what the fuck are we doing lads
New Manager Bingo.
Lol đ đ€Ł so true.
Was gonna say the same thing. Jesus Christ Gary O'Neil
@@elfunko8573why is it? Do you know something concrete that the rest of us do not. Edwardâs will do the right thing and employ the right person for the job. Anyone question Sir Kenny getting the job, Roy Evans or Bill Shankly. Christ I f%cking hate this modern whining world. Judge the new manager when in post not before a bloody ball has been kicked.
We really are scraping the barrel. Great manager but he simply isnât an elite manager.
Hughes got rid of O'Neil as he saw he could get a better manager. No way Hughes is now gonna turn around and say he is a liverpool manager
ExactlyâŠ
Someone last week commented that Neil Jones doesnât say anything that everybody doesnât already know & now I canât stop thinking it every time he talks đ
Always been the case
The fact Redmen made a segment of Gary Fucking O' Neill has me depressed. đ
I feel like with managers you arenât really gonna know if theyâre good enough until they get the job.
Like if you said thereâs this player thatâs managing Mainz, you wouldnât even consider him for a prem job let alone for Liverpool. Thatâs where klopp started. Just have faith and donât write people off so easy
We Need Somebody Thatâs Going To Make Players Want To Come To Liverpool.
such as...?
This would be another Rodgers but will end badly even quicker
Heâd make Rodgerâs look like Bob Paisley.
Be absolutely ridiculous
Rogers who came within a WHISKER of winning the league, partly due to a moment of sh*tty sh*tty luck and with a much sh*tter side than Klopp?
Scraping the barrel.....seems a bit of desperation mind set going for O'Neil
After reading this comment section, Iâm quite looking forward to the Gary OâNeil era.
Rather take Stevie then these other names we have been linked with... whats going on!? Gary O'Neil? Mourinho? Slotter? Mike Bassett?
i have heard Ted Lasso is also being considered!
Slotter đđ
Who would you suggest instead?
Nah I wouldn't want the frank lampard incident with Gerrard at liverpool.my hero cannot become someone I want sacked which I would because he isnt good enough for Liverpool
@@nglforbes As much as i agree i'd find it hard to get any of these guys whereas i could get behind a Gerrard or 100% Pep Ljinders. Now hearing it's Slotter....
Will get behind and support whoever gets the job BUT this is not looking good. No disrespect to OâNeil but if we are seriously considering him then we are setting our sights low. At the very least the manager incoming should have success on their resume ie winning trophies either here or abroad.
Iâm afraid we are victims of klopps success and our love for him. Amorin,Alonso havenât experienced the premiership as managers, plus they are both young and in the latter , West Ham probably fits his entry into the league and a stepping stone.
I said Gary OâNeil weeks ago and got told to F off , remember heâs had / having premier league experience & I wouldnât be at all surprised if we arenât interested , plus he has nothing to lose
Itâs so clear Fsg and edwards want a yes man. They clearly want to go down the red bull route where the DOFâs are more important than the manager. That donât fucking win you trophies tho does it! The main issue is from the top, always. Fsg donât want to win trophies cos it cost them in bonuses. Theyâre happy with top 4. Itâs not a secret. Amorim has everything we need in a manager and heâs apparently not the right one. Then what the fuck are we looking for? Oh yeh, probably a manager that wonât cost us a big buyout and a manager who always says âyes sir.â
Salzburg and Leipzig win trophies though....most clubs are run like that.
We will be bournemouth fcâ@@Ruscococo1
You really are a tool.
Football has evolved. Klopp had the full reigns the last two years and we went downhill. Klopps best time was when he had a dof above him. Went downhill when Edwards left
So you dont think a club winning, it's value increasing etc is in FSG's interests? Hmmm wonder why they developed Anfield and our training complex then?
The model of football is very common these days, it ensures continuity rather than being 100% dependent on a manger doing EVERYTHING. That way he can be a specialist coach and not necessarily have to play head scout too?
You have no idea why we probably arent getting Amorim. just a typical noisy internet fan making assumptions. There was a possibility put forward by Redmen TV that MAYBE Amorim REFUSED to adapt his style/formation, meaning we would have to go BONKERS in the transfer market to satisfy what he'd need. Like it or not, unless you are Chelsea or City FFP etc matters...
Arne Slot is leading candidate for the job reporting by Paul Joyce đ
No he isnât itâs as simple as that.
"He's less qualified than Brendan Rodgers"...? What does it mean to be "qualified" here? How can we know? Some appointments work, others don't. For example, was Guardiola "qualified" when Barca appointed him in 2008? He had no prior experience, yet he has turned out to be a fantastic manager. You never really know.
