The Rare Hunt is finally over... or is it?

That was actually him and not AI?? O^O

You might wanna pin this comment, Chief.
YOOOOOOOOOO that's bad ass
Imagine Marik showing up to Battle City and discovering his two Rare Hunters only battled each other
My favorite part of this entire series is Paul’s dedication to the Pot of Greed bit
Which is weird, because he played it so many times, but didn't explain what it did once.
Whats that card do again?
@@VaSoapman I keep hearing something about two cards? Not sure why though, two is a bit of a silly number.
I think what is even better is that Alec started out hating it but then he eventually gave up trying to fight against it and just went along with the bit
It's wild to think this series is over. I remember first finding you guys and enjoying the content even tho I fell out of love with Yu-Gi-Oh over 10 years ago. When you started this series, a wave of great memories came back and even made me find my old cards and see what I still had after all theses years.
Thank you both for this awesome series. I hope we see this series again in the future, but even if we don't I think we can all agree that you guys put out one of the best Yu-Gi-Oh content series the internet has ever seen!
Also, shout out to Johnathan Todd for being a bro and doing that opening bit. 10/10, would use Pot of Greed again! If only I knew what it did...
What does it do?
The voice acting was such a GOATED touch! Marik’s VA is a real one for that 🔥🔥
I'm so used to the abridged version I didn't recognize it was him at first 🤣

Nah, I think it was a tournament card, so it can't be played in an official duel.
the anime made it a meme, it has been a meme for a long time, and even non YGO players know it lol. the meme must be honored whenever me or my opponent plays it.
What's that card do again?
Really sad to see this series end and I'm not even a YuGiOh player or fan. This series had such an excitement and genuinely great premise to it that it made the show an insta-click every week. Super excited to see what comes next from you guys and thanks for all the fun!
I know it was A perfect series that shouldn’t have left but all good things must come to an end
I love how in the old format shutting off traps with a Jinzo can be such a dominating move
Losing that Jinzo was the worst mistake I ever made
Can we get a super cut of Alec’s reactions to Pot of Greed? 😅😂😂
Still not sure what that card does...
We don't need that lol
There's gotta be more 😭 this series literally made me wanna start playing again. My favorite memory was when my parents used to take me to the flee market to buy new cards I didn't find out until I was older they were fake cards 🤣
I really hope they'll continue this series with GX cards next. Starting from scratch again. Can u imagine if one of them gets a full set of the E hero fusions or something? *Chefs kiss
Imagine them saying Master Marik sent them back to school
Lol
@@masterofyugioh1000 that'd be fantastic xD
My favorite thing about this series is how actually competitive and back-and-forth a lot of these duels were, and seeing how the strategies changed as it progressed was interesting.
The way Paul was able to get them solar flares off the field was amazing
I was dying I swear!
My favorite part of the series was Paul always pulling out the Swords of revealing light in tight situations, it reminded me how yugi always pulled dark magician in a bind.
SoRL was legit overpowered in vintage YGO. three turns is actually a LOOOONG time in any TCG. and knowing you could MoF it back to your hand repeatedly is kinda crazy.
@@aa-tx7th plus when giant trunade dropped you could grab it back via that too!
I assumed they were gonna get littlekuriboh to voice Marik but the original was just as good as well as nostalgic! Well done!
LK would probably have been their backup. But they got the actual VA
This series honestly reminded me of back in school at break times. Coming in with no sleeves, rubber bands and no deck limit and really thinking we were the main characters. Such good memories❤
Every episode was like that for us too@
Continue onto the GX era!! 🤓✨️ this series cannot end, cmon!!
Alec: I don't run any copies of Sakuretsu
Also Alec: Sakuretsu on Gigantes
It was set on the field
I assume it was the one face down he had that got sent back to hand by Trunade, though, might be wrong. Either way, it was a really good bait, or an illegal play, wouldn't be surprised either way.
@@lildrinks it was not he drew it with pot of greed afterwards u can see his hand
He specifically said, "I don't have any Sakuretsus in my deck." He did not say he didn't run it.
