everytime he gives the horse a mohawk i die a bit on the inside
atleast he didnt give his horse a tomahawk
I ride the black shire hosea gave me all the time, I gave him long Mason and tail and both bright white and called him Guinness
I just noticed something: the Tumbleweed stable has horses that all belonged to gang members. Silver Dollar was the Turkoman, the Appaloosa was Trelawny’s horse, the Paint is Boaz, the Silver Tail Buckskin is Sean’s Ennis, and the Flaxen Roan is Kerian’s nag.
@@mrsspiritwolf same, as well as brown jack and john's hungarian
@@mrsspiritwolf me too
Probably javier returned the horses cause in rdr1 javier doesn't have his painted horse
I like to think that someone found the dead gang members horses and took them there. Maybe Trewlany sold his horse becouse of his age and maybe when Javier was heading back to mexico he sold his.
I have trelawny’s horse and I love her
I wish there were more horse breeds in RDR2, i just love all of them. Just hoping there is a way to increase stable size. 4 horses is not enough for me.
Same bro.
u can keep a temporary in the camp 2
@@nezukoclub652 They said more breeds not horses in general
@@gerardwayseyelash they said stable size lol
They should allow 4 different horses in each stable. You'd have to travel for a specific one, but I'd make that sacrifice.
I recently fell in love with the all black American standardbred. Big and powerful!
Came here for this. Its the only all-black horse in the game, no stripe, blaze, socks or snip. Arthur and John both look badass on it, and with a good saddle and the +1 from winning the races, it's pretty well-rounded. A great "daily driver," as it's been said...
I like arabians. They just match me...(my opinion) but i can understand your choice:)
MY favorite horse in the game!!!!
cremello Dutch warm blood will still be 1 of my favs
I wish Arthur could have it sooner :(((
If Arthur has the horse sooner then he might die in the end
Random Fact of The Day: At birth a baby panda is smaller than a mouse.
Never knew that. Well, learn something new every day
Fascinating
Keep it goin unpigg these are real interesting!
Although they are hotheaded turkomons are probably my favorite horses in the game especially during the raid on Cornwall oil my dark bay turkomon rode in after I dismounted and shielded me from bullets. Andalusians are a close second I love the perlino and the dark bay once got ambushed by a panther and didn’t even flinch. I’ve tried liking Dutch warmbloods but Buell bucked me off when a cougar was like 15 ft away and I haven’t had the highest opinion of em since lol
Buell is super skittish, IMO. Much different than a normal Warmblood like the Chocolate Roan. I got tired of his constant grumbling, and stropping, over snakes, black bear and all that.
If your arabian saw a panther and didn't react, it was a glitch. Those horses are so easily scared
@@marcusgraham3257 i recently learned that dataminers found no hidden courage stat between the breeds. The theory however is that each time you get an individual horse theres a random element that determines its bravery but most of it is still tied to bonding level. In one playthough i had a rose grey arabian as john and 3 cougar encounters it didnt buck me off
I appreciate your words on the nokotas. I had a wild blue, and she never bucked me with wolves at her heels.
Imagine how much money you have to spend to buy every horse in the game.
U can get them for free
@@izzyaddicted965 how?
You can just make saves
@@izzyaddicted965 Right, with the wagon.
You can spend nothing on horses.
-Cremello Dutch Warmblood (Free)
-White Arabian (Free)
-Tiger Striped Mustang (Free)
-Any other wild horses like Mustangs, Nokotas, and Thoroughbreds.
(If you want to know how much it is to buy all the Stable horses than my guess it would probably be 6000-10000 dollars depending on your honor.)
This was great, now I need one of you reviewing all the wild/found horses!
Also have you thought about a video on the mangy horses you can find with the Murfree Brood, never seen anyone make a video on them.
Keep up the great work!
@HorseLife Eternal huh never heard of them video, guess i should check it out! Thanks 😊
I kept the mangy appaloosa that I got from them. Very unique horse and probably one of my favorite honestly.
silver dapple pinto is the best horse for me, got it by tracking her after the Arcadia for Beginner III
I wanted to do this glitch to, but I don't get the mission 😩
Same for me I just recently started playing rdr2 a few years later but better later than never, the silver Dapple fox trotter is my favorite horse she was reliable all the way to her death on the last mission.
