    FYI... All offshore applications are on hold since 27 March 2020. Oldest application in queue is from December 2019. Current waiting time is more than 24 months as per official website.
    Moreover, NZ has closed its door to all offshore applications till end of 2021.

      yes u r right bro.. Fnds, Please don't apply to NZ PR Visa, i'm the victim for that .. I have already got NZ PR Visa last year, intially it would be the Job Search Visa for 12 Months, In my case my visa has already expired as the borders are closed due to Pandemic situation. I contacted NZ Immigration on the same and they said they can't extend it though the visa is not being utilised, finally I couldn't able to travel to NZ and wasted lot of money and totally waste of time as the total visa process took me appr 18 -24 months + a year of visa expired, totally 3 years :( Also Please bear in my mind that there are no jobs in NZ, IT market is very very small. Better you try some other counties where process is fast and more jobs. Thanks

    The most important part that you missed explaining is that under skilled work experience there is a criteria to match NZD 25.5 wage per hour. In india most PPL do not have it. Please update the video or explain in detail in ur next. This is what i understand that the min wage earned criteria eliminates the chance for most PPL as they in India are underpaid

    • @TheJagritisaxena
      @TheJagritisaxena Před 3 lety

      @@khushbookaur it's not mentioned in the form. If u click on the highlighted part of skilled worker, it provides a definition of it and conditions that should be fulfilled. Check on the immigration page, there r multiple links. However, I didn't quite understand how is the hourly wage calculated as we overwork and are underpaid. Possibly an immigration lawyer would be able to help

    • @khushbookaur
      @khushbookaur Před 3 lety

      By the way minimum wage rate in New zealand is around 19 dollar which has recently changed. I have acquintances living there so know about it. Anyway I think I got your point. Its related to how you identify as skilled worker i.e A carpenter doesn't come under skilled worker. This is a classification by almost all countries.

    I wouldn’t apply now because the EOI is closed until probably next year and a new immigration policy will be introduce end of October 2021. Added on this, there is a huge backlog around 8 thousand plus 7000 waiting on EOI reopen. Unfortunately, the NZ immigration system is heading somewhere, but definitely not in a good way.

    In my view, when Canada was doing this, it sounds fairer, so no argument about that, but the NZ one-off resident visa is unfair. For example, one student visa holder who know this from social media before the announced day and applied for the post student work visa on 29, then he get the chance, but another one applied for a post student work visa on 30 September but lose a chance. Why do people meet the same criterion but be treated differently just for one know this earlier than another. Also, some people come here 10 years and separate with family for 3 years can’t be a part, but some come here 2 years don’t know how to speak English can be a part. What a ridiculous.

    .Do you think it is fair? We all come here for 4 years. We are both holding student visa and on the path way to get the post student work visa. Only because you applied for it ONE day earlier then me , I am kicked out, you can be a part of it. Why the limitation of 29 September is the applying time but not graduation date. Applying time can be changed according to many uncertainties, such as internet traffic, but the graduation time of your visa is planed one year before and can't be changed. To get the NZ resident visa is like a gamble, rules always changed and no fair standard.

    This is a message for anyone thinking of moving to New Zealand. DON'T! we already have enough people living here,there is already a housing shortage we don't need more people coming here adding to our problems...also it would be great if you could get your brothers and cousins to move back home.
