RDR2 is full of details and secrets. I've played this game for 750+ hours, yet there's still so much more I haven't found yet. I wanted to show you some that I only recently stumbled into.
Music: • North Backcountry - Hry
This game is a rare diamond. It's insane how much shit they packed into this game that people still are finding years later. A masterpiece.
i really hope that gta 6 is better and more detailed than RDR2
thats all thanks to rockstar's crunch culture and a ridiculous amount of overworking
Yet it still feels unpolished
It truly is. However that also means you can't really find anything better at what it is doing - you can only really play worse stuff. We will probably have to wait multiple years before an open world game of similar (or hopefully better) caliber comes out again.
@@Devilsnightforlife breath of the wild 2 comes out next year.
“Well I’ll be damned how did he do that?!… ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!!”
Arthur was not impressed
🤣🤣🤣
That ended me right there 😭😂
I watched a short where some dude threw a tomahawk at him, and while the dude was fucking dying on tbe floor arthur says "well it looks like you weren't so magical after all"
🤣🤣
Theres three options at this event. Either you miss your shot and the guy acts as if he caught the bullet. You can also shoot him somewhere and hell get hurt and say he doesnt have teeth there. Or you can just shoot him in the face and he dies, and I believe he just gets carried off stage and the show goes on
This game will forever remain as a testament to how amazing video games can be if done properly.
Developers of this game must be so happy knowing that they didn't waste their time creating so much details for this game.
You can also use dynamite to free Micah, I actually didn’t know about the winch until a few weeks ago.
Also while Micah is in Jail, you can ride his horse which you will find in camp after “A Quiet Time” and it will be nice to you, but after you free Micah it will become one of the most skittish horses in camp and become much dirtier than the rest of the horses in camp, implying that Micah abuses his horse
Not even surprised by this snake anymore.
Not surprised he abuses the horse
Its the dark horse
baylock (his horse) shows up in rdr1 when you have bare minimum honor I’m pretty sure
@@gamergodplays7153 it’s very similar but not the same, also that’s pretty commonly known
This is why this game hits so hard to so many people in so many different ways. It's a once in a lifetime experience and one I'll never forget.
I finally finished this game a few days ago and it was the best experience ive ever had

You're right, I've never experienced a worse control scheme and I don't think I ever will again in my lifetime.
This is truly the best game ever made in my opinion. Everyone at Rockstar and everyone who worked on this masterpiece should be damn proud of what you’ve made. It’s truly a work of art
This is why I say that Rockstar fans are taking this game for granted. It took them like 5 years to make this while also making sure GTA Online gets a lot of update yet fans still complain they ain't getting GTA 6 soon. Now I wish Rockstar releases GTA 6 buggy, laggy and it crashes every time just to throw a spite to the so called fans.
John:”I got one who was trying to escape.”
Arthur:”I was letting him go.”
John:”Too late now.”
Thanks for writing what we all just watched. Very special of you.

@@dd5617the game will be good, but im concerned about the storyline
7:19 I do believe that you can actually trigger another secret cutscene just by shooting near the NPC without killing him. You will basically skip the fist fight, the NPC will be too afraid to start the fight because Arthur will be pointing his gun at him for the rest of the cutscene.

@@WhySoSeriousGM the hell you mean son. They overworked the hell out of the devs in the production of this game lol
@@WhySoSeriousGM that's some copium right there.
Do You think making games is as fun as playing them? Not even close. Game dev can sometimes be fun but that's just sometimes. Usually, you want to pull your hair cuz making some cool and fast algorithms for various cool gameplay features is not that easy and fun actually. :) Things get very messy as the project grows. Red Dead Redemption is a huge project costing more than half a billion dollars to make. That's insane.
This game truly is a masterpiece, after years of playing I still find new things. Better than any GTA.
6:25 This line with the music in the background creates an amazing creepy vibes. Enough to send chills down the spine
You can use the pig farm to transfer valuables from Arthur to John, by going to it right before Arthur's last mission. Great way to pass along gold bars, and other valuables
That's not a secret, it's a bug, but yeah.
@@Leongon it's a secret in the sense that not many people know you can do it. It doesn't have to be a feature. It's an exploitable mechanic of the game that's not well known.
@@danvondrasek Not disagreeing, just pointing out that it's not something put intentionally there by the devs, it is an oversight. Like how we are able to return to Guarma because they left enough unused map geometry connecting the mainland to it, which they didn't bother to clear to reduce the game download size a little bit.
can u further explain ? i’m trying to college at much as possible before my last mission as arthur and this woukld be very useful to me
@@yearight6294 Simple play the quest at the Aberdeen Pig Farm until you get knocked out and wake up in a ditch, then don't return to that house again until you're with John, then check the painting right in front of the entrance door. 👍
8:40 the spin wasn't necessary but it made it 10x cooler
I don't know why the game spun Arthur around like that, but I'm glad it did.