Even though I use the Chocolate Roan Dutch Warmblood the most as Arthur, the Amber Champagne MFT is my favourite horse. It's a perfect blend of speed, bravery and a perfect size
You can get the silver dapple pinto too if you like
I sort of feel like the mfts were kind of designed for arthur and John in their “canon” outfits. Arthur’s jacket matches really well with the champagne and the white and black mft is perfect for johns default outfit
The Turkoman with the +1 speed bonus is the best for me, you get the speed of the foxtrotter with the bravery of the warhorse, acceleration is the same but you can get more health. Stamina doesn't really matter as you can do the joystick thing which means you can gallop forever.
As a newcomer can you please explain " The Joystick thing which results in a gallop forever " please??
@@dariusbaja21 Ah okay, press the left stick when galloping to recover some of your stamina, time it correctly and you have infinite horse stamina, the amount increases at each bonding level.
@@Strider258 Gotcha , thanks for the quick reply . Appreciate it
@@dariusbaja21 of course!
Hey! Which Turkoman do you mean? c:
Thank you for another great video😊👍 I love your videos. These horses in rdr2 are all so great and unique and i wish i could have all of them.
I found a new favourite online today. The Kladruber, big, brave and good acceleration. I have a cremello, so it's very much like Buell. Hope your right and the online horses are put in story mode. Would love Arthur to ride a Kladruber through campaign!
Awesome video. Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for taking the time to make it. Automatic sub.
My top horse for Arthur is the Black Shire that Hosea gives him in the beginning. My favourite horse for John is his special Rachel 💕
Damn, lots of beautiful and good horses, barely have stables to store them
Can we somehow get Rock Star to increase stall size for us in story mode? I want to keep more horses! Ps every black Arabian I have had is very brave. The Ardennes is a coward. So strange we all have a different experience. 🤠
U much bonding did have with the Arabian and how much with the ardennes
As well as in online. As someone that grows very attached to game characters I’d love to be able to have a lot more than 10 horses, especially due to the insane amount of the new role horses and their huge amounts of different colors.
True, the only type of horse that has ever bucked me off is the Turkoman at lvl 4 bonding.
Really? My black arabian fully bonded was still extremely skittish - I would never lose control of the horse or have him buck me off, but still whenever there was a snake or a bear or gun shots the horse would start panicking.
@@MoonChaser. all horses get scared near predetors
I always go for the white Arabian at the beginning of chapter 2 but as soon as I go to valentine stables with Hosea to sell the Shire , I get the Dutch warmblood and that's my companion until we both die on the same day in chapter 6 . The chocolate roan is one if not the most beautiful horse in story mode .
War horses do great in combat but just like the Arabian and Turkoman they throw you off pretty easily when too close to a predator .
In the epilogue I get the fox trotter
My chestnut Arabian bonded level 4 wasn’t very skittish when facing wolves or gunfights. I was surprised
My white Arabian when fully bonded wasn’t bucking me off when a cougar got close that horse was amazing it died by getting hit by a train tho
In my experience the andalusion is the bravest horse for arthur. The gold turkoman felt like a bunny after my andalusian.
Excellent! One of the best RDR2 videos!
man, I love my tiger-striped mustang. I was roaming around in free roam and found him randomly, I know he doesn't have the best stats and I have better horses with better stats but he's a really good horse.
Before getting Cerberus, I thought Turkoman is the perfect horse, but as you said, this horse more like Arabian than Ardennes. Lately I keep Cerberus (& Isabella Arabian) in the stable.
And now in Chapter 4, I mostly ride Dapple Grey Thoroughbred & Leopard Appaloosa (as temporary horse). Surprisingly comfortable 😌
Great video! You should also do a video about all the other horses, because I love watching your videos!
Stable horses are really nice, my favourite stable has to be Saint Denis it has the black Arabian, turkoman and Missouri Fox Trotter
I have found Appoloosas (all varaieties) both in story and online to be the best all around horses for my play style they are very steady don't flake out and their stamina and health are pretty good even if they aren't the fastest.
