  • For a long time, people have puzzled over the organization and structure of the Quran.
Some non-Muslims have described the Quran as a meaningless jumble. But recent
studies, particularly in the field of literary analysis, give us greater insight into the
Quran’s arrangement. To learn more about the beauty and harmony of the structure of
the Quran, we turn to our resident scholar, Dr. Shabir Ally.

You think Allah told converts to learn Aramaic and study the Qur'an? This is why Islam is False. It's based on a book that supposedly is a direct message from God in aramaic (through an angel of course) but it hasn't been preserved over time and is unnecessary we already had the new and old testament of the bible. Wish you the best as we all worship one God. Thanks for reading this with an open mind and peace be to all muslims.

Yes, and the key to realize Quran is from God or not is to read it with Good intention (it does not mean you should not use your reason).
It means Start reading it by trusting the words, and the proofs will DAWN on you, in a accumulative process.
A person may have a doubt or question about the meaning of some verses, mostly due to the lack of knowledge of the context, why the surah answer a particular man .. and or why it talked about certain subject, when the answer maybe for example: because they were about to meet the pagans in a war.. hence the passage came like that, or as a lesson after an event that just occurred.
This would help immensely in understanding the reasons of the verses.
But one should start with Good intention, meaning putting trust in God who would not let his people without Guidance.. read assuming that God is just, merciful and wise.. if that is the case, the person will be guide. If not and you read it from neutral stance, you will still be guided in a different way, science etc.. that will proof to you it is the word of god, despite some misunderstanding on the person behalf and or certain doubt....
But reading it to find a mistake, especially to convince yourself that there is no god or Islam is wrong, so that you can live free from rules.. the result that person will go astray. And here is the proof:

      Quran 3 (2-9)
( 2 ) Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence."
      It states what to believe
( 3 ) He has sent down upon you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming what was before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel."
Remind Christians and Jews that God send books
( 4 ) Before, as guidance for the people. And He revealed the Qur'an. Indeed, those who disbelieve in the verses of Allah will have a severe punishment, and Allah is exalted in Might, the Owner of Retribution
confirm Truth of Quran and warn the disbeliever reader.
( 5 ) Indeed, from Allah nothing is hidden in the earth nor in the heaven."
warns that God know the hidden intention, which include the reader's intention.
( 6 ) It is He who forms you in the wombs however He wills. There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise."
Reminds us of our creation, so knowing our intention is even easier
( 7 ) It is He who has sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the Book; in it are verses [that are] precise - they are the foundation of the Book - and others unspecific. As for those in whose hearts is deviation [from truth], they will follow that of it which is unspecific, seeking discord and seeking an interpretation [suitable to them]. And no one knows its [true] interpretation except Allah. But those firm in knowledge say, "We believe in it. All [of it] is from our Lord." And no one will be reminded except those of understanding."
here it warns the possible ill intention of the reader.and the end of that verse instruct the reader to put trust in God about and his book.
( 8 ) [Who say], "Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower"
urge to pray for guidance, and not to deviate (like having that ill intention about his verses)
Of course verse 7 is the proof. but Notice the surrounding verses:
There are more within these verses.. by no mean it is only "reading of the meaning of the verse" . That is the reading for any doubter with ill intention person who wants to believe that there is no God , or that islam is wrong, so he or she may leave free after he eliminate a possible religion which require from him works.
I repeat good intention will be the key of understanding the Quran. Then Reason will convince you too.. But if you start with ill intention, you will risk going astray and miss the meaning, God knows best.
      May we all be guided.Amen.

@@sutil5078 it's not the good intention the key point here otherwise no unbeliever could ever be benefited from Quran, it is the sincerity in seeking the truth which is the key requirement in understanding the Quran, the purity of hearts just make it easy for us to get rid of the layers of darkness around our sight and to appreciate the verses in the way which it's author (god) has willed. Theoph ... Quran 3 (2-9) answers your question
( 2 ) Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence." It states what to believe
( 3 ) He has sent down upon you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming what was before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel." Remind Christians and Jews that God send books
( 4 ) Before, as guidance for the people. And He revealed the Qur'an. Indeed, those who disbelieve in the verses of Allah will have a severe punishment, and Allah is exalted in Might, the Owner of Retribution confirm Truth of Quran and warn the disbeliever reader.
( 5 ) Indeed, from Allah nothing is hidden in the earth nor in the heaven." warns that God know the hidden intention, which include the reader's intention.
( 6 ) It is He who forms you in the wombs however He wills. There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise." Reminds us of our creation, so knowing our intention is even easier
All [of it] is from our Lord." And no one will be reminded except those of understanding." here it warns the possible ill intention of the reader, and the end of that verse instruct the reader to put trust in God about and his book.
( 8 ) [Who say], "Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower" urge to pray for guidance, and not to deviate (like having that ill intention about his verses) Of course verse 7 is the proof.
But notice the surrounding verses: There are more within these verses.. By no mean it is only "reading of the meaning of the verse" . That is the reading for any doubter with ill intention person who wants to believe that there is no God , or that Islam is wrong, so he or she may live free after he eliminate a possible religion which require from him works. I repeat good intention will be the key of understanding the Quran. Then Reason will convince you too.. But if you start with ill intention, you will risk going astray and miss the meaning, God knows best. May we all be guided.Amen.

There are millions of books these days with more advanced and technical info than the Quran. Nothing in the Quran exceeds the knowledge of the time when it was "revealed". There is nothing special going on with this badly written book.
Also, why not use direct communication for all humans, just like Muhammad supposedly was given? Him having a line with Allah did not affect his free will. So, give it to all humans and let them make up their mind whether to believe it or not. But no, we have to take the word of 1 person (Muhammad) that he had a direct line with God. Right.... nonsense. There are also so many revelations that were circumstantial and that benefitted Muhammad.
Every time Muhammad recieved a revelation (form of telepathy) it resulted in him having huge physical reactions. Elon Musk is also working on a way to use telepathy (Brain Link) while his tech will not result in people getting a red face or sweating or shaking or whatever. So Elon can do something that Allah cannot? Communicate without somebody showing the symptons of an epileptic attack?