The lightning strike at 10 pm, Arthur giving money to the slaves he frees in Saint Denis, and John hugging Abigail in the Epilogue, I had no idea about those, and I, too, have played this game for hundreds of hours! Excellent video, thank you for sharing these finds with us!
Thanks very much! You're very welcome! 😊

I wonder though, as you can trigger the lighting in RDO too, if you activate Slow and Steady will you survive the lighting or not? Because the special protects you from any instakill attacks excluding animals.
I was there. By the way awesome video!
love that you ended the video with a touching moment with John hugging Abigaille, it's a bittersweet yet beautiful moment that they finally get to live the life they always fought for, a peaceful life. But not knowing that one day it all won't stay that way.

As a PC gamer I doubt Sony will remaster the first and I don't do consoles - well, I had an Atari2600 back in the early 80's. Still, I'm glad I get to experience this one.
@@terrylandess6072 I still have my Atari 2600 that I got for Xmas when I was 11, lol
Life is rarely static.
I’ve played this game for over 300+ hours and just the other day I discovered the crazy Braithewaite sister, the meteorite house, and the poet cabin with the grizzly bear waiting inside. There’s so much more in this game still that I know I haven’t found.
You must not pay attention to your surroundings very well. I’m on my first playthrough and stumbled across 2 of those 3 already in chapter 2 (the grizzly bear cabin and the meteorite house). I mean, ffs, the beat even growls loudly - from far away you can hear it. 😂
@@anti-ethniccleansing465 Congratulations. You are not everyone. Shocking right?😀
This game is a rarity in, I believe, entertaining as a whole, specially gaming in these years. The amount of details and love there is in RDRII is absolutely amazing. No wonder is my favorite game
It's already been said a million times, but gosh this game has depth. I remember a 'dream-like' state when I first roamed and randomly came across that notorious 'pig farm' couple. I was curious and even followed the 'wife' upstairs as she was getting changed (I feel like a creep saying that!), but then as that whole scene unfolded I just felt utterly entranced by the whole production behind it all. The resources Rockstar had thrown into scenes like that one, the characters, the reveal about their relationship and their parents and of course the linkage to the scene shown in this video (!), wow, what an amazing illustration of the depth of RDR2.
I bet your face looked just like Arthurs when he finds out they're siblings, eyes going from side to side lmao
This is why it makes me so mad they don't make DLC for their games.
I did the same thing, I followed the breadcrumbs regardless of what would happen to me and found it all so incredible considering it was stumbled upon, Then what capped it off was her reaction when I threw her into the pit, my vengeful side kicked in and taking her there was the first thing I thought of after killing the butterball, and to think ALL of that could easily be missed!
Can you only unlock the bunny outfit in chapter 2?
lol i missed that on my first play through because i assumed that fat dude was some sort of cannibal as he was TOOOO friendly, regret it cause it's a cool little story and i hear you can actually exploit it to stash all you're money from arthur and then collect it as john although i havent confirmed that
Red Dead 2 is honestly one of the best video games ever made. I have no idea how Rockstar managed to make this game. All other game companies could learn a thing or two from Red Dead.
It's okay but not quite as good as Two Worlds.
brooo , i still get goosebumps when i think about the time i played it first in 2018 , it was so golden man.
Good games takes long time to make, we still play GTA 5 for example, and it does not feel old at all. It's not one of "Ubisoft conveyor games", where only graphics and actors change from game to game every few years.
Crunch. That's pretty much it
There was a lot of blood, sweat, and tears put into this project. Most developers just can't be bothered to do the work.
I don’t play red dead anymore coz of life but watching these videos is literally my comfort zone.
The length that animators and story artist have went to make this game fell like a real world is just insane
I love the way Arthur is absolutely astonished by a man catching a bullet with his teeth, and a second later he yells *AbSoLuTe GaRbAgE!*
Fun Fact if you equip your sawed off before entering you can shoot the guy with your sawed off and actually Blow him Away and he'll get upset you ruined his performance 😂🤣
6:40 shows how Arthur is noticing Dutch’s downfall and how Hosea was keeping Dutch sane. However with Hosea gone, nobody is keeping Dutch sane
God,, red dead really tears me apart especially with how attached I am to Arthur. It’s heartbreaking
I'm only 40% into this game and it feels like there's a mountain of content left
Dutch shot an unarmed innocent woman in the head for no reason at all, and mind you, Hosea was still around that time, supposedly keeping Dutch sane.
The truth is that the mental illness which Dutch evidently suffers from, cannot be simply healed or kept in check by another person such as Hosea
I keep finding secrets I never knew about! This game is crazy detailed and so vast