They have really pretty coats too
Just subscribed keep up the good work man 👍
The bay rowen Ardennes used to be my favorite horse in the game I like the noise it made it sounds bad ass and that would be an author horse in my opinion however at this point the raven Blackshire and other horses are now my favorites
The brown leopard Appaloosa was trewlaneys horse too. Same as the silver tail buckskin American standardbread being Sean’s horse. Correct me if I’m wrong also. The flaxen roan Tennessee walker was kierans.
In my opinion the rose gray bay Arabian is the best whenever I get to the epilogue I immediately grind to get some money as John to get it
two years since this video. We never got more horses, we never got more slots for horses. The Chocolate Roan Dutch Warmblood is still my favourite Arthur horse, Cerberus is still the bravest horse I ever had, along with being the most skittish horse in another playthrough (it's really a luckshot with this horse). Arabians still suck for literaly everything you need a good horse for. Speed still does not matter in storymode, and should I ever finish my current playthrough (must be number 8 or 9 and I just can't do this to Arthur and myself anymore) John will still get the Pinto and Silver Dollar.. and the Dutch Warmblood to pretend it's old Arthurs horse ;-)
the strawberry is certainly difficult to get to. On my first playthrough i forgot to clear my bounty in strawberry after you break Micah out so i didn't venture into west Elizabeth for fear of bounty hunters. On my second playthrough now, just found them by accident and bought the Andalusian mostly just for its looks.
Indeed I like the chocolate Dutch warm blood it’s my second favorite coat up this horse
When I played rdr2 and I went to the Valentine stable I adored the dutch warmblood and the Hungarian Halfbred
Good video bud. I appreciate the effort.
hi Antonio i just realised that on my last playthrough biscuit spawned in as a male horse, i loaded it up to confirm it
This is the video I was looking for, I kept searching stable offerings in different chapters, finally got recommended today. Anyway great video but I don't really want more horses, I want more slots, I know online version has more and that's why they don't want to increase single player numbers, but 4 is too low don't you think? I wish it was 10 or more but I think 6 would be a fair, some of the horses gave me great memories.
Well i bought that Dark bay Andalusian and i witnessed no bravery. That horse freaked out at all the animals but rabbits and got anxiety when someone fired a shot in the next county. My old trusty Apaloosa had nerves of steel.
1:11
That’s when you see this horses bridle, how can you change it? I couldn’t find anything out on how to.
You can still bet any horse race with any war horse
I'm watching this, but I'm already too emotionally attached to the ultimate edition thoroughbred to ride anything else lol
6:04 Funny that when I bought that horse I thought boudaicea is a very good name for it (Arthur's old horse) and after watching your videos about the subject now I still believe it's the strongest candidete to be boudaicea (A dark red/chestnut one not a silver dapple pinto or Amber champgane)
Weird how the MFT fits arthur so well. Everyone just makes it the best candidate
I currently have a silver tailed bucksin, so far the only horse that hasn't bucked me off when we are battling wolves...
If anyone is interested in making money and doesn’t care too much about their horse: buy a horse from a stable. The more expensive the better. Then, get to bonding level 4 as fast as possible. Once you sell it, you will get a bonus few hundred dollars. It’s essentially horse-flipping!
I'd say it's more cost effective to do this with wild horses; the arabians and the Perlino Andalusian are worth a pretty penny and are easy to come by.
@@julesmcgrules3860
That’s very true. I honestly only found this out with stable horses because I’m just that ignorant sometimes. The white Arabian can get you around 200$ i think.
I've since come to find out the quickest way by far to increase horse bonding is to simply lead the horse. It racks up very quickly, just a bit tedious.
I love the buckskin Dutch warmblood. Great horse
grey ardennes was my main horse chapter 2 to chapter 6, died with it certainly strongest horse and never died, my favourite.
Am I the only person who doesn't care about stamina...tap x with the gallops and I noticed the stamina drain is less. Which makes sense because you're working with the horse to run faster. Also pat the horse mid run and stamina regenerates a bit. I can straight up gallop across the map with my nakota.
Edit: also stole him from one of the gang members from chapter 3 so shes a very brave girl. The only thing she hates is snakes.....can handle a bear or wolf but can't take an angry noodle.
