Canary Motorcycle Tours - Part Five (One Last Ride 😁)

- This video will hopefully show viewers what a fabulous weeks holiday on the island of Gran Canaria with Canary Motorcycle Tours is like. I have made this into a five episode series showing all of the runs we did over the five riding days. Each day turned out to be very different from the last, with a great mix of fabulous roads to ride, all with stunning scenery.
This holiday is definitely, in my opinion, not for the inexperienced rider or someone who has just passed their test. I also wouldn’t recommend going with a pillion. Many of the roads we ride on are very narrow with many tourist rental cars presenting a hazard on some of the very tight corners. It’s important to try, where possible, to keep to the right hand side of the road. This is purely for your own safety.
This holiday I found was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived at the airport, we were picked up by Canary Motorcycle Tours and taken to our hotel for the week. The hotel is on a bed and breakfast basis and is excellent. It’s located within a five minute walk from Canary Motorcycle Tours base which is very convenient. It’s also well located for local restaurants, shops and bars.
I for one, would definitely recommend this holiday and I would certainly love to go back. See below for a link to Canary Motorcycle Tours website for more information.

Tempting though the 650 V-Strom most definitely is, I think I’ll be keeping the current fleet as it is for this year at least 🤣
Good videos, can I ask what other insurance you had to have to go with cmt and where did you get it, also I assume you took your own gear helmets etc ,who did you fly with and is there a charge for helmet etc or how did you pack?

You do need personal travel insurance which covers you to ride a bike over 125cc. I got mine from Carole Nash

Yes I took my own helmet and gear, packed it all into a large suitcase.
C.M.T. do have a large range of helmets, jackets and gloves that you can use free of charge. You do need your own boots and trousers.
I flew with Jet2 from Edinburgh to Gran Canaria
It a fantastic holiday, I’m sure you’d love it, definitely not for the inexperienced rider.
