I was riding on a horse and passed by an opossum and I thought I had killed it, but upon riding on it was just playing dead like they do in real life lol. I thought that was such a small thing for such a major attention to detail.

Still waiting for someone to figure out what the hidden cemetery is all about... its in the are between Osman Grove Cabin and Fort Brennand. On the map it says "Kamassa River" and on the highest point, to the west part before you hit the road there is a cemetery there. Just east of it are the bodies of the chain gang, including the one who sawed his leg off

I played 2 hours online but played over 100 hours on single player. This game is a masterpiece and i cant sing its praises enough. Truly amazing

More than that, i can't understand why they keep ruining story mode with every single update, costumers asking simple things like for example being able to remove off hand holsters and satchels and they make the option available just for the online that's fucking stupid

In the third chapter of my second play through. This is legitimately one of the most vibrant, most alive feeling games of all time and to this day the only game I’ve ever played to make me tear up.
Couldn't have said it better myself man.
Nier automata and Asura’s wrath are the only other games I can think of to make me tear up besides rdr2. All three are just amazing😭🙏

About little details: In Guarma I found myself a nice white hat. During the mission with Dutch to free Javier I changed my hat for a dirty one from another guard (in the sugar storage that you sabotage) and Dutch said all of a sudden: "I liked the other one better.". My mind was blown, again!
I was in a gunfight with Sadie once and I accidentally picked up someone else’s hat and Sadie said “stop taking dead folks hats!”
I get you, but he says that no matter what hat you change it for... It's just hat related banter that can trigger whenever you change hats in front of Dutch during any mission.
PS : That plantation hat is awesome. Best hat for a clean cut, St-Denis or Blackwater look.
I had that too and I assumed it was a bug given how Dutch changes his entire composure mid fight to say that in a sorta funny goofy way
The bear tip isn't just staring it down, you have to hold still as well. If you continue moving around even while staring at it there is a chance it will attack you, if you don't move at all. The bear will always leave you alone.

Works on grizzlies in-game - yes you have to stay still, it'll run right up to you, roar in your face, and then turn and run after you've sucessfully passed the vibe check

Citing Mr. Boss FTW is weird hell even most of the voice actors of Rockstar games say not to watch him, and also the sea monster was used just in GTA Online.
I doubt that Cayo perico Loch ness Monster had any relation, although it could be possible, as the textures for it are really good for something only supposed to be visible long distance, but it doesn't make any noise or even have a hit box in gta

I just started playing this game two weeks ago and it is all I play! I can’t believe I denied myself this beautifully crafted game! Rockstar is amazing with the immersion and detail like no other developer out there. I find myself stopping my horse and admiring the view so many times. Currently I’m attempting to shoot a dragonfly with an arrow but still unsuccessful lol
I played it for a year straight. This game is so immersive its unbelievable. I dont game online at all, this is all story mode time. Lol. Literally played it today looking for glitches
I can't say anything about the Dragon Flies. But the other day, while I was looking thru a scope, one of the Fire Fly's passed by right in front of it. It has the full detail in its body and was kinda blinding on the eyes for a second. It was one of those holy crap moments that leave you smiling. I have had a number of those.

Straight up. Im trying to fill the compendium and get all the challenges on my fourth run. It's seeming its gonna take a couple years literally and I'm pretty sure I missed a stranger mission or two so 100% is a pipe dream
GTA is a even bigger grind there payouts suck I play both and the way they make GTA like it's better it's toxic as shit in GTA people literally ride around to stop u from doing it missions and for what hardly anything

lmfao that's rough as fuck. They don't do a good job of informing you about it though. It's a camp upgrade you have to buy, then you can fast travel anywhere in the world by setting up a wilderness campsite.

@@balabanasireti You know that I kinda like this. Some problems can be solved by using logic. For instance, while hunting a grizzly, cougar or a panther it is wise to take a bath if you don't have cover scent lotion! Or you can stealth all the way up to animals (crouch walking) when you are down wind, or first threaten a snake so it curls up in defense and then take a clean shot with you bow without using your red eye. Or as they said, play dead when encountering a grizzly.
The less you tell us, the more we can find out!