Stupid example to use, Pep was in the Barca system, Laporta and his team would have seen enough of him to give him a chance and keep this in mind, Pep had Cryuff vouching for him
A Wolves side who sold all their best players and where tipped for relegation and now behind everyone's beloved De Zerbi by a point. He knows the club and has improved every single Wolves player. Inzaghi for me should be number 1 won everything bar champions League with Inter and works on a strict budget.
Hansi Flick also not a bad choice for liverpool if Amorim not joining
You have to trust Edwards with whatever he does. One thing for sure, people in the CZcams comments and Twitter will not be able to have a nuanced conversation about this đ.
The latest news is that Amorim will NOT join West Ham, and he's just asked Liverpool FC for improved financial terms. Allegedly he wants a 3-year contract and 10m net a year. If true, it means he's just using West Ham as a bargaining chip to improve his future contract at Liverpool. If true, I wouldn't want someone like that to manage Liverpool.
We should get Jamie down the pub, he'll do it for 200 quid
according to....?
@@jameshansing5396 My grandma.
What's the difference between O'Neil and Amorim? at least O'Neil has midtable premier league experience, this is making Gerrard more attractive.
Anyone else looking forward to the UEFA Conference League qualification battle with United next season. Holy F!!!
O'Neill says a bit about where the club's mindset is, even with Slot it does a little bit. But unfortunately not a lot of solid, good options out there
I think we should go for Tuchel, probably a stop gap until the managerial landscape changes, but will keep us competitive in the interim.
Imagine we're still in January and we somehow get a brief glimpse into the future and catch this clip! FFS
Fuck no, I'd rather have Gerrard!
Or Pep
...our Pep, that is!
@@ph8077 I honestly thought that would be the perfect next step! He knows the system, like Liverpool of old!
As long as we donât get Moyes. đ±
Iâm all for choosing someone who isnât one of the hipsterâs choices like Amorim or Motta⊠but Gary OâNiel? Jesus Christ
who then..?
Out of the two, I'd prefer Jesus Christ I think.
Antonio Conte top secret for manager his ship is in liverpool.
I know O'Neil worked for liverpool when klopp first came in so has a understanding of the club so maybe he's a short term option that Hughes and Edwards are looking at till they get the guy they want long term
Hell no . Just do that with amorim if that's the case , or anyone . Doesn't even make sense why would he take a interim job , while he's already got a job
They knew since November that Klopp is leaving, the only reason why we wouldn't be able to bring in a proper manager is because we are trying to lowball them
â@@dzeklakovic7568 Exactly
Did we really went from Xabi to Amorim then to GARY O'NEIL?! Oh my days we are screwed..
You do realise that these fan channels just make stuff up to create content for their channel? No-one but LFC knows who the next manager will be, this lot are just guessing.
I'd rather we bring in Gerrard now. It could be a win win scenario. If he does well fantastic, but if its a shitshow we could go back for Alonso the following season.
Please bring in Gerard đđ
He stunk the place out at Villa, and been useless in Dubai, it would be amazing for all other clubs fans đ
Gerrard you are jokingđđđAlmost destroyed Villa. He isn't welcome here.
Got a horrible feeling we are looking for a stop gap manager while we wait for Xabi.
Xabi isnât coming, no more than Bellingham ever was.
Xabi will choose Real Madrid if he keeps winning
The problem with Klopp going is wrong timing. There literally arenât any fresh elite managers out there itâs quite a poor state of affairs because most are at the beginning of plying their trade still only 1 or 2 clubs managed in to their careers so this is a vital decision for the club and could backfire massively. Obvs Edwards and Hughes will be studying but the only two realistic choices had to have been Alonso and Amorim because let me tell you Gary o Neil managing us or even being mentioned true or not true says not a lot of options really. You honestly reckon most of those players at the club will want to work with o Neil full time and long term? I donât think so. Hopefully itâs Amorim and the West Ham rumours are just false.
Rafa , Ged , J K all won a big domestic title before moving to the #Reds . Roy Evans , B R , Woy didn't .
Who we speaking to next?? Mark Robins?
Let's not lose our heads about this. No one outside the club know what's really happening, the club hired Klopp, they'll hire a manager that suits our status and trophies we're aiming for!
Itâs like we are back before klopp came in.
Inazghi, Simone. I would even take conte ffs.
@@kyledunn1303 Simone??? Plays the complete opposite football to klopp and would bore us with defensive football and slimey tactics. Half the team wouldn't fit Simone tactics, we've got a team that loves to press and win the ball high up the pitch. The day we become a Simone or mourinho team who just sit behind the ball we know our era of being on of the best teams in the world is over.
Outside of Alonso and Amorim, no one available is good enough. Especially if this manager must not fail to get a major trophy (league or UCL) within his debut season to make it an acceptable season.
Inzaghi is.
