  • Muslims believe that the Quran is complete and untarnished. But how can we be certain that the Quran we have in our hands is the same Quran revealed to the Prophet Muhammad more than 1400 years ago?

Then Upton further inspection you find that even that’s not true because the first verse is actually very short compare to other verse like albaka ? Islam love to make very big claim but the claims could never hold it self up to scrutiny, like the Quran is straight from the mouth of god, or the Quran has been preserved letter to letter, prophet Mohamed was the greatest man ever, he is the best example of man kin, up on inspecting these claims none of them even comes close to what they claiming, in-fact it’s all the opposite lol

Old versions of Quran were burned in favor of new more perfect versions. Then, Osman chose the most trusty men between the companions of the Prophet who lived at that time, to do the job, and after they gathered a unit Quran, the Caliph ordered to burn the rest of Qurans. According to Sunni Muslim tradition, it was Abu Bakr (r. 632-634), the first caliph, who compiled The Quran, and Uthman who canonized the standard version of Quran since accepted and used by all Muslims worldwide; So was it Meka or Beka were The Prophet Muchmad (pbuh) was and was the Kaba in Beka?

    • @somewhereintime3028

Paleo Aram The old copies of Quran were written in the Arabic letters that had no indications of dots which distinguish their pronunciation when using the same consonant e.g. K letter that can be pronounced as Ka or Ki according to the local (different) dialects when it’s written without dots, although the meaning of the word can be the same. There were some different accents from different tribes in Arab itself, so the old copies of Quran were burnt to avoid wrong pronunciations that can result to different meaning (although we could decide the meaning by seeing the contexts), then they referred only to the one that had been standardized (putting the dots to indicate the correct pronunciations). As we know that that first/original scrolls of passages containing messages from Allah revealed to Muhammad (PBUH) were written/documented on papers, leathers, barks of trees and bones - these all still during the life of the prophet.

      @mohammadumam897 Před 2 lety

Please note that paper was not a thing when Mohammad received Quran. And he received it gradually, not all one book at the same time. Mohammad was illiterate so he could not write the revelation himself. So pieces of Quran were memorised and written on many mediums (animal skin, stone, tree bark etc) by Mohammad's companions immediately every time a revelation came. Of course not all of them were there with Mohammad at same time when revelation came, so some companions might have some parts and other companions had other parts. That's why compiling is needed after Mohammad's death
After copied and compiled, the collection of those manuscript were burnt. it is no means for getting rid of evidence. It is actually for these reasons:
      1. To remove confusion if non arabic speakers read them. Please note that although the recitation and the meaning (of early manuscript and modern quran) are exactly the same, the writing style of ancient arabic is little bit different and it may get confusing for non arab speakers.
      2. To avoid the manuscript from being (accidentally) treated disrespectfully. It is disrespectful when you step or sit on Quran even accidentally. If you have a book of quran that is ruined and torn apart, you better burn it instead of throwing it in the dump. So it is better to burn the manuscript altogether at that time. afterall the text has been copied and memorised (word by word) by many Mohammad's companions.
Who said the compiling of quran finished after 200-300 years? The compiling began around 12 years after Mohammad's death and it took another 12 to finish and standardize

If you say No! I will give you verses from your Hadith and know that u are not will to speak the truth.
Then why will you claim that the Qur'an is exactly the same as the one sent down to Prophet Muhammad??

Why will you cllaim that it is complete?

The first revelation was not the only one and the prophet met Gabriel (and some other angels) many times. There were witnesses when the prophet received other revelations. Can some Muslim please give me a well explained answer.
The very beginning of Islam is where Muhammad goes to a cave and an angel appears instructing him to read.
This whole event is very suspect for the following reasons and here is why
Why would an all knowing god via an angel tell an illiterate man to read???? Can he be all knowing????
The angel must have had some copy for Muhammad to read. Where is that copy ????
Surely that would have contained the first few verses of the Quran???????????
After the event he went to his wife who convinced him that he is now a prophet of god (she was not even a witness to the event)
Why would he then say later that a woman's testimony is worth half of a man's (a received revelation)
This means that whatever followed and the whole islamic faith is built on false testimony???????????