Let's just all agree that RDR2 is the most breathtaking experience we had in many years of video games. In terms of details, graphics, realism/immersion. It's a whole piece of art

I'm playing the story for a third time and I'm STILL finding new things. This game is amazing. And i played them thoroughly the other two times.
This game is truly the best Game of all time imo, I like the love for the details of Rockstar and it's so crazy that people still discover things even after YEARS ! Who knows what else is hiding in the world of RDR what we don't know yet ? I'm so in love with this game and also started to post some content here on CZcams , I think it's the perfect game to start a channel :)

Micah almost never sleeps when he's at camp and at one point in Chapter 3 there's an interaction where Javier is drinking, joking and talking with Micah. After Micah says "I'm drunker than a Lord." Javier says "Me too." and walks away. After Javier walks away, Micah lays his head down on the poker table like he's sleeping, only thing is, his eyes never shut. It's weird.
You know why he doesn't really sleep, right (aside from the daytime naps he takes with his feet on the table in Beaver Hollow and in the hammock after returning from Guarma)? Look up the old logo for the Pinkerton Detective Agency. It has a little slogan and is one of those little clues as to the way things will eventually go. ;)

Best one I saw was while I was in the mountains in the beginning of the game and was just exploring through the snow and saw a bald eagle swoop down and take a fish out of the river and fly off. So much detail in video game
The river monster would have been a great way to stop players from crossing out of bounds.

I was stuck by lightening just outside of Rhodes near that red barn building. I jumped out of my skin when it happened because it’s loud af through the headphones.
I had a very near miss irl with lightning once, and it is LOUD AF irl, too. Is it weird that I want to go hang out near that red barn until I get Arthur struck by lightning so I can get my own version of 100%? XD

RDR2 and The Witcher 3 are easily the best single player games of our time ,the number of details devs put into this games, the story the world is unmatched and just shows how much love the devs put into this games , i mean is 2022 and people still discover new things is insane and i love it

I think PS4 and Xbox one have been pushed as hard as they can be pushed. Especially since if it does get added the online community will want it very badly, and it wouldn’t be stable on old gen.

If you go into the town of tumbleweed and talk to the bartender you will see him cleaning a shot glass by spitting into it and wiping it out, which is why I believe that was the whole plague problem.

I think that may just be the sounds of the ice and water bubbles under it. Actual ice does make weird sounds too.
That's just the sound of ice shifting. Same noises happen near the glacier in the northwest of the map and in irl ice

This game is a masterpiece, my favourite of the PS4 era. The online is heavily criticised, but I still come back to it every once in a while to have some fun
For me, RDR2 is at the top of the mountain along with The Witcher 3 and GTA V.
The online doesn't exist to me. When someone mentions rdr2 i only register the story.

@@shalindelta7 Fallout 4 for me is an amazing experience; very immersive and even more with Survival difficulty which changes the game completely. However, I think it is a retrograde game -a lot of people were disappointed because it was just more of the same and not a big change technically like The Witcher 2 & 3 by example- old engine, not polished and long loading screens which was unacceptable for 2015.
Still a great game though but I wouldn’t put it at the top.

The suitcase @ 2:55 actually has the Luxembourgish crest with 3 lions on it. The 2 golden lions can be found on another building in the game and 1 red lion in some sheriffs office I believe.
4:20 If you stand outside of the glacier entrance at the top of the map, you will hear this exact sound, it sounds more like a growl than a wail from a river monster. Stranger thing is, it's in the giant ass ice sheet, where the Neanderthals we're supposed to be found

She’s in the game technically speaking, there’s just no way to spawn her normally without console commands, but the model is there, you can find it in the game archives, but I think that if they add her it will be related with the Van Horn trader somehow as all leads seem to go there
@@jakdatboi she ain’t, in a random stranger ocurrence in which you have to get a worker to emerald ranch she explains that the girl is the ranch owners daughter, but that a long time ago the ranch owner got crazy and never let her out anymore, as well near emerald ranch you can find a destroyed wagon which as well confirms that the girl is the ranch owner daughter

Rdr 2 is awesome. I would like to give a shot out to my 6 year old son who figured out you can hog tie people then feed them to the Alligators or throw them in the water to drown them. I had been playing this game for 6 months and had no idea you could do that lol. He figured this out only after a few days of playing. guess I need to keep a eye on my boy as he grows up. Haha
The story is still fucking 10/10. The online is still 3/10. Yet the online keeps getting goddamn updates and the story has had nothing added at all.

