One word to describe it: Quality. In my top 3. Unfortunately I think Europe, both televote and juries, will not appreciate this. Hopefully I will be proven wrong.

Fantastic to see Norwegians reacting to our contribution this year. I think Norwegians probably are a bit biased, because this is music that hits us at home, right in the heart. The rest of Europe might not be as excited, but that's okay. As long as we send something we like ourselves, that's all that matters. If Europe doesn't want it, so what? I love Ulveham, the band, Gunnhild's voice, the drums, the guitar, the raspy whispers towards the end...couldn't be better.

I'm from Greece and i am really excited for this song! I have goosebumps everywhere when i hear it :) It awakens some primal mystical forces to whoever is a human i think.

I think if people knew what the lyrics are about and if it is is put into a modern context it would hit even harder.
Evil stepmother puts a spell on a girl, that can only be liftet if she (kills) drinks her brothers blood. Damned if she do and damned if she doesn't. Living in the woods, away from temptation, she by chance meet her stepmother. Overtaken by understandable hate, she attacs and kills her stepmother. Her curse is suddenly liftet, because her stepmother was pregnant with her half-brother. Her blood was also her half-brothers.
Modern context; If you tolerate this then your children will be next. It hits both ways in the Israel - Palestine conflict. By effort to kill her enemys beloved ones, she sealed the fate of her own beloved one. If you wage war on your enemys children...