@@justwatchinfunnyvids it was returned to his hand with giant trunade
No way, did you get Marik's VA to do a few voicelines!? That's super sick! Great finale to the series too!
26:04 Nobleman of Extermination targets and banishes Sakuretsu Armor from both decks
Alec: "I don't have any in my deck"
31:20 Alec actives Sakuretsu Armor
Right
Came down here to see if anyone else noticed, I also payed attention to his hand and he didn't have it in his hand at the time of resolution either.
@@MinimalxEffortMost likely It was on the field at the time since he had something set next to swords of concealing light and he then used giant trunade and added it back to hand
as u said, extermination only banishes cards from the main deck, not field/hand. and when he activates it, he already has sakaretsu armor face down next to swords, he says "i dont have any in my deck" he doesn't actually say "i'm not running it in this deck" what he said just implies that the only sakaretsu he had was already outside of the deck, and when u see it in his hand it's because he bounced it back to his hand with giant trunade.
tldr: he already has sakaretsu on the field when nobleman is activated, it's only shown in his hand because he used giant trunade to bounce it back. and what he said doesn't mean he has 0 at all, it just means the sakaretsu he has was already outside of the deck
@@donavin2733 idk I did see a card face down on his field at the time but that ended up being another card as well as it was used and then the armor was placed down later.
Sad to see this series ending but so down for a GX sequel if you guys do it! ✨🙌🏻 Favourite Classic Yugioh moment? Attempting to play the game with my brother 😅 We weren’t too good at understanding the rules at first and ended up cheating harder than Yami Yugi during Duelist Kingdom, but we eventually got better 😅 Great series guys! Thank yous! 🙌🏻
The fact the voice actor doing Marik made me smile so widely...
Thanks Paul and Alec for this entertaining series.
Thank you guys! Appreciate the money and time that you guys put into this series. Its great stuff :)
What a kind gentleman
yeah those old boxes HAVE to cost a lot of money. hopefulky we get a similar series of duels with the full classic set reprints!
should be far far far cheaper lol.
Favorite moment: When Kaiba just dips off the island about to explode with a Blue Eye's white dragon Jet. Why is bro so extra all the time
I've loved this series! Hope you guys become students and do the GX series, thanks for the entertainment!!
My favorite moment (by far) is when Seto defies his destiny and tributes Obelisk for Blue Eyes during his duel with Ishizu. The soundtrack, the voice acting, the backstory, the stakes, the risk...everything in this scene makes it a masterpiece!
NO FRICKING WAY - you actually got Marik's VA to do a few voicelines???? that's absolutely INSANE!!!!
great finale to the series as well bros !!!!
He was such a great guy to work with! He was more than happy to add some spice to our finale
Hearing the OG Dub VA for Marik in the beginning gave me a little hit of cheer! Always fun to hear the voices of the characters interacting with fan productions like this.
I enjoyed this series so much. And i cant wait to see what you guys come up with next!
My best memory, oddly enough, was the time during a locals tournament where I had my deck stolen. I was only an elementary school student at the time, and I was devastated after spending so much time opening packs and crafting that deck with my best friend. But the part that sticks with me to this day is what happened afterwards: A few of the older kids in the tournament, and even one of the employees of the shop we played at, gave me some of their own collected cards that matched cards from the deck I made. The owner of the shop even sold me an Invasion of Chaos "Dark Magician of Chaos" for $1, to replace the one I had lost. Even back then, the community was so great, and I have many fond memories of my times there. And, I still have that DMoC at home, under lock and key. Haha
Thats super sweet! Sorry to hear about your deck being stolen though.... crappy people are all around but lots of great people too!
most wholesome story about a deck being stolen ever.
I've never loved a series more than this one on youtube. You guys literally brought my favorite childhood show back to life, and I'm sad that it's over. Brought back memories of me and all the other kids in my neighborhood playing yugioh in our culdisac using the most horrendous and non-sensical decks. Anyways, thank you for this series, and I'm really hoping you guys do something like this again!!
