- One of the duties that the Queen took most seriously was her weekly meetings with the prime minister of the day.
There were fifteen in total, nearly all of whom enjoyed private weekly audiences, during which they could discuss whatever they liked.
Tom Bradby spoke to David Cameron about those meetings and the relationship he developed with the Queen during his six years in office.