There’s so much in this game, I hope they make another.
I'm used to say that there is nothing I do not know about this game because I got its platinum and literally had to do everything in everyplace and yet still don't know half of the hidden things about it.
Well I hope you learned your lesson: achievements and trophies are generally worthless 😂 The true achievement is within!
You have the platinum too? Nice job man. It took me a while but it’s nice to be part of 0.1% of the playerbase.
Yeah I found that out about Nier Automata I got its platinum and figured I've experienced everything in the base game until I realized although I had gotten every weapon and Mod available there I never used all of them and explored the multiple combinations to choose from. I saw someone on youtube doing some really Sick Combos with A1 that I never knew were possible
Poor guy had to play red dead online lol
@@ens0246 Actually no, Platinum means you loved that game. Means that, that game deserves your platinum award. Also, to achieve 100% gets a trophy as well and you are awarded in game for that like no one does. I'm glad I did it, no regrets despite being long.
The parry attack animation at 4:33 is very rare cus you have to get it just in time because it’s a one strike kill if you don’t block it.
I really wish they added more of this sort of thing into the game. I think it would be a big improvement on the combat. Maybe rdr3 will do something.
@@randomfactsthatdontmatter3466 yes that would be really cool I’ve always wanted to be able to throw NPC over the bar or table or railing if also like to have control overall the animation like if I wanted to do a certain one like the run and push someone over instead of being a random chance

I’ll admit I’ve finished this game 100% a few times. I can’t count how many times I’ve done a play through. (This is the only game I play. I have a problem. 😂). I’ve done a play through every way I can think possible. I find new things every single time. No exaggeration. I didn’t think this video would show me anything new, but I was wrong. Never knew about the lightning or shooting the people first. I’ve also never got the jacket. Great video.
You can also put on the viking helmet and get shocked by lightning almost anywhere when a storm is overhead.
6:58 The last moment that showed that Dutch actually cares before he goes through his descent
Arthur talking about his father makes me want a Red Dead 3 where you play as Arthur's father. It of course ends with his death but then you get to play as a young Arthur and the epilogue could end just before the Blackwater heist.
Where is the redemption
I think if they did an RDR3 it would be with Jack Marston. He was an innocent kid but turned outlaw down the path of his father, by killing his father's killer. Thus making Johns's sacrifice in the first game meaningless. That could be an interesting story and would provide some redemption as Jack looks for stability, avoids the law, and meaning to a life he claims no longer has anything to live for.
@@ahastar1141 i do not really have a certain preference but dude literally nobody on the internet wants to play as Jack for some reason. I never played the sequel idk if im missing anything

RDR2 was like therapy for me. Riding on the horses and seeing all the beautiful landscape. I have yet to play the first one!
Know what you mean. It actually helped me through a difficult time.
if you have a pc you can set up the xenia emulator to make it work, you dont need a supercomputer. I have a pretty average gaming pc and it works really well for me.
You should play it also am amazing game
With the theatre show you also can get different dialogue if you shoot his junk
“Well we’re gonna have to get you smartened up a bit”
Arthur: WHAT?
for me the best game ever made so far. the characters, the story and the graphic are just amazing plus all the details they put into it.
Two of my favourite moments, and there are a lot, are Arthur's face when the couple at Aberdeen pig farm reveal they have incestuous relations, and when you put on the trapper's hat after knocking it off in a fist fight with him at the saloon in Valentine. When you start playing poker after that event the trapper just stands behind Arthur in a menacing fashion. While playing Arthur is constantly looking over his shoulder at the menacing trapper. It's hilarious.
If you go back to Valentine and put on the hat in the hotel the dude will literally bust into your room and attack you lol
even if i’m not bothered to do missions and stuff i ride around on my horse and the views are absolutely beautiful, graphics are amazing
There are so many details in this game for real. I never knew about the hitch, I just found the keys to rescue Micah from sheriff's body directly.
Red dead 2 will go down as the greatest open world game EVER. The amount of detail they put in this world is INSANE.
I'm just at Horseshoe Overlook camp at night after rescuing Sean in Chapter 2. I finally managed to trigger dancing with Mary Beth (when Dutch is playing music and dancing wtih Molly) after only having that enounter once prior. What I didn't realise, if you stay awake long enough, Karen and Sean go get it on in a tent (closed obviously) and she's crying but doesnt want him to stop because she "wants someone to see her", it's so funny. The amount of dialogue I've never heard before is astounding, give me a reason to spend more time at camp.
I did high honor on my playthrough. I remember the "you gonna strangle me next?" It was one of those lines that just stuck with you. Didn't know you had to get an honor level to get that dialogue.
This games sound design is so magnificent
Why videogames are not like this anymore?
I'm still shock how this game didn't got updated to the next gen as GTA did and honestly how Rockstar just forgot about it. RDR2 for sure was the end of an era of good games.
Elden Ring came somewhat close with the exploration. I'm not expecting another game like this until GTA6 though.
@@FunWithGuru Me neither, my expectations are low with these new games but I still keep getting dissapointed.
Also, I'm afraid fanboys would be mad at me. But I'm quite sure GTA 6 will suck.
These kinds of games cost masses of time and money and most people arent interested in investing that. But luckily people are researching ways to make grander games less work intensive. So hopefully as time goes by there will be more and more.
But then also it's very hard to create something with a huge team of people and keep a singular vision. That's what makes them so rare and so precious.
@@aveteranplayer6403 Why do you think that? The core team that made RDR2 is seemingly returning. Dan Houser left Rockstar, but he almost certainly helped write GTA6 considering he wrote RDR2 like 6 years before it came out.
The bad reputation Rockstar has right now is mainly due to Take-Two and their bad decisions handling Rockstar's games post-release, not during development.