I love the BIG BOY black and white Shires
Silver Missouri Foxtrotter would be John Marston and same with the Gray rowan Arabian
17:26 thats actually trelawnys horse if I remember
I think you have an unjustified emotional attachment to Arthur’s “1st horse”! The one you start the game with means nothing to him, he stole it in the escape from Blackwater. His actual horse Dutch makes a reference too in chapter one outside of Sadie’s house. Find out what that horse Dutch mentions is and I bet it’s not a Tennessee Walker.
Nice video really helpful
7:25 hey! I beat dutch with a belgian draft anything is possible lmao
Quick question. Could the Grey Mustang (Grullo Dun) be a good replacement for the schwoomple doomple iron grey Ardennes?
I got the silver dapple pinto missoury fox trotter as John, a good boi he is, and i named him Arthur Morgan for the obvious reason
Okay, i have a question. are YOUR horses that you bought relative to that stable (if you stable in saint denis it will stay in saint denis) or will your 4 horses travel, limiting you to only 4?
You can only have 4 they show up at each stable
Why is it that...first lets say i have my main horse and then 3 other horses that are stabled. When i go to sell a stabled horse, you click to highlight it and then you press the _____ space bar for 5 seconds to sell it. When i do that, it sells ALL 3 stabled horses. So, how do i sell just 1 horse at a time? I REALLY hope someone has the correct answer because its driving me nuts.
Thank you!!!
Hey ty for video! Is it possible to have Arden horse ( from preorder) while I have bought a full version (premium? Or so) with thoroughbred horse? I can see you have. Hiw did u make it?:) Ty
well I've been using Arabians for quite some time and yeah they are pretty bad at actual hunting and gunfights. i spend my time calming them down all the time. i still use the free white arabian though and i finally figured out how to utilize an arabian to everything properly.
I really want to keep all this horse in fact we can't
I have a question. If I buy the special edition (waiting for sale) on the PlayStation store can I just download the special edition content since I already have my normal disc version installed or do I have to download the new copy of the game as well?
I know it’s kinda pointless to rebuy the game just for a few things but the reverse dapple thoroughbred is my absolute favourite horse in game and I can’t have it on the normal one. Need the special or ultimate editions.
I've been wondering it too because I got the regular out of impulse, even though I had enough to get ultimate
Yes, it will essentially just download the extra content. You won’t have to re download the whole game.
I wish they released an upgrade pack, where you could get the Ultimate Edition content without having to buy the game again. 😞 Or even just the Special Edition content.
I have one horse. The Chocolate Roan Dutch Warmblood. Why do I need more than one? He’s not really fast but he has endurance. He doesn’t run in firefight. He’s not tiny like an Arabian. He’s the perfect horse for Arthur.

When I stole the black Arabian from the Saint Denis stables I was cussing those high stall gates. Pretty though.
Funny my rose gray bay arabian had a wolf almost up its bum and still didnt buck me off neither ran off it just was a bit scared
I like the rose grey. It seems less skittish than the others and it's stats are simply beautiful.
None of my Arabians have been cowards. Just as brave as any other horse in the game. 🤠
my Arthur had a 2 mustang and 1 black arabian that i loved to akimbo it with The Count when i rid with Dutch
i never or had the tiger mustang :
Yes I find the grey 1/2 breed to be very brave. The other two colors not so much. But I bet they are all exactly the same horse in reality. I bet they all have the same personality- all the breeds. Everything else is prob in our minds. Rock Star really gave every breed and coat a diff personality? I doubt it. 🤠
We need more stable space!
Sasafrass ... perfect my friend
What kind of horse are u using when video starts black and white
What was the horse he rode in the camp at the beginning of the video
My stolen brindle thoroughbred kept on barking and whining from level 1 bonding all the way to level four. It's like it's in an eternal state of crocodile ptsd. Super annoying. Did you get it too?
@@mrsspiritwolf that's weird
The Fox Trotter was the whiny one for me. I have the brindle thoroughbred on my ps4 story mode and on rdr2 online. I have it on my xbox too, story mode. I've replayed the story over 3 times using the brindle thoroughbred to the end...
hey should i get the brown leopard apoloosa or silvertale standerbred
"go piss" lol
Some of your stats seem to be a bit off; chocolate roan tops off at 8 health, 9 stamina. Dapple grey halfbred tops off at 8 health, 7 stamina. It's the initial stat +3, not 4.
