- Josh Peloquin of Eau Claire, Wisc., out testing his '71 Dodge Demon 340 with a pair 275 drag radials this year after years of running a 29.5/10.5 tire. Powered by a Dodge 540CI Indy Maxx Aluminum block with stage 6 heads, 727 trans, Dana 60 rearend with leaf spring suspension Josh rips off a 8.93@148.90 mph on his first pass! Very impressive with mufflers not to mention it sounds awesome and you can bet it's a blast to drive on the street! #mopar #demon #musclecar

Sweet ride, kinda makes me wonder though. They stopped production over it's "Demon" badge, leaving the Dart Sport to fill the gap. You could get your Dart Sport with everything the Demon came with, and they are so overlooked because they, as I was told, "ain't a Demon". Is it coded Demon, or is it a tribute car? I never got that part of the story...still a kick ass launch and run, can't argue that part a bit...Mopar rocks!!!