While I'm sad to see this series end, I'm happy to know you'll continue doing these booster pack duels in the future.
My favourite classic yugioh memory was just chillin out with the crew in the school yard, finding trouble and never looking too hard.
why isn't this the top comment
You deserve the trophy for that although I'm more of a going fast feeling alive kinda guy
my favorite memory of playing Yugioh was just having sleepovers and playing Yugioh with friends and playing video games. Honestly, watching yall open and play with the retro sets has sparked a new interest in it for me. I stopped playing around the end of the GX sets and came back briefly in 2014-2015. Went to a few local tournaments and didn't even know what was going on when the Synchro and Xyzs summons started happening. It just wasn't as fun as the classic way of playing. Thanks yall for doing this!
My favorite memory is definetely getting exodia's effect for the first time in school, it felt so good i came home giggling all the way
One of my personal favorite anime moments was when Yugi battled Strings and strategically won; adding Slifer the Sky Dragon to his deck. Love the content you all create. Keep up the good work gents.
What does Pot of Greed do!?!?! TELL ME! It's the last episode. TELL ME!
Also, favorite DM Anime moment was Mai giving Joey the card to compete. Very sweet moment, and really set Mai up as a recurring character and 'part of the crew.'
My favourite memory is my grandmother taking me to my LCS way before I could take myself and buying me a couple packs each time. It really got me into the game and brought me a lot of joy. We lost her at the end of 2022 and it's my favourite memory of both her and the game. I'm lucky to have them coincide.
One of my favorite classic memories is thinking I was hot stuff at 10. I went to a tournament and went 0-2 directly knocked out. The guy playing Don Zaloog looked so sorry as he utterly destroyed me lol
I wasn't sure but yes that is Mariks eng va. So cool to see a goated VA return even for a little bit for such a cool series you've all made. Enjoyed this journey alot.
My favourite part of the series was the classic feel of the duels. As someone that plays a lot of meta yugioh it was nice to see these slower pace games and it makes me want to start playing goat. Also, the pot of greed meme is always a classic
The prices for these boxes go into the thousands. I have no idea how you guys managed to pull that off but you will be the only channel I will never complain about a Raid sponsorship ever again :D
Back in highschool years me and my cousin used to print out Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, cut them out and stick them on pieces of cardboard (since we were Way too broke to buy real cards). We only dueled each other but waking up early before our parents during the weekend and just play YuGiOh for a few hours was always something to look forward to :D
This series has been so fun to watch! Shame it's coming to an end, but I definitely second some of the comments I've seen asking to somehow continue or tweak this concept going into the GX era so something of the same spirit can continue. I think it'd be really fun to see!
As for a favorite classic Yu-Gi-Oh memory, the first time Zane Truesdale brought out his Cyber End Dragon has taken up space in my brain for YEARS. That Duel in general is great, because it really established Zane as being just as strong and dangerous as he was hyped up to be, not to mention a solid way to show that, while Jaden is a great Duelist (and has a fair bit of protagonist plot armor), there's still quite a mountain for him to climb. But yeah, the Cyber End Dragon sequence is so cool, and the visual they used to illustrate its arrival were so iconic that it eventually became its own actual card! That's how you know a moment is legendary, when they immortalize it into a card for the actual game (and not too bad of a card, at that!).
It's a shame this series had to end, I still haven't found out what Pot of Greed does :(
Awesome that they got Marik's voice actor to show up!
I think it lets you draw a card at the cost of 2000 lp
I LOVE that Ekibyo Drakmord is putting in work EVEN IN THE END.
It really has been the MVP of the series!
My all time favorite classic Yu-Gi-Oh memory has got to be playing before, after, and during school (recess). Those long winded duels that were such crazy back and forths, the total lack of synergy, the insane 200 card decks, making the worst trade deals in the history of card games because neither of you understood the cards, the genuine enjoyment of not caring how amazing or awful a card was because it looked so cool or was holographic! No one focused on a meta and regardless of a win or a loss we all just had a fun time. I miss just enjoying Yu-Gi-Oh for what it was.