Yes he also said the Dapple Grey HH was quicker than the Chocolate Roan DWB too.
Who cares they don’t matter
@@kaidenhall2718 you ride an Arabian don't you
I don’t see why you can’t keep more than four horses in the end game when you have a whole ass empty barn and a ranch 🤯
It’s the amber champagne missouri for me
Are use the black and white Hungarian halfbreed after Guama
The tourkaman is the best because it’s a good war horse and very goof race horse
Hey superantonio!
Maybe you could talk about finding a suitable and good name for a horse. I always think that the gang members have such unique names for their horses. And: what does "Sasafrass" mean?
I like to look up Wild West and tv show horses, I like to use Paladin, Traveller, Thunder, Comanche, and Rain.
@@larryblack5963 I see. Well, each player has his own system of naming.
My favourite youtuber
Get the feeling I would not be only one buying dlc pack
how do u get this horse at 0:13 minutes in chapter 2?
What are a couple of brave/courageous/not-that-skittish kind of horses, that do not look like arthur or “abigail’s husband” are riding a pony like Arabians?😂
Andalusian is a solid choice. Ardennes as well. I like the mustangs but they're a bit squishier than pure war horses.
Turkomans , Hungarian Halfbreds , Ardennes, Andalusians and to an extent Appaloosas (I tamed one near the Hanging Dog ranch and immediately got surrounded by wolves but the Horse managed to hold its own at even at 0 bonding level)
My fav horse is dark bay turkoman
It could’ve been better if you had keep the original mane, I do really hate the Mohawk style 😕
I love the videos. But why not mention the speed and acceleration at level 4?
If there is a way to steal Nell IV, plz let me know because a horse with a moustache is cool.
Yes u can get it as John all u have to do is lasso people and bring them down from their horse and shoot them in their leg with a cattle man revolver and run away until that red dot is not shown in the mini map run back shoot him if he has a horse take the horse and if ur lucky u can get gang horses and Arabians and every horse in the game-(do it in ambarino in the n of the map
Man I would pay 100$$ if Rockstar would come out with dlc pack for story mode an have all horses available from online in story mode
My Favorite Horse For Arthur is Buell That Is My Favorite Horse For Arthur & Dutch Warmblood
Hey, Superantonio! I'm not sure if you've talked about this yet, but a lot of your viewer mail videos seem to be missing from your channel. I'm curious to know what happened to them.
The chocolate roan dutch Warmblood It’s faster than a Hungarian a half breed
The pinkish Ardenne, do you have to be on a certain chapter bcuz it's not in the stable for me?
Chapter 6 iirc.
My first playthrough it was a toss up between the black arabian, which I stole from the Braithwaites by climbing into the back of the stable BEFORE riding to the front and triggering the cutscene, to bond with him, and the gold turkoman I purchased in Chapter 4. My little black seemed to think he was the black shire I kept from Chapter 2. He threw me only once when the Murfree Brood ambushed us in Chapter 6 and a wagon exploded in front of us. The fire fights I rode him in he did fine, tanked a few shots but kept on flying in a straight line for me while I fired back. My amber champagne was the most skittish horse I owned and made Saint Denis a nightmare for me as she constantly spooked, bolted, and ran people over before I could get control back. ... She cause a lot of reloading to erase stupid, unintended bounties before I sold her in what was pretty much a fit of rage after she did it one too many times.
I love the turkomans but the gold and silver ones take out the realism. It's like being a drugged up prospector. Give me the dark coat from the Baithwaites.
@@dan5974 Not really. Ahkal-Teke's have that metallic sheen to their coats, so it's not unrealistic at all.
@@Cassimfan of course. But the contrast of the gold and silver coats compared to the rest of the game does not fit. It is completely stand outish for wanted criminals
The Dark Bay is the superior coat
@@dan5974 Dutch rides a part-Arabian... they're not subtle, and yes the Count is not a purebred Arabian because his coat color does not exist in the breed.
so many favorites.. I can't play the whole game with just one..
It's amazing how through RDR & RDR2 Rockstar managed to turn gamers into horsegirls...
Me included...
The four horse limit in story mode is a crime 🥲
