I hate that Sadie has an amazing horse like the Gold Turkoman and she named him “Bob”. I’m not always the best at naming horses but I’m better than that.

My favourite gang horse has to be Uncles few spot buckskin Appaloosa in the epilogue, I just love that moustache xD

Actually, it’s a Suffolk Punch not an Appaloosa. Says so on Red Dead Wiki.

Maybe the dark horse is baylock. He ran away after Micah's death and probably got himself screwed by some wild animal or something and made his way to a dishonorable kohn/jack. Baylock only serves cruel and meek masters.
I think Arthur’s mahogany bay is so under appreciated, beautiful coat despite its breed. Very loyal and honourable like Arthur

Then in the epilogue he has a horse called Nell IV.

i absolutely adore charles's horse, taima. i have a soft spot for appaloosas, especially grey snow cap leopard ones. i really wish we could've had one as an option later in the game! i also love sean's horse, ennis, because of those piercing blue eyes.

I’m pretty sure Maggie is a younger mustang, hence why some of the leg hairs and other features haven’t grown and why she is smaller than the average mustang. Morgans are particularly very slim and have thin legs. Maggie has thicker legs and a bigger body build.

I had to spit my coffee back out when you said Dutch's mount is an albino. Wow! So many people have mistakenly said the white Arabian up by the lake is albino. She's not. I will definitely have to give Dutch's horse some more scrutiny.

you can check the count's info and when you look at the coat it says albino.
I hate to break it to everyone, but... there aren't albino horses (it's complicated, but related to how white pigment in horses' coats is caused by a lack of melanocytes rather than a lack of melanin and there are several, sometimes dominant genes that factor into what colour a horse will be, contrasting with what defines as albinism in other animals. They also always have pigmented eyes.).
The Count is just a proper completely "white" horse where his skin, eyes, and hooves are also light. He might have been called an "albino" because either the devs didn't know any better or because it's a compromise due to something like the grey Arabian that they called white?
Fun fact, Baylock will gradually show signs of abuse as the game progresses, which also closely resembles the low-honor horse from RDR1
Love all the Gang Horses! All of them are very unique, and interesting. It would be cool if there’s a way you can find out how the Gang acquired their horses, might be something interesting with that.

Maggie and Boaz have my favourite coats but Old Boy is my favourite gang horse because like John, he’s nothing fancy but is loyal and reliable.
The Count is my least favourite gang horse, partly because I’m not a fan of how little the Arabians are and partly because he’s just too flashy for me.

@@superantonio mine is baylock. he represents micah. baylock has a white mask type thing on his face. but the rest is black which kind of means evil micah also wears a white mask metaphorically/ a mask of good but he is evil hence the black. my least favorite is maggie shes kinda bland
Baylock is my favorite gang horse because I love his beautiful coat and I think it’s pretty sad to think that Baylock is just trapped with Micah and loves his owner and Micah loved Baylock because Baylock is loyal to Micah. Unlike the dark horse from the first game which I just think is an evil horse. Also can we show some love to Brown Jack I never see him get any love but I like his coat and Arthur mentions that Bill loves him despite Bill being…well…Bill.
4:41, the backstripe isn't for any kind of horse. It is found in horses that have a dun coat so while it isn't, it could be a mustang because mustangs don't need the back stripe
John could’ve had more than 4 horses since he’s a rancher so you can collect them.
Maggie is actually a mustang, if you have version 1.00, when you press L2 to look at a horse then L1 to open the menu, press R1 till you reach the horse menu where you can feed it and brush it, it’ll tell you in the top right corner what breed every horse is, like for maggie it’s a palamino dapple mustang, I’ll try to link a screenshot just a minute

They actually had planned to let you ride the gangs horses, there is hidden dialogue that was found by "StrangeMan."

Micha's only redeeming trait is that he seems to care for his horse.

No he doesn't he abuses and mistreats his horse you can tell because his horse has lower health than all the other horses in the camp he doesn't feed or brush his horse he is an animal abuser he also killed the camp dog Cain after kicking him at a previous camp Micah doesn't have any redeeming qualities you give him too much credit
@@Iam2Derpy4uM8 he doesn't abuse his horse. Horse stats are randomly lower for every gang horse not just micah horse. He loves his horse and have a dialogue if you injure or shoot Baylock where it's pretty clear he cares a lot for his horse. Fans just love to blame him for everything and make up things