This series reminds me so much of my childhood and dueling with any card you could really just get your hands on, I loved watching every episode of it and am looking forward to more content from you guys! My favorite Yu-Gi-Oh memory is a series of duels I had against a cousin of mine. He had spent a few hundred dollars for a gem-knight deck he found online, and throughout a week's worth of duels, he couldn't beat my scavenged up Dragon deck I had built with old cards. Goes to show you can't always pay to win!
Amazing that you got the actual VA for marik in the intro! Great series guys!
Favorite part of the yugioh series has always been the shadow duel between Yami Marik and Joey. Not only was it intense but Marik's reaction to Joey withstanding Ra's attack near the end was just awesome!
It just kinda sucks that joey got cucked. He woulda won otherwise
Loved this series guys.
My favourite Yu-Gi-Oh memory has to be playing with my dad when I was a kid. We used to play pure structure decks like Dragons Roar vs Blaze of Destruction and my dad always got frustrated because he thought the card effects were too complicated. He'd always say things like "Well I was going to attack your monster but I'm guessing because you have 3 cards in your hand, it's the weekend and the wind is blowing from the north I'm not allowed to, so I'll just end my turn".
The best part of the series is definitely the anime moments of the series. Paul would have his back to the wall and pull out some sick anime combo out of no where. Reminds me of the classroom duels that I would have in high school. We would find some way to play yugioh, whether we had to hide our decks in the drawers in our lab or finish the work so early that the teacher would just let us play. Loved the back and froths the 5ds era decks (non-competitive) had where duels could take the whole lunch break to finish.
I still own my first ever yugioh card! Ooguchi. It’s creased and definitely seen better days but makes me feel like a kid again. And so has this series! You guys have done an incredible job of making this and I can’t wait for the next series you do!
that water monster ? so cool i remember him from all the playstation game
I was not expecting the Paul heel turn at the end.
Character development!
One of my favorite memories was back during LOD. My friend and I were going to the movies at the mall (back when it was still cool to go to the mall lol) and literally raced each other through the mall to get to Electronics Boutique for first dibs on picking our packs. I beat him and picked a single pack that contained an Injection Fairy Lily. He already had one, so he was pretty stoked for me too. Just one of many good Yu-Gi-Oh memories back in the day! Thank you guys so much for this series. It has literally been a trip down memory lane and has been a blast to watch!
My favourite yugioh memory is when I was 6 years old, in school. The teacher made us a relax corner filled with some toys and books, and if the class was good we were allowed to spend 15 minutes at the end of the day there doing whatever we wanted. One day I was digging through the toy box and I found a strange thing I'd never seen. It was a yugioh card, a beat up waboku. I was instantly enthralled and asked her what it was. She had no idea but said I could keep it if I wanted too. That single moment has sparked a lifetime of love for card games and the anime. Thank you so much for this series, it was a joy to watch since I never was able to open these packs myself
My favorite classic Yugioh memory is Joey's near victory vs Marik. Such an epic and emotional duel.
Only bad thing is he would've won but plot armor
I love black luster soldier sooo much! When Yugi summoned it when he was fighting Mai, I was so crazy that he summoned a monster that was as strong as blue eyes white dragon! Love your channel soo much ❤
My favourite classic Yugioh moment was seeing the orginal Kaiba/Yugi decks for sale. I didnt know you could play the game in real life back then, and due to that one day, I've had a long and happy life filled with making new friends, being part of an awesome community, and having a hobby that has gotten me through the hardest parts of my life and always left me with a smile! 😊
This series was a fantastic trip through memory lane. Loved seeing how the decks, and the game, evolved with each new set. Really looking forward to whatever comes next!
My favorite Yu-Gi-Oh memory was getting my Duel Disk. It may have torn up cards like nothing else, but as a kid, I didn't care. Me and my friends would use those to duel outside all the time, without the cards blowing away in the wind.