I'd say online is 5/10, I've had fun with it but it feels kinda pointless and dragged out more often than not. On the other hand, the combination of story and gameplay is arguably the best to ever exist in video games. 10/10 for sure.

@@apurvashanker I can’t honestly make the comparison, I mean I haven’t played online enough to know for sure I’m just going by what I’ve heard from the community. I know they’ve improved it somewhat and they haven’t resorted to EA level tactics to juice everyone out of their money so there’s that. But as someone else said, I’d pay for more single player content. I just realized I never got the achievement for the stuffed squirrel so I’m gonna start a new story playthrough tonight. I wish the horse spawn glitches still worked so I could get the good horses as Arthur.
Man I wish Rockstar could've made a DLC for RDR2. I just love all the creepy, spooky, weird things you can find in the game. Just imagine if they made another spooky DLC like Undead Nightmare but instead of zombies it would be all the eerie stuff you find in the world like the vampire, manbearpig, the witches cauldron, the princess, the crashed meteor, the ghost train, the night folk, the wolf man, the alien ship, etc. Would be cool to interact more with these creatures, people, things etc. Doing missions like to help them out, kill them, or investigate.

The Princess.... she is rumored to be a character at the mansion party in St. Denis...she acts as if she's just another guest, but this NPC you have shown is also used in-game during a cutscene in the cemetery after following the pickpocket there...Trippy Commentaries did a video on it (not my favorite, but he puts in the effort). Keep up the good work!!
This is truly a great voiceover. You get the sense the speaker cares about the content and the viewers, which isn’t always present in tutorials

The whole point of the “200lbs Catfish” was R* making a pun that Jeremy Gills was a 200lbs catfish (someone who doesn’t tell the truth) because he promised you wealth and fame
when in reality the most you get from the end of that storyline was like a single gold nugget from his horse.

If I've learnt anything from playing rdr 2 a second time is that the game rewards you for taking your time and exploring the game plus this video proves that rockstar should make single player dlc for the game.

One of two things desperately needs to happen: 1: They give us undead nightmare for rdr2 or they remaster rdr1. GTA 5 is great but it's so old, I love the work they've done and I don't want to sound like I don't appreciate the time that goes into these games, but gta online gets far too much attention and rdr is treated like the red headed step child. The community for rdr is loyal and I think deserves at least undead nightmare.

Couple things that I discovered (today actually) on this new playthrough:
At least Sadie appears to pose for the camera. Haven't tried it on other gang members/npcs yet
Stealth is actually really cool. Simple and rudimentary for sure but still fun.

Outhouse thing might be a reference to the classic (anti) western novel Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy which ends with, spoilers obviously, antagonist probably murdering protagonist in an outhouse. Some people open the door and are shocked by what they see. It is a memorable moment since it is one of the few times when the novel shies away from describing explicit violence and its consequences.
I just picked it up again last night and spent 3 hours getting the van horn people to fight each other lol. The npc ai is so awesome . Hours of awesome stuff to find and do
Strange Man on CZcams is the greatest RDR2 secret detective! They literally find anything and everything and have so many details we just walk right over.
The vibe of these game is undeniable, its one of the greatest pieces of fiction i’ve ever consumed. Cried like a baby when we lost Arthur, & back in the day, when we lost John. ❤️

Believe it or not, ive actually seen the body in the outhouse at Micah’s around the time of my second play through of the game. Upon completing the story I decide to go back just to explore and see if id find any easter eggs after trying to enter the outhouse, I threw a stick of dynamite at it and saw the body in there. The amount of detail put in this game is truly unrivaled.

Tree could’ve been cut with a springboard too. Old time lumberjacks would often cut a small notch, insert springboard, then stand on it at higher elevation to make the full felling cut. Makes large tree diameter a bit smaller if you get ~6 feet up.

Exactly what I was thinking. Felt a little to far fetched to be a giant or something, especially when there's plenty of lumberjacks around in the game
The tree is cut at an angle so it wouldn't be done by a normal lumberjack and the cuts on the tree look like axe marks but larger
But there isn't a springboard notch in the tree and you, likely, wouldn't cut at that angle. Props for the lumberjack knowledge though.