Proper finished if this is the type of conversations weâre having
Gary poxy OâNeil
I'm confused on why everyone is saying Almorim won't come to Liverpool now?
Heâs one of the best young managers around tho whether heâs ready for this I donât know. Liverpool could do much worse.
How the mighty have fallen Gary o Neil
Gotta be a Manc comment, struggling to finish in the top 8 đ
@@MrWho007 A Wolves side who sold all their best players and where tipped for relegation and now behind everyone's beloved De Zerbi by a point. He knows the club and has improved every single Wolves player.
â@MrWho007 so can we tbh going ahead in the future if we ain't careful
silly bitter comment there are many candidates for the Liverpool job and we donât know who theyâll hire
rent free and Liverpool are in the title race so your waffling makes no sense
I can't believe this .. This could very messy
I've heard that it's Pep Lijnders as he has not signed with Ajax and Bekitas but they are keeping it a secret for now.
From Klopp to this twonk...goodnight & good luck!
A Key issue here is Edwards is data driven, that never works when selecting managers. Data only points to 30% of a picture, it never shows complexity of issues . Xavi is quitting Barcelona, and has proven himself wining La Liga with no budget. Miguel Ăngel SĂĄnchez of Girona, 3 seasons in La Liga, no budget, 14,0000 capacity ground, will finish 3rd in La Liga, was up there till 4 weeks ago. You still have Dortmund Manager Edin TerziÄ , use to managing big club with 80,000 capacity crowds. Picking managers from prem league outside top 5, is road to disaster
I do like OâNeil as a manager he has done well BUT donât think he is ready or right for LiverpoolâŠ.my preferences are Alonso, Amorim, Motta, Slot
I'll say this for Gary - until he took over @ B'mouth, Solanke was going nowhere and doing nothing and now he's playing something like the very talented player he promised to be when he was in our youths, and I credit him with that. When he was a player, I'd hoped we'd sign him; not as a 1st 11 but as a reliable sub, because he was very clever and usually did the simple things very well (something we were in short supply of at the time). Maybe in the future, but not yet.
Gary OâNeill does fist pumps like Klopp to be fair
Heâs also had 6 points stolen from him and an injury list as abysmal as Liverpool. If he was challenging for the 4 or 5 slot in the table (by rights he should be) people would have a very different tone.
@@macriggland6526 Yeah he's a decent manager, but maybe the Liverpool job might be a huge step at this moment.
Thiago Motta has been doing great with Bologna, they are about to qualify to champions league.
#PakoAyestaran is assistant boss @ #AstonVilla
Hughes sacked O'Neill after a great job keeping Bournemouth up. There's no way we get him
it's an interesting shout and you can see why united were sniffing around. It'd obviously be an enormous gamble and he doesn't have champions league/European experience
We shouldn't be looking at United when they are sacking their manager basically every other season
We need Zidane!
Get Jose M in on a 1 year deal until Xabi Alonso is ready . Jose to steady the ship until Xabi is ready and available
It looks like FSG and Edwards are not looking for serious choices... there is Flick, Inzagi and Nagellsman but we are looking to restart the project, what a joke... Top 4 and banter era are back
No
Not a Snowballs chance in Hell.
Rather bring in Gerrard and go in for Alonso next season if Gerrard fails
What do you mean *IF* he fails...look at Villa now!
Tuchel is a very good tactician and may fit in better with the Liverpool way of doing things than at Bayern or PSG - even if it's short term. Liverpool need a manager who is confident at the highest level.
Tuchel tends to fall out with players and management so, he'd be a risk
â@@Elg-24 Yes, granted, but I have the feeling Liverpool is the one club where he might feel he has a certain freedom in what he does. He's obviously a bit of a rebel but Liverpool likes rebels. It will take a bit of a character to say the least to take over from Klopp and what I fear is a Potter at Chelsea situation or a Moyes at United.
How long till big Sam is on the list.
In this era of tactically astute managers I am averse to going for just a "motivator" and it's the new breed of managers which I believe is the reason Klopp is calling it a day; he knows his tactical inflexibility and inability to outmanoeuvre the opposition manager and rely on his usual 4-3-3 and set instructions are no longer cutting it; we have had poor results against Arsenal for example.
Amorim or De Zerbi for me. Understand it's a question of money for Amorim and pleased to hear it isn't about philosophy or hierarchical set up. The money gap can be bridged. Get this over the line Michael Edwards please! With the Lavia, Caicedo debacle our standards have dropped - now that Edwards is back a swift, no-nonsense managerial appointment of Amorim will demonstrate a reinstatement of our lofty standards of pure professionalism and efficiency in matters relating to appointments.