Honestly guys, loved this series so much and brought back some great memories from my childhood. I understand how expensive this must have been and how expensive it would be to continue (I’d love it if it did continue). All I can say is a huge thank you from a massive man child
This series was such a joy to watch. There's something magical seeing classic sets being opened and the progression of deck building as new cards entered the pool!
This being the 'final' episode feels insane to me(In a good way). You guys at APS got me back into keeping up with Yugioh and your videos are a lot of fun, but Rare Hunters is what got me back into the physical game and after like the 5th or so episode came out, finally gave me the push after all these years to try and get my friends into Yugioh too! And... we're doing it! A few conversations and a game of speed duels later we've all bought the recent structure decks and are meeting this Wednesday for our first real game! I love rare hunters so much and to me embodies that TRUE childhood yugioh feeling of improving your deck and fine tuning strategy over multiple games and booster purchases just like in the old days, for me anyway, that's what it was like. I hope we get to see a GX season of Rare Hunters, idk maybe you guys are the shadow riders or HEY maybe the rare hunters are just solo now and serve Kagemaru or Sartorious who knows! Either way, looking forward to it!
So my favorite classic yugioh memory is actually related to the GBA game, “stairway to the destined duel”. I remember I grinder that game so hard, not knowing which packs give which cards, trying to get strong staples such as pot of greed, graceful charity, etc. and winning the type specific tournaments. One day I got back home and I saw my little brother with the game boy in hand, crying. So I asked him what’s wrong? He said he accidentally deleted my yugioh save and he felt so bad for that. He didn’t know much about how to play yugioh, but after raging a little bit (well, I was a kid as well haha), we restarted the game and tried getting all the cards back, along with me explaining to him how the game works : )
What a series this brought me right back to childhood memories every time. You guys are amazing. Can’t wait to see how you do a gx style series 💜💜💜
This was an awesome series. Watching old school yugioh hits real different. If you guys ever decide to continue this series later on, i would be looking forward to it
My favorite part of the series is the look on Kaibas face when Yugi pulls Exodia. You're immediately shown how crazy that play is and sets up the entire feud so well.
Thank Marik you gave us such great content. You're great.
I remember deciding to go to my first Regional tournament 17 years ago. I had only played "Kitchen Table" Yu-Gi-Oh, so I had no idea what I was walking into. I was eliminated first round by a guy with a 222 card deck. I stayed and watched the die hard players go at it for a while, but left a little wiser and continued playing a few more years before putting my cards into a binder and holding a place of honor on a collectable shelf. My favorite cards I took to the tournament were Neo Aqua Madoor, Enraged Muka Muka, and Gren Maju da Eiza. While not the best cards, they helped me win duels versus my friends so many years ago. Enjoyed the series, hope to see something similar in the future.
Love the series guys thanks for the memories it was a blast to see our childhood cards back in action. Can't wait for the 25 anniversary set to recollect the old cards again. This series has made me want to get back in and collect again.
It’s cool you guys got the English voice actor of Marik to do that for you guys to be honest I think you guys should really do this for the other series as well
Incredible series, I hope the progression continues in the GX era, seeing if the DM era cards can compete.
My favourite classic Yu-Gi-Oh memory is the one that started it all! Getting two cards from my American pen pal before the game had come to Australia. I still remember them! Octopurser and Performance of Sword.
My favorite memory was participating in my first ever local weekly/mini tournament. Back then, we only had one game store that held these meetups for kids & teens for every popular geeky franchise. It felt so surreal getting to meet so many new friends and to trade and battle with them. I didn't end up placing high in the tournament that day, but I did get a pack that had a super rare in it and just had a great time in general, so it was all good. I'll forever miss that game store...
Alec going all out with the solar flare lock in the final duel was amazing. What a way to end my favorite series.