You can get hosea's horse and sean & kieran & javier's to in tubleweed stable and sadie's to in saint denis stable you can get white arabian instead of count but arabian is smaller and andreas horse near van horn stable is the same coat as brown jack but different color and rachel i think its the same coat as baylock and john's horse when you return to shady bell in chapter 5 you get the same coat but different color
was brown jack included (bill's horse), if yes I'm sorry I somehow missed it
the only horses which aren't owned by the gang members are the andalusian and the thoroughbred

fun fact albino horses don’t exist, Dutch’s horse is probably true white or dominant white as opposed to the wild white arabian who is probably actually a gray horse which are born any other darker color and grey out until they are white

And finally Arthur’s ACTUAL horse atleast what I consider his final horse (even tho John can get it too) BUELL, a gold cremello Dutch warm blood whose stubborn and strong just like Arthur, and whose name is a Dutch occupational name for “hangman”, which can be taken in two ways, 1 as ironic since Arthur is an outlaw and for the whole game is on the run from the law and “the hangman” and around the time Arthur can get Buell is when he is also killed and “brought to justice”, or 2 as in Arthur bringing death to those he deemed condemned.
When I did the Valentine Bank Robbery I thought that Karen's horse was a Rose Grey Bay Arabian. It's not.
The primary horse that I've choose for Arthur is the white Arabian, then the golden buckskin Turkoman. For John, the Tiger striped bay Mustang.

I imagine the reason you can buy some of the gang's horses at the tumbleweed stable is probably because some gang members lost their horses and they were caught and sold to tumbleweed stable.
I think it would’ve been better if every gang member who died got their horse sold by the gang for money. It makes sense and it explains why Sean’s, Hosea’s, and Kieren’s horses can be found in tumbleweed. I would love to see Maggie in the stable or Baylock when you kill Micah. Or you could go back up to Mount Hagen and get Baylock for yourself. Im not complaining I love the grey overo paint and the brown leopard Appaloosa is one of if not my favorite Appaloosa but it would be nice.

Just wondering from curiosity, with all the other gang members horses in camp they all manage to have the horses heads down grazing but with Arthur's Horse I cant ever seem to make it happen. Does anyone know if there's a way to make Arthur's Horse put its head down and graze like the others

Are there plans to do end game horses? John, Sadie, Uncle and Charles all have new horses at this point. I once had a glitch where Sadie's horse Hera turned from whatever it was (a mustang?) into a dark bay turkoman after the completion of the 2nd to last mission with her before American Venom. You get bad honour for stealing it lol. I wonder if anyone else has had this? It's only happened once 🤔

makes sense to me honestly, i was just thinking if they have a gang horse who happens to be albino then surely a man can clip his mustang to show the lovely colours underneath!

Lenny's horse is the only Mustang in the game that doesn't have that iconic stripe running down the back or the furry legs but it's definitely not a Morgan you can totally tell by the structure if you put a Mustang standing right next to Lenny's horse you can totally tell if you put a Morgan standing right next to Lenny's horse you can totally tell that it's not a Morgan just make sure you know you want to do Lenny right it's not a Morgan he's got a Mustang

😂😂😂 i called her champagne c'ause she is an amber-champagne Missouri fox trotter and i thought "i must be the only one" 😂😂 so i already loved your videos, now i do even more!
In the game files you can find a red hungarian halfbreed. It's not been confirmed but it's very possible the horse is Boudica because it's a strong horse which is what Arthur wants and because Boudica had red hair. It's a shame that Arthur doesn't have a truly unique saddle and a truly unique horse to call his own.

TBH honest Micah's horse is the coolest.....it is fast and beautiful,unlike it's owner,especially with that white splash in it's head
When it comes to horses there are some beautiful ones for sure in rdr2
But I'm very picky when it comes to owning one for arthur
First play I picked palomino dapple and gave her blonde mane and tail but then I see an npc with the same breed
I wanted a horse that npcs don't have especially since the gang have their own horses with their own appearances
I also wasn't into tall horses my second horse I picked a wild blood bay thoroughbred
Then standing next to Dutch and Micah horse I thought too high I want to be the same height as them
That's when I came around to mahogany bay tennessee walker
Since I thought arthur kinda took him in after killing those O'Driscoll's and sadie conforms that it was one of the O'Driscoll's horse
And he has a nice coat
I wish the game would let you customize the reins for the horse
The gang horses saddles have their designs but in the stables when I get the improved saddles with designs the reins aren't customizable

uncle horse has a best colour looking horse in the camp
I was able to mount the The Count once, I was in Clemens Point and close to the Horse fence. So, I rode The Count to the Horse fence, intrigued by how much he would sell for. But as soon as I made it to the twins at Clemens Cove, The Count just immediately vanished. Funny it was.

When I get a horse for Arthur I don’t like having the same breed as the gang so that’s why I pick a thoroughbred or and Andalusian
I always get a Dutch Warmblood
