  • AF is 13. She had a stroke when she was 12. She feels "eye fatigue" ever since the stroke.
She has headaches several times a week. She complains that her eyes get more tired when reading, and that she loses her place when reading. This began even prior to the stroke. Words come in and out of focus.
She completed a program of Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation to regain visual skills that she had had not developed prior to the stroke or lost due to the stroke. She is now able to read faster and is now able to comprehending reading material. She is less fatigued and has less eye strain. She has fewer headaches and is able to do near work for long periods of time.