Favorite classic Yu-Gi-Oh memory has to be the Yata lock. I was a young kid at the time, and didn't quite understand how toxic the choas + witch + Yata lock was, but it made for some great memories at locals when you were on the winning side of it!
Amazing series. Thank you for running this!
As long as this series continues into the GX era, I'm happy. Great job as always. I will probably end up re-watching this series while I wait for GX.
My favorite moment as a child was telling people that their cards were fake and when I won a duel, I told them they lost because you can't believe in the heart of the cards because fake cards have no hearts😂 Thanks for the nostalgia trip this series.
My favourite memory was playing with 200 random cards shuffling them together and splitting it in two to duel. Great show I am always excited to see the next episode
Stoked for the next season please don’t make us wait toooo long !
Favorite moment was Yugi's win through mill against Strings. Turning his engine against him was classic. The fact Strings did the draw motion despite no cards being there was a great detail to emphasize he was being totally controlled.
My favourite classic Yu-gi-oh moment was the boat ride to Duelist Kingdom and being introduced to those classic characters, Mei, Weevil and even Bakura!
Loved the Rare Hunters series, thanks for all the work (and money) involved in putting it together guys. ❤️
Finally the end is here!
Still sad to see it end 😭
Awesome series and excited to hear we'll be getting more of it! One of my favorite classic memories is the various seasons of the show where they have alternate game modes like having to pick deck masters or dungeon dice monsters.
I hope to see more of this kind of series and hopefully more of you guys and the professor hanging out. My favorite moment growing up was dueling against my dad and saving up money to buy packs to see all the cool art and build jank decks with friends.
Love the cameo of Marik at the start and LOVED the overall series fellas! It was refreshing to watch each week and was still straightforward enough for an older anime fan like myself to still follow (as I only got into the physical card game again once duel links came out).
As for my favourite yugioh memory, honestly it’s ironically when Joey is attacked & withstands Ra’s attack in battle city. The art style during the attack while he’s being fried alongside the background Egyptian theme, was so cool to me as a kid. I rewound and re-watched that section of the vhs tape numerous times as I used to tape live cartoons via the VCR back then on Saturdays 😅. Such a simpler time. Thanks again for having so much fun with this series! The nostalgia was contagious 🙂
I just got into yugioh not too long ago and you guys have really been a big factor in my interest in the game, my favorite part of the series was just seeing the fun interactions between you guys as you dueled, hope for more amazing content in the future !
These were awesome back and fourth duels! This series was amazing, thank you guys for the great videos!
I loved LV monsters as a kid, I had a set of Horus, The Black Flame Dragon cards and it was absolutely my favourite monster. Years later, duel links was released and Horus was my first boss monster in the game, it felt like a cycle complete!
This was an awesome series. I don't have one distinct classic Yu-Gi-Oh moment, but just having duel parties with my friends as a kid definitely tops anything else in Yu-Gi-Oh for me!
Genuinely a beautiful series! I found y'all through your collabs with the professor and it's been great rekindling my yugioh experiences.
Favorite memory of mine is when younger, a friend loved elemental heros and I loved destiny heros. We built decks from what we could and would go back and forth at each other with them.
Crazy seeing newer heros, vision heros, etc now!
Hearing Master Marik’s voice takes me back lol the best memories I have are just playing on the streets with un sleeves bulk cards from the OG sets. Good times indeed.
Out of all the classic YGO duels/cards, I've got 2 favorite memories
1. The Strings vs. Atem duel in Battle City after Atem finds the key point to lock Marik into the infinite loop to get a deck draw out win
2. This is a personal memory from my middle school days. I had drawn Polymerization, Relinquished, and Thousand Eyes Idol in my opening hand. I legit got first turn Thousand-Eyes Restrict. Oh it was glorious!
No matter how often Paul asks what Pot of Greed does, it never gets old.
He always sounds like it's basic knowledge when hes explaining its effect even though it isn't.