    • @osumanaaa9982
      @osumanaaa9982 Před 3 lety

I just saw your comment. I am no scholar but I hope my humble knowledge can help answer your questions.
The whole event is not suspicious but it was a revelation.
I don't really understand the first question. God is all-knowing, yes, but what does that have to do with the angel ordering the prophet to read?
This is how it has been reported. The angel appeared to him and asked him to read, but the prophet was illiterate so he responded "I am not read/ or / I cannot read" so the angel embraced him so hard that he thought his soul was going to leave his body. Then he asked a second and 3rd time and then the prophet finally asked "What do I read" and that's when the angel recited to him the first revelation of the Quran : “Read in the name of thy Lord who created; [He] created the human being from blood clot. Read in the name of thy Lord who taught by the pen: [He] taught the human being what he did not know.” (96:1-5)
The angel had no copy. He was there to reveal to him verses from the Quran.
His wife did not witness the event, but she saw his state and he told her what happened. She believed that he could be a prophet because he was known to be an outstanding, kind, truthful, honest and right person. She then took him to see her cousin who was a Christian scholar and from what he was told, he also confirmed to him and expressed his wish to live long enough to witness when the pagans will chase him out of Mecca (because he knew they would oppose worshiping one god). So here, the witnessing part has nothing to do. Needing 2 women's testimony is for other matters like inheritance witnessing etc... and even in that case, having one woman witness does not make it a 'false testimony' but maybe an 'incomplete one'. But again, Khadija (may God be pleased with her) was not an eye-witness since he was alone in the case.
Now, is the Islamic faith built on a false testimony? Not at all. That was the first, but not the last revelation that the prophet pbuh received from God through Gabriel. Companions witnessed sometimes when he would receive a revelation while riding a horse and the weight of the revelation would overpower the horse who struggles to stand up. The Quran itself is a miracle that has left the best poets and men of literature of that era (most likely the best in the history of Arabic literature) speechless as they knew it was impossible for an illiterate man to come up with something so eloquent that even they could not write. There were also many other miracles that happened during his time. So just because no one witnessed some of the events that happened does not mean they did not happen. And even without witnesses, there are scriptures supporting the legitimacy of the revelation prophet Muhammed pbuh received from God.

Every point of his is invalid once he outsources his critical thinking to the Hadith book. It’s hearsay, at best, but at worst, it’s conjecture and an ascribing of a partner to god. And how can we say the two witnesses had best intentions in their mind to bring forward the written inscriptions?
Secondly, How can the meanings not change in words after a century? For instance 'nice' is french word meant 'fool' in old French but now it means 'good' in English, and Semitic languages are no strange to such shift in meaning, then how can we believe the interpretations (translations) are correct in Quran that appears a century later?

In fact, Quran was written by people long after Mohammad's death. No original full manuscript has yet been discovered. How can you say that Quran is unchanged? Besides, who arranged the chapters? Muslims consider the Quran the perfectly preserved, eternal and unchanged. Yet, despite Muslims claiming that there were thousands of reciter’s at the time of Mohamed and for that reason there could be no loss of details of memory. We know from the Quran itself that the Verses for Stoning and Breastfeeding are missing, therefore the Quran contradicts itself and Muslims cannot then claim that the Quran is complete.
Moreover, We are now discovering that there are 37 different versions of the Quran with 93,000 variations between each variant. But if the Quran were really the actual divine words of god, it could never contain any imperfection or disparity, let alone be in error, misunderstood or questioned. Even the Rasm (basic texts) in the 6 oldest manuscripts are not even from the Uthmanic period, none of them are complete, and now we are finding that even these differ from each other in thousands of significant ways. The facts are that there is no such thing as "the Quran" there are many variants with many differences, meanings and even order of the Sura's. Therefore, it cannot be the inerrant perfect word of god in anyway whatsoever! There is no such thing as a single Quran anymore, and now the biggest deception in history perpetrated upon humanity has finally come out.

[Quran 39:1] THIS IS A REVELATION OF THE BOOK FROM ALLA , the Mighty and Wise.

The verse below also confirmed that Prophet Muhammad was teaching from book
[Quran 62:2] He is the One who sent to the gentiles a messenger from among them, to recite to them His revelations, purify them, and TEACHING THEM THE BOOK and wisdom. Before this, they had gone far astray.
Let us look the verse below which has both terms (the Quran and the Kitaba) in it.
[Quran 10:37] And this al-Quran is not such as could be forged by those besides Allah, but it is a verification of what is between your hands and explanation of The Book, there is no doubt in it, from the Lord of the worlds.
In the analysis of the verses above below we have
    Al-Quran means the reading.
    Al-Kitab means the BOOK.
Only when you read any given BOOK, you will know what's written in it.
And it was written on a honorable paper not skins as you claim:
    ﴿سورة عبس ١٣﴾ فِي صُحُفٍ مُكَرَّمَةٍ
    [Quran 80:13] On honorable paper.
    ﴿سورة عبس ١٤﴾ مَرْفُوعَةٍ مُطَهَّرَةٍ

Note: The word quran is the Arabic name of the Miqra. For a Jew the Miqra is the Torah portion which is read in synagogue, but for Christian is the Gospel portion read at mass; in other words the Bible itself, the reason why the Quran is said to be upon two stone tablets in heavens is because there are two testaments.