There is mission script for IKZ. It's like a bounty mission. Which is weird. Maybe they planned the mission but then decided not to implement it.

I think the Tree is my favorite, the incredible effort Rockstar puts into detail and the lengths players go to discover it all is unmatched.
once things are found it also encourages the players to go offroad and actually discover and find things. if every game is just "go to location A using road Z to pick up quest 4" games are repetitive and boring as hell. sadly the majority of the games is just that...Rockstar not only made me to venture to certain areas to experience something in game instead of just over youtube, but they also made me research things and look at those videos. For instance.. i never heard about Roanoke. Didnt know what it was. Not just getting the game experience but actually looking at the reference they put in the game is awesome =)

I for one did not know about the UFO, nor the first bit of knowledge of a lot of the things on this list. Like the poster of the missing child, or the guy getting sucked under by the giant catfish. Amazing cause I feel I've played the hell outta this game and did as many side quests as I could find and I STILL haven't scratched the surface!!! I'm also not going around intentionally watching videos like this and tutorial videos to find things either, I'm actually playing through discovering things at my own pace as they come. Such a brilliant game and I really hope they put at least this level of detail and commitment into the next GTA game. I want to still be finding things this many years after that game releases.
The corpse near Micah hideout is there before the end of the game. He’s always there so don’t think he’s connected to Micah in the story. If you happen there earlier as Arthur you can see the corpse.

The first RRD is one of my favorite games ever, but I've never played part 2. I played that first one for hundreds of hours, but I just got busy and wasn't hardly playing video games for a few years. Now, I just built my first gaming PC a few months ago, so I'm learning the whole PC gaming world after being a PS guy forever. I gotta buy and download this game, I'm sure I'll love it.

I'm about 35% through the story and I'm still learning new cool things you can do. I LOVE THIS GAME! The scope of it is amazing! It may be the prettiest game I've ever seen. Natural environments are much more difficult to recreate, but they did an amazing job! 10 out of 10 in my book.

Cyberpunk made me appreciate RDR 2 a lot more we take these rockstar level of details and interactivity for granted ,Rockstar are simply the undisputed kings of open world games.

I saw a GIANT fish between St Denis and Sisika, but I was on my horse (going to get the legendary catfish over there) cuz I couldn’t find a boat so I could try and catch it unfortunately. It was about 3/4 the size of my horse and swam away as I got closer
The stump may also be an example of a devil's barber chair. The tree starts coming down before the logger has finished cutting it and splits like that as it falls. The split may cause the bottom end of the log to swing back into the logger's head, hence the name.

The audio for the river monster is used in the game. I heard it and thought it was a bear or something and spent three hours looking for it. The audio continued, but i couldnt find it.
The details in RDR2 is just so realistic in so many perspectives that an average joe won’t even realize them.

What sealed this game as a legend in my eyes was when I dropped a man in front of an alligator as a joke and the alligator bit and killed him.
You can hide bodies by dropping them in pig pits, too. The attention to detail is mind blowing.
Basically one of my first experiences in rdr was when Arthur catches Kieran, I saw the fire on the way in, went "huh. What if i put him in a little fire. As a treat. Just to see what happens" and watched him light up, me being in shock as if I hadn't been the one who just did that. Fire happened.

I’ve been playing this game for the first time on the ROG Ally for the past two weeks. As someone who remembers how impressive it was to have God of War on the PSP, it’s absolutely mind blowing that I’m able to play a game this expansive on a handheld, and run it well.
I’ve always considered myself a pretty casual gamer. I like story based single player games, and get bored with massive open worlds easily. The world of RDR2, however, has completely sucked me in. Even though the story is amazing, I constantly get distracted by the things happening in the world. That has never happened to me with other “all time great” open world games like The Witcher 3, Metal Gear Solid 5, Horizon Zero Dawn, Grand Theft Auto 5, or even Breath of the Wild.
This game is truly special and even after playing about 40 hours and completing 25% of it, I can’t see myself getting tired of it any time soon.
The fact that I am at chapter 4 already and I did not know about fast travel is mind blowing:)))) I used to just go to the train station and get a ticket