My favorite YuGiOh memory can't be narrowed down to just a single moment because for me its the whole experience of growing up with it. Watching an episode in the morning while eating a poptart or some toast before going to school, getting to school and talking about the anime with friends, grouping up at recess to show off what cards you got and trading for what you thought looked cool. Hearing that beginning part of the original anime's theme still gives me chills and i will never not be hype when Yugi says ITS TIME TO DUEL. So whether its the time spent dueling in class and at recess with friends, the time spent in my room on the floor with my cards out watching the show and copying what Yugi did, to begging my mom to buy me a new pack while we were checking out at the grocery store. Yu-Gi-Oh! holds a special place in my heart and will always be able to bring out my inner child. And to Team APS, thank you for all the work you've put into this amazing series and channel, it's truly appreciated. It's always a blast to watch you guys and I look forward to what's next. Good luck to everyone trying to win the statue! Pass turn.
My favorite classic Yugioh memory is trading a neighborhood kid my calculator for a GAIA THE DRAGON CHAMPION. I would have to say Yugioh introduced me to the bartering system before I even knew what that was! Superb job, Alec and Paul! You guys put on quite the entertaining show. I always love seeing old school yugioh being brought back to the cultural zeitgeist. Nostalgia is one hell of a dopamine rush! And to see those cards being used in a format that was ever evolving was fascinating to see. Thank you guys for all the hard work you put in your videos! Can't wait to see what y'all do next!
My favourite classic yugioh memory was the card Gren Maju Da Eiza, legit built my deck around him and played countless time with him clutching out my only local game shop tourney back in the day. Finding out its still used was one of the best parts of rediscovering yugioh and yugi tubers! Such a great series, keen for all the next saga and series!
Love the channel and loved this series. So dope y’all got the VA for Marik. Look forward to whatever y’all decide next. Favorite memory of the retro cards gotta be the first 2 starter decks. That’s where it all started for me
Such a good series! Favorite memory is probably when “Kaiba” turns out to be a fat, evil version of himself in duelist kingdom. That voice just sticks out in my head
My favorite classic yugioh memory is when Joey used Graverobber to copy Summoned Skull from the graveyard, and then used Copycat to copy Polymerization! XD Classic show rules! Love you guys! Keep up the good work!
thanks guys i had a blast watching you guys duel ,im in highschool now and none of the people there really know yugioh so watching you guys is just another way of connecting with people through *clears throat * THE HEART OF THE CARDS
Amazing series guys, hope you had as much fun as everyone of us who watched it did. Would love to see some more footage going through the cards pulled throughout the series!
My favorite classic yugioh moment has to be Kiba stepping on the ledge during his duel with Yugi. That duel really changed the mood for the entire show. It showed how much every character had at stake and how far they would go to win the tournament
My fave classic Yu-Gi-Oh memory is when I was collecting shonen jumps for the cards and one of them had the special Obelisk The Tormentor, drawn by Kazuki Takahashi himself. I honestly LOVE the Takahashi cards because the fact that they were drawn by the creator of the series just makes them all the more special.
Favorite old-school memory is playing with my brother with some jank decks.
We really didn't understand the metagame at all, so I played blue-eyes and ignored some broken cards that I had no idea was broken - great times!
Thanks for this series, it was a blast! That first duel this episode was amazing!
Looking forward to more of these in the future and as far as favorite memories go, I would say it would be the Silent Swordsman cards. They're some of my favorites to play in my more casual decks with how I can shut down my opponents spells
My favorite memory of Yu-Gi-Oh is learning how to duel with my little brother.. we use to have disk duel in I love playing Yu-Gi-Oh academy when I was like 7 those moments felt so special to me cause of out of all things we argue about we never argue about dueling I love the retro area when Yu-Gi-Oh first came out it was simple now days the card effects are way too long in u have to remember a lot but I love u guys channel Im 29 now so seeing u guys duel with the same cards my favorite has to be blue eyes by the way made me feel like u guys appreciate that era as much as I did
I would have to say I always love the joy from sitting down with my friends and just playing the game. Alot of them I don't see very much anymore but I will always have the memories of late night duels and deck building.