@@idris_haris_al-kalima Heaven is not physical its a spiritual place. Therefore if the "Quran" was actually on Stone tablets, then these would have fallen to Earth LONG ago.
However the "quran" is not even the Speech of Allah, because There is overwhelming evidence that it is not: Why did 'Uthman destroy other copies of the Qur'an, unless they contained variants? Why did Ibn Ma'sud refuse to hand over his copy for destruction? How do we know that 'Uthman's copy was different/better than any of the others? Also there is evidence that changes to the Qur'an continued after the time of 'Uthman:- Jam' Al-Qur'an Chapter 5 - The Seven Different Readings
There are Hadiths which say the Qur'an is incomplete, Both the Qur'an and the Sunna give evidence that some of the Qur'an was lost, forgotten, or abrogated: There are further evidences of whole surahs said to be missing from the Qur'an as it is today.
Narrated A’isha: "During the time of the prophet, the chapter of the Parties used to be two hundred verses when read. When Uthman edited the copies of the Qur’an, only the current verses were recorded "Ubay ibn Ka’b: "This companion asked one of the Muslims, ‘How many verses in the chapter of the Parties’ He said, ‘Seventy-two or seventy-three verses.’ He (Ubay) told him, ‘It used to be almost equal to the chapter of the Cow (about 286 verses) and included the verse of the stoning.
This was narrated by Maalik in al-Muwatta’ (Kitaab ar-Ridaa‘, hadith no. 17), and via him by Imam Muslim (1452) and others. We may note here that the report of Imam Maalik from ‘Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr includes mention of the story of the goat or tame sheep eating pages of the Mus-haf.:
The standard Narrative itself reveals that the Quran is incomplete and inconsistent, and Muslims cannot then claim that the Quran is uncorrupted or perfectly preserved. If the Qur'an truly is uncorrupted, why does the Muslim world not publish the oldest Qur'an manuscripts? What is there to hide? Yet more importantly we are now finding there a 37 different Variants which exist in present-day manuscripts and by simply comparing existing manuscripts, it can be shown that not all Qur'an manuscripts are the same. Therefore, the TRUTH is that the Qur'an has NOT been perfectly preserved but has been corrupted by Man and is not reliable that even some of it came from Allah

LET THE QURAN SPEAK, question should be asked, DR. SHABIR ALLY, how could we be sure Quran Allah wrote before any creation, same Quran 'Uthman reproduced after burning Abu Bakr's Quran??? Note that Allah did not give any surah to 'Uthman, as he did to Muhammad as a guarantor of Quran that 'Uthman did not add or delete any surah in his edition of Quran.

The argument he gives about manuscripts from various places is exactly the same as for the Bible. Except there are much more ancient manuscripts as far as the Bible is concerned. And that they have been corrupted of course.

Muslims consider the Quran perfect in the following respects:
Quranic inerrancy is a doctrine central to the Muslim faith that the Quran is the infallible and inerrant word of God. It is supposed to free of any doubts; it teaches absolute reality. divinity, perfection and unchangeability on the basis of the eternal knowledge of the All-Knowing God in His own WORDS.
Yet, we now discover that there are 32 different versions with 90,000 variations.
It has become very clear why Muslims are so fearsome in the defence of the Quran being Questioned and in many cases, doing so brings cries of Blasphemy.
The reason is that If the Quran were really the Actual words of God, it could NEVER contain any imperfection or disparity let alone be misunderstood or questioned.
Therefore, it CANNOT be perfect in anyway WHATSOEVER !

Why you didn't provide evidence when you had a debate with Dr. Jay Smith? So the manuscript Jay Smith provided to you were not valid?
You need to speak the truth. The issue of this Qur'an is a big problem because all Muslim scholars have different interpretation on this issue.

Why is it necessary to have pretty female faces with make-up on the host seat.
You may be a very pious with lot of control over your senses & feelings, but we as an audience are simple & sinful muslims.
There should'nt be female attractions when we are trying to learn deen.
