Noel my guy that better help shit was exposed for fake therapists. They don’t need to be genuinely licensed and can lead to people getting advice that could ruin their lives. To need therapy especially online means you need help and that help from unlicensed people could be harmful.

Please do not support better help. The therapists are criminally underpaid, the company sells your mental health info to advertising and media companies, and incentives are given for new clients so some therapists will ditch current clients just to start with new ones and get closer to fair pay. It's not a good company and most therapists dislike the company and what it is doing to the industry
Ik it’s hard putting yourself out there - but if you’re looking for therapist - look a local one up around your area. If you’re still looking for help online there are servers that can help you and connect you with others.
Thank you for the information. I respect the hustle but wish CZcamsrs would research the companies they have sponsorships with. There are a few companies (Current is one I have AWFUL personal experience with that I'm still dealing with 5 months, and $1800 I prob won't ever see, later) that many CZcamsrs are sponsored by who are really not good...
But this is therapy and mental health we're talking about, just adds a whole layer of BAD and it.
I never got a good feeling about that company, I hope Noel sees this and stops working with them in the future

It’s helped my sister tremendously. Obviously it’s not for everyone no form of therapy is one size fits all but for some people it definitely does help.
@@DJFaNaTiiC that's wonderful! i'm sure there are some genuinely good therapists on there, but i think this comment is referring to the fact that betterhelp has no licensing requirements for their "counselors." if memory serves, they're officially not called "therapists" bc that job title comes with requirements in licensing and schooling. but the company acts like they have just a bunch of licensed therapists ready to talk to people. when in reality, they probably have more unlicensed people than licensed, which means a much higher chance of the "counselor" or whatever on the other end being uneducated about important things in mental healthcare.
there are also many more problems that i can't remember atm but like a few years ago, their scammy business practices became a topic of conversation online - specifically on youtube, where a bunch of creators had been sponsored by betterhelp.
so, you may very well have had a great experience using betterhelp, but it probably won't be all that helpful for the majority of users. and noel may very well have gotten the bag with this sponsorship, but he's damaging his own reputation and the trust that viewers have in him.

But when you start looking for a counselor on there, there’s a description on the counselor and what certifications and education they have, and you can switch if you’re not feeling they can help you. As for the sponsorships I don’t see anything wrong with sponsor codes and reaching across multiple platforms to gain recognition and hopefully get more people some professional help
