    I'm just getting back into riding. I'm a muscular 220 lbs, and thought based on my prior experience with 2 stroke 250's and at my current size, a 450 may suit me. I watched this video, and it got my brain turning. Long story short, I ended up getting an 2022 Husky FC-350. It's an amazing bike, and it has way more power than I'll ever need. The engine tech has improved over the years. lol. Honestly, I feel like the video kind of under-stated the power of this bike, probably since you're evaluating it from the pro perspective. And, lastly, I'm very glad I didn't get a 450. ^_^

      The KTM's (and Husky/GasGas) do very well with a WP Cone Valve / Trax setup... My son rides with this suspension and everytime I borrow the bike it feels brilliant. KTM's tend to be very sensitive to rear sag, we have to check it regularly after tensioning the chain. A bit off and the bike feels less great.

    My friend let me try he's 2021 Husqvarna 350 and I was amazed on how it felt. I didn't opened it up because it was on wet grass but compared to my 07 RM125 it felt more agile. Hope to come out racing some more next year and maybe I put down the money for a slight used 250F og 350F.
    I'm no pro-rider I'm actually more a potato sack on a dirt bike kind of rider. So I have to try some different machines and ccm's to finde what's fits me.
    Is it true that a 250F is required more service and maintenance than the 350 and 450's?

    • @The_OD1
      @The_OD1 Před 2 lety

      Whilst 250Fs technically require the same amount of maintenance as what 350 and 450Fs do, you typically push the motor and run it in higher rev ranges leading to more wear. Because of the nature of the bigger bikes there are less points when your into it peaking the bike out (unless your pro), and so the motor isn't worked as hard and doesn't burn oil/kill plugs as fast.

    Suspension on 450 looked way more predictable and stable
    Just watched to end, get some good suspension on 350 and lil bit of setup
    2 seconds slower on a bike he rode for first time not set up for him is flying......I figured 5-8 sec b4 he set off.....well done

      He’s about 120 soaking wet. If dudes really really believed they are constantly faster on a 350, why aren’t they racing them in 450 class? It’s totally legal. All the KTM/husky/gas gas guys are pretty well getting beat by Honda’s, Yamahas, and Kawis. They could ALL switch to a 350 if they wanted and catch back up and pass these idiots riding 450s, let’s see it!!

      @@KosmicHRTRacingTeam because they are guys and they think a 450 is bigger so therefore better. Several people have proven that the 350 is more than enough. Toni is 155lbs, same as most throttle jockeys

      AC hasn't been on a 350 for years now as the 450 is way better now than it was , plus he used to use the older frames with the newer engines in his 350 as they don't have to use standard frames in Europe

      Jeffrey and Tony trashed the entire field at the MXON in Lommel in 2012, both on 350's, very heavy sandtrack, it was awesome ♥
      The main reason to use the 450 is the start...

    Get a new Honda. Best of both worlds. Better handling and narrow chassis that is similar or better than the orange bikes, and the suspension being similar to the Kawi.