đđđđThe same Klopp who has an injury hit squad joint top of the league with VAR the only reason we aren't about 5 points clear. I hope we have a horrible season next season so clowns like you realise what we had.
we're a mess
Damn, Liverpool is about to put us fans into depression mood very soon. Cheap owners don't wanna pay release clause
In a word no. Although in the future who knows as I think he's an excellent manager & has big potential. However that aside, I'll be VERY disappointed if Amorim goes to bloody West Ham instead of us?!? Not keen on any of the other known candidates. Some really poor options being talked about here. WTF is actually happening? I'm concerned. It's now occurred to me that it's becoming more & more likeky the next manager is a just a stop gap.
Heard he failed the Interview
Absaloutly no frigging way. No where near the level we should be looking at, he hasnt had the experience so it would be a huge risk.
Just hoping this is a very late April Fools Joke.
I'd consider Stevie now, no messin
Richard Hughes believes he is not good enough for Bournemouth, what about Liverpool.
Bourrmaff ?? đ
Choosing the wrong coach due to financial reasons, or if he is under management and accepts anything, will lead to Liverpool falling into the abyss
The coach is the captain of the ship and is the one who guides him to safety
FSG and Edwards, after he has a share in FSG, will become like them in thinking because it is all about profits and money in the pockets.
Liverpool abandoned Amorim for financial reasons and wants to have control and say in the choices???
Mourinho-Conte - Tuchel
I do not think that options are possible because they will expose FSG's stinginess to the world
This is one of the reasons why Klopp has run out of energy, which is the dirty management.
In the end, they are the owners of the investment
Being stingy with a few million will cost the project team and the end of FSG
They are good at cheating and manipulating the media and it is a sustainable model
Simply after a kloop period
We want a coach to win titles
If FSG has the ambition, let's go
If not, then let them sell the club to someone who values the aspirations of the fans
We are tired of the toxic atmosphere in the FSG period. There is nothing smooth about it
Drama drama
Give José Mourinho 2 years contract
What are we doing ?
Out of all options that are on the table, Gary o'Neil must be the most boring pick of them all. Might as well be a wet blanket. He's done an alright job at Wolves and Bournemouth, but nothing spectacular, theres nothing to get excited about with him.
This is cause don't want to pay big fee for manager I think
The names we are linked with is very worrying. None of these managers are good enough. Might aswel call Rodgers back FFS đ€ŠđŒââïž worrying times ahead
I don't know why we aren't getting Amorin? Provided he wants to join us over West Ham, why aren't we?
Could it be his formation would mean a squad overhaul, which Edwards and Co, have taken into consideration.
@mohsdef Maybe, but is formation the be all and end all? Players are adaptable and we have a broad range of styles of player. I'd rather change formation than change from pressing to park the bus. Its strange.
He wants to be one of the top 2 paid managers in the league, apparently, and Liverpool don't agree with his valuation of himself.
He wants 10m a year
We need âbounce-back-abilityâ we need Dowie. If not, then Neil Warnock to be parachuted in from his country abode in Devon.
whoever we get were doomed. how the fk can you replace jurgen. hes the best manager in the world.
Absolutely no way
If it's not Amorim, then Unai Emery must be considered
he extended with villa this morning
Next GrahamPotter
Really like him and think he will be a top manager but way too soon for him
Can we get him cheap enough more like it
Looks like Varys from game of thrones is our next manager ffs. How do you go from klopp to Arne slot Iâd rather have Arnie Scwartzenneger. De zerbi or Mourinho Iâm not assed about what people say about Mourinho heâs a proven winner and would do well with us. Forget the history with Mourinho he would come in with passion and do his best and make us winners
This is becoming an absolute mess. Weâve got three guys who are up for contracts three of our best players and weâre filling around and we canât settle on a manager. In this video talks about absolutely nothing. Not looking promising at the moment.
I'd rather bring Roy Hodgson back than bringing O'Neil in. đ
Only read the headline , are you f***ing kidding
Motta??
i think hes a good manager and it wouldnt be hod*son levels but my word...........would be incredibly underwhelming
Need a big name đ
Bring back Hodgson
I would go for Antonio Conte now give him a 2 year deal
Conte is good for two seasons the he starts whining
He is a winner id rather have conte than any of the spoken about ones
Emery would be nice as well we cannot get a gaffer whos still learning his trade
Conte is a top manager with nothing to prove
No it would be Rodgerâs or Hodgson all over heâs done nothing at Bournemouth. If Liverpool want to win the league any new manager has to have won a title as a minimum
What the hell is this club doing?
Weâre not even getting our 5th choice managers & players now? Itâs embarrassing
What's happening Liverpool? are we now at the stage where we got names in a pot and just blind picking one out? If that's the case why not the Ipswich manager? has had a great season with them...please liverpool get it sorted...UP THE REDS!!!!
Big Sam is coming!
Let us rot for a couple of seasons so all these clowns disrespecting Klopp realise what we had.
