I met Owen Hart at a signing before a house show. I remember being disappointed because it was advertised as “WWE Tag Champs” and Kane/X-Pac just won the belts. Then it was Owen and Jeff Jarrett. I wasn’t a fan, but he was so nice and infectious you couldn’t help but be drawn to him. It’s a memory I still cherish
Also met Owen and I was shocked by how quiet and nice his voice in real life vs his wwf voice was

The more I watch this video, the more I question,”How did the anyone invest a second of time during the ruthless aggression era with teams like Charli Haas and Viscera?” Honestly the tag titles should get more respect just for surviving decades of struggle.
The first few years of the Ruthless Aggression era were awesome and a proper follow up to the Attitude Era. It got bad in 2006 and 2007. I stopped watching in 2007.
The writing and creative gimmick process wasn’t too favorable towards tag teams after the 80s, declining to a point where tag teams were mostly just used to pitch the next folks that would be pushed after the inevitable heel/face turn. That made the occasional Dudley Boys/Hardys/New Day/Outlaws/DX really stand out.
Even worse the attitude era is pure cringe looking back.

Hey, back then, EVERYBODY loved Too Cool. They sometimes get glossed over when people talk about the late Attitude Era as a golden age of tag team wrestling, but at their peak, they were every bit as over as E&C, the Hardys, or the Dudleys, and significantly more so than the APA, the Hollys, or anybody else.
i don't think we'll get better tag matches than The Hardy Boyz, Dudley Boyz and Edge and Christian's triple threat TLC/Ladder matches, they were always insane

my instant reaction to seeing that this came out was “OHHHH SHIT. THAT is A VIDEO” in sheer excitement as I prepared for a SICK two hours
London and Kendrick are my all time favorites as they made me want to learn how to flip and tune into pro wrestling for almost 15 years now.
I loved the Hart Foundation. A classic tag team.
My favourite, though, will always be Legion of Doom. What a rush !

I would definitely rank The Hardy Boyz and The New Age Outlaws pretty high on this list. I also consider Edge and Christian to be one of the best tag teams in WWE as well.

Demolition were completely dominating during the most talented era of the fed. There were seriously conversations about an intercontinental tag title bc the talent pool was so deep.

The New Day may end up being the most successful wrestling faction ever in the history of the business.
I was gonna pose an argument for The Shield, but the New Day has never separated. So as a faction, they have two world championship reigns. The Shield accomplished their world title reigns when they were not a unit. As three wrestlers, Rollins, Roman and Dean accomplished more. But while still a unit, the New Day is by far the most successful stable of all time.
I’d still put Evolution over New Day, separation or no separation.

Is that right? Not arguing, I just thought the business hit its peak during the Hulkamania run. Though that might just be the peak of "mainstream" wrestling popularity with wrestling being discussed on nationally televised shows and getting sports illustrated covers.

My childhood tagteam heroes were Demolition and L,O,D, The Hart Foundation and the high flying Rockers. I was devastated when the rockers split, the 80's era was awesome

I'm going on a binge with these videos. As a kid I was not a fan of Miz and Morrison and preferred the the Colons during that strange feud (and it was strange) but as an adult, I really admire them now. Learning how they started as enemies to becoming best friends back to enemies was super interesting. You wouldn't think two wrestlers coming from ECW that were so full of themselves would work so well together, let alone last as long as they did. Even when they lost the titles they didn't betray each other until they were drafted apart. I wish they're feud had went better. I also wish they had a chance to go against Drew and Dolph cause they're so oddly similar and also due to the fact that it would be a feud consisting of 3 men who's fought Morrison for his title at least once lol

Worst to Best every Survivor Series Match (the tag team elimination matches)
Can't remember the year, but the worst was the year the show only had one survivor match. The "bad guys" got into a fight over who was team captain and ended up never having the match. Personal favorite, but probably not near the best match, was I believe in 90 or 91 when Undertaker made his debut on Million Dollar Mans team.
That chuckle at #69 made me laugh more than it should have. 🤣

I'm so happy to see The Bar up in the top 15. I LOVE Cesaro and his chemistry with Sheamus was so overlooked. What a great tag reign they had. Wish they were still together. Cesaro NEEDS to be a champion again.

I used to really like Power & Glory because their finisher was so cool looking in the late 80s early 90s. Plus the Killer Bees because, to paraphrase Gorilla, "Nobody hits a drop kick like Jumping Jim Brunzelle." (Probably got that name spelled wrong)
Agreed with everyone of your choices minus The Bar...that's an odd choice. My favorite Cesaro tag team were the Kings of Wrestling with Chris Hero.

I'm still impressed how in the era where tag titles were usually placed on the Preshow at Mania, how The Bar got 3 main card Mania matches for a thrown together tag team.

With that though, Colossal Connection was pretty dang high! Off of sheer legacy, sure Haku and Andre were absolute legends (the latter being the very definition of) and that could justify their ranking. But, there title run seemed contrived for a 3rd reign for Demolition! Again pretty high rank for a pretty forgettable run, in my humble opinion!
And of course, these lists are always going to be subjective! But thanks for the content to be able to even discuss the topic
Paul London and Brian Kendrick's Tag Team Title Reign doesn't get spoken of because that tag title Reign was awesome and the Pairing with Ashley Massaro (RIP) was awesome.

A bit of trivia I think that Mr. Fuji had more combined days between his actually holding the belt alongside his times managing the team that held them.
For the record, PCO says that story with Men on a Mission is not true and the plan was always to do the two switches as they were trying to pump up house show business. This actually fits with several tag title changes in that 1993-1995 era. Maybe that move was indeed stiff and/or not the planned finish but the guy who lost said the switch was planned.

As a wwe list this is pretty spot on but an all time list the road warriors would have to be number one and the midnight express 2 or 3 along with the new day would be in the top 5 along with the heart foundation, prolly dudleys and possibly rock and roll express 6 not sure where I’d rank em all but road warriors would be number one if it were every promotion.

The New Day did more for the titles than anybody since the Road Warriors.
The Hart foundation was the ones that really got tag team wrestling noticed. What i like about the Harts is they didn't jump around acting like clowns to get everyone to like them. We liked the Harts because they came in took names and kicked ass.
the new day are overrated and the reason they were champs for so long was to break demolitions mark as vince and demo arent on good terms.
Kane and BigShow was always a serious trouble in each iteration…every time they was together I was like ain’t nobody can beat em😂

Honestly, having the New Day as the top Champs is a great choice. The held the tag titles for a very long time across a lot of different reigns and MANY great tag matches, not to mention that they are one of the few successful tag teams to have multiple members hold te wwe championship. It would have also been reasonable to have either demolition, the hart foundation, the new age outlaws, or the dugleys as the top spot as well(I imagine that if you did a ranking on TNA tag teams, the dugley boys or Beer Money would be at the top)
If Bill Eadie’s health doesn’t start fading I think Demolition survives the brief LoD run and remains the best ever or #2 to THF. They could have brought Crush along more slowly so he wasn’t exposed.
