I'm never trusted Garnet's interpretation of Pink. I definitely think there's more to who she really was than being a petty child pretending to be a queen.
Chip Noir Same here. Garnet described Pink as a spoiled monster, but Pink’s actions don’t match. She took humans as trophies - the other Diamonds had no interest in preserving organic life - and made sure they were well cared for (though you could argue Blue took over the Zoo’s operation after Pink died, and the Zoo under Pink’s reign could’ve been a hellhole). Her first species of Gem Warriors, Rose Quartzes, were given abilities that benefit organic life more than Gems (healing, resurrection, giving sentience to plants, etc.). And Pink’s palanquin has 5-petal flowers worked into the walls, similar to the 5-pointed Star that’s part of the Crystal Gem movement.
She just seemed much more careful than the other Diamonds. They all seem like cold, heartless leaders, but she just seemed way more chilled and caring.

Pink Diamond as a Crystal Gem would definitely be a plot twist. Although I don't want them to redeem every "villain" in the series.
OST Oh, I highly doubt Yellow is going to be redeemed. Pained or not, she's ruthless and nasty.
I want her to have a resolution, not being redeemed or shattered, but having a resolution to her character nonetheless, one that isn't predictable or cliche
It could be that PD wasn't actually a villain, and the show might portray PD more as a victim rather than an antagonist, but we will see. One of the many things I like about this show is how all the characters are multi-dimensional, even the diamonds. It's really hard to call them cold and callous villains, because they have been shown to have some emotion. It will be interesting to see how the series resolves with them.

You just know something related to Pink Diamond is gonna be in that chest in Lion's Mane. Why else would Rose not have the means to unlock it immediately available to her? Lion has consistently been shown to contain stuff important to Rose (and stuff she intentionally let Steven have access to, such as her pre-recorded message to him), meaning whatever is in that chest is either deliberately being presented as something big but will turn out to be nothing, or (as I hope it will be) something that Steven will need to realise the importance of via flashback or dream. I also imagine the way Steven will unlock it will be one of three ways; he will A. Smash it/have it smashed by one of the crystal gems, B. Shapeshift his finger to fit the lock/have one of the crystal gems unlock it, or C. Take it into Rose's room and ask it for a key that fits the lock (much like how he attempted to summon the object that the key for Rose's dump unlocked, assuming it was hidden within Rose's room, only this time the object in question will be physically present within the room).

I want to suggest something that's probably wrong. What if Pink helped designed the quartzes? I mean, there's the leader, White, the diplomat, Blue, the General, Yellow, and there's pink, who could be the designer. Maybe she was given a test to design different gems to prove she was worthy and she designed the Amethysts Jaspers and Rose Quartzes. Just a thought.
She seems the creative type. But all I can imagine is her in a board meeting, with all her gem designs done in macaroni, glue, and sparkles.
Here’s what I think, instead of PD being 100% alive it might be a similar situation with Steven and Rose. Rose herself is long dead, but her gem lives on in her son, Steven. The same *might* be said about Pink Diamond and her *theoretical* child. Pink Diamond and Rose are both long dead, but their actual gemstones could still be out there. I’m not sure what character said it, but when Steven asked if there were others(half gem beings) like him alive, one of the crystal gems was not able to say yes or no entirely.

I just think Slice Of Otaku breaks things down better and explains things in more detail and I like that aspect about him a lot. Crystal Clear is great on thinking of amazing theories but sometimes I have a hard time following his train of thought, but I appreciate the gist of his theories
I honestly think Slice of Otaku needs to be an official member of The Roundtable. They are all amazing, have super great theories, discuss theories by other people, and break them all down very logically whether it supports or disproves the theories. But I will agree Slice of Otaku definitely does a FANTASTIC job at putting as much detail and reasoning into his discussions as possible. He is often a guest of The Roundtable and included into their group discussions but I think it's long overdue that he be an official member. I also think it's long overdue for him to have some merchandise for his fans to show support. I have the crystal clear shirt as you can see in my profile pic, but I still need my Slice of Otaku. I wanna show my love for both dammit lolz
Maybe pink diamond will be around but rather physically she will be alive and communicate with Steven in his mind through an astral projection. After all Steven has empathy powers and he could have gotten that from Rose and since Rose was made for pink diamond I imagine she would have the same power which was something homeworld probably didn't see that kind of ability useful with the way how gems work. Or we could see her resurrected by Steven like in your previous theory Vox. After all we still don't know what Steven's healing powers can do on something thats in pieces.

I just wanna recall way back when pearl was showing Steven how to sword fight. When she was talking about how these are real sword techniques yada yada yada and the perfect moment to strike we saw that hologram pearl took a few steps forward then attacked her through the back. Now in the trial zircon said she took a few steps forward out of her palanquin then was attacked from the front. Why didn’t pink diamond see rose (or whoever) coming? Unless it was from the back. Think about it, Zircon clearly said ‘when Rose attacked her from the front.’ I’m thinking yes true in front of her palanquin but she was attacked from the back, just like how hologram pearl did to Pearl. Pearl was distracted by Steven and kept talking and hardly noticed hologram Pearl coming towards her. Maybe Pink Diamond heard things (from whoever shattered her) to make her come out of her palanquin then they took the opportunity and impaled her through her gem.

It seems obvious to me that we're going to see more and more of Pink Diamond through flashbacks, and we're going to learn everything about her and what led to her death.
The reason she gets so much merch might be just that, or the fact that she is actually pretty popular? I don't remember seeing so many people loving the other diamonds but a lot of people are all over Pink.
