- I have just caused the massive undersea supervolcano we explore in Subnautica to begin erupting. Trillions of gallons of lava are now rising at an alarming rate and will continue to do so until I die. I’m going to be attempting to survive for as long as possible so I need to get the heck out of here or this video is going to be 30 seconds long...

add like a upgrade for vaerculls of larva pertecsun so thay dont dia and make the larva ajustabul so you can set how long until it rives how long till its stops and the hight it whill rise too

I'd like to see a mod made around this where you have to constantly craft some kind of stabilizer structure to keep the lava down while the rising temperatures give you more areas to set up thermal reactors and stuff. Since resources don't respawn in the base game either it'd be cool to see the struggle of balancing which resources you use to make stabilizers and which you use to progress through the game. Escaping the lost river would be very tense as well being chased by the lava

@@feddy5264 I'm pretty sure it's a storage related thing where the PS4 deletes old batch files because they're tagged as temporary or something and that resets the loaded chunk which is why you sometimes get respawning leviathans or duplicate story items. You can replicate this on PC by deleting the batch files in your save but I think that's a little cheaty so only do it if you have to or just don't care about that

5:55 Oh, is that your first time having that happen to you? Lucky you. :P I lost several Prawn suits this way in early games, I think because my computer processor kind of sucks. :P
11:06 It's probably also worth noting that you could likely also put the solar panel on the rock next to you and have it do the same job. It doesn't necessarily have to be touching the base piece; it just needs to be close enough for the game to consider it part of the base.
I lost my Cyclops along with loads of rss under the map because of a glitch while i'm trying to park it in the mushroom biome. But i eventually got my cyclops back when i max everything in the settings to lag up my game while in a prawn suit. but the sad part is when my cyclops got out underground it exploded right away, but it's still a win for me because i looted all the rss inside the wreckage

It’s been a bit since I’ve seen your content and I found it again now that I’m on another subnautica kick. It’s cool to see that you’re still posting sometimes. I finally got all of the achievements on below zero.
It would be funny if the floating island rose with the water level, meaning it would be the only safe place on the map in the end.
Logistically through, the floating island would probably sink once the ancient floaters holding it up died
@@MsScarletwings True. The floaters presumably wouldn't be able to handle lava.
@@chadnorris8257 To be fair though the island looks to be mostly made out of soil so it might float on the lava. Wouldn't be very livable though.

I actually imagine that you could, in theory, build a super long base out past the end of the void, have a bioreactor, and six aquariums filled with bladder fish, and you could hypothetically survive.

Also if crash fish explode and what you gain from their pods is explosive and can be turned into a powerful flare, *keyword explosive* do you think that they would ignite and explode when the lava gets close enough, just causing massive explosions throughout the land.
Last thing, I’m so glad that there are CZcamsrs who still play this game and make quality content years after the games release, and the community is still active and creating new things. Truly amazing, masks off to you speedy mouse!

Just found this channel when looking up where the cuddlefish eggs are and I love it! You've definitely earned a subscription from me. One thing I can't believe is the amount that your voice has gradually changed over the past couple years! If you are young enough that your voice just recently changed, you are making really high quality, amazing videos. I just turned 18 and I doubt I could make as good of videos as you can. Keep it up!!

You know you can put hatches on the roof of the l shaped pieces and climb directly onto the roof, right? It would make it easier to place the solar panel on top of the base and you can put foundations beside the l shaped piece from the roof.

At first, I thought you were going to start gathering the resources to build the rocket to get off the planet. My eyes were BUGGIN.
Reminds me so much of Rock Raiders for some reason, with the missions that have quick expanding lava threatening to close you in and isolate poor miners to their doom.
the strat: become a speedrunner, build the neptune rocket in 5 minutes and time the launch at the right time when the alien base already gets covered in lava

The bases get destroyed when the lava touches them.

3:02 If you build the thin tube extenders between the tubes (small upright tube),
you need less stairs and build higher with less.
Just dump a whole lot of titanium in cheap titanium lockers, and a few quartz
so you can get outside on top of the tubes. (re-use after)
This can actually become a contest on how high the lava rises, while surviving.
(No propulsion cannon flying allowed, especially with 40+ batteries.)
Also, a melon seed takes up only 1 inventory space, while a grower takes
only 2 titanium. That can obviate for many bottles of water
and many food items.

Hey I'm pretty sure you can climb the mountain islands summit on foot, I know I have done that without some elaborate building method but maybe I'm mistaken.
I've never seen someone repeat themselves more than 3 times using the same footage in less than 5 minutes.
