made. However the 4.7 is a p.o.s. when compared to the 5.2 it replaced. Craigs list and ebay are filled with Durangos, Grand Cherokees and Rams with blown 4.7's. I am a Chrysler fan big time don't get me wrong, but the early 4.7's just weren't very strong and durable.
See i can say the same about ford. My friend has about 325,000 miles on his mustang. My great grandfather had a buick and he was driving up a mountain and the alternator went out. But thats most likely caused because he treated it like a truck.
2010, not the best of times but certainly better times. How I miss yesterday.
I agree

The F-350 sounds awesome! Gotta love the sound of that Powerstroke turbo diesel V8.

I was actually confused at first when I thought it in his start up video
My dad has a 2010 fully speced Mitsubishi Lancer evolution with all the add-owns. He has owned the car since new and has not had a single problem with it!

That Start up of that 04 GMC Yukon should be in the Hummer H2 2003 but it starts good

That Last Truck is a VERY Familiar Sight to me, my sister has a 2000 Sport Model. I've logged a LOT of Seat time in hers.
Normally I'd agree, I was a Ford fan, until I had to drive Super Dutys in Ontario as part of my job. Now it's Duramax all the way!
Nice, I like the Pacifica. Better than the newer Pacifica minivan. Decently luxurious cabin for a car that came out in 2003/2004.

Loving that F-350!
Love the 98 Dodge Durango
Yep my friend has a 94 Chevy with 353k on it and the only problem he had with it was the air conditioning.
1998 dodge durango looks perfect
You have a pretty good job. Starting up cars

By far are the 2000-2007 Ford F-350s the best truck ever made. I love driving my dads
@saabkyle04 my dad's Villager minivan used to not be used a lot before we got it, so there it sat, used three times a week. It went through rainstorms and winters, not a single spec of rust. That's why I love the south! :D

@98morgs Here in the U.S. that is known as the Infiniti QX56, at least the new redesigned ones are since they changed the platform in 2010.
damn, that lancer sounded like a diesel when you opened up the hood lol
I have a friend that has had 3 Pontiac's with the 3.8 the engine is really good but his transmissions in all 3 failed at or around 200k miles
My fav is the 2004 gmc yukon. Gmc chevrolet and escalades are the best

also, dont turn the headlights on before you start it, puts a strain on the battery...
The Impala in Canada, was also called the Pontiac Parisienne, and didn't have Pontiac's famed wide track suspension.

Good to see that your still dedicated to doing videos in the bad weather
I love all cars. I just wish I could afford to buy one for myself so I could drive myself to work and to other places.
