Don't ask me about any of the new cards though, I don't understand how they work. I pretty much gave up after xyz era. In case you are wondering; I had a dinosaur and sea creature deck with my insect deck being the strongest. So.... if anyone challenges me... They will get squashed - Krátké a kreslené filmy
In high school i did a history lesson on Yugioh. The class loved it.
To add i had the soundtrack tape for the show and played the opening and brought my wallscroll with me and my cards which no one stole.

Well I hope you are on Susan good side
Don’t worry to whoever this concerns. Some thought that it was a good idea to mix reports with a Yu-Gi-Oh! Reference (that and they insulted Susan, a CEO according to him).

It appears that _"The Heart of the cards"_ was not just cheap talk about believing in yourself and your allies or whatever, but very much a real thing that dictated one's performance.
During the Duelist Kingdom duel between Mokuba and Yugi, he tells Mokuba that there's no way he can win with a deck that's not his own and his heart is not with those cards. Yugi and Kaiba standing on top of all duelists is in part due to their link with their monsters from their past lives, their deeper connection to the heart of the cards than anyone else's.
Actually its the Millennium Puzzle manipulating luck
yeah yugi just cheated every single duel he ever played
When I was a kid, I had a friend with a super religious family that I would play Yugioh with. His religion never seemed to get in the way of us playing the game so it was never an issue.
One day I go over to his house to play, with my deck and everything. When I ask him if he's ready to duel he tells me he's not allowed to play Yugioh anymore. I ask him why, and he tells me it's cause mom said it worships satan and all that jazz. My kid brain was like:
"Well, if you're not allowed to play anymore... Can I have your cards?" Dude had awesome cards, like dark paladin, Buster Blader and stuff like that.
"I can't give them to you."
"Why not?"
"My mom burned them all." Little kid me was destroyed hearing this.
*"WHY DID SHE BURN THEM"*
It worships satan lmao if you watch 5 minutes of it you realize it’s about friendship, 4 friends with an inseparable bond and a pharaoh that returned to save the world again
@@mrmiagi6052 People like that never do their research. They just love to blindly spread hate.
Wtf you watch the first episode and realise it's about 4 friends staying together and defeating bad guys.In the first episode,Pegasus steals Yugi's Grandpa's Soul and they have to fight to save him.
I have both of those and I play my cousin and I use buster bladder and what’s funny so he has a full team of dragons
really? does she REALIZE how expensive they are? you could by a person’s vital organs with those cards

I never understood why it was such a big deal to play during free time at school. Now as a teacher, I host a Yu-Gi-Oh! Club at the school I teach at. Not only do the kids practice their math and reading, but they have a chance to just hang out and talk about something they’re mutually interested in.

I LOVE YU-GI-OH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I remember back in primary school, everyone was afraid of dueling because we thought we had to give away our best card if we lose xD
That's the OG way of playing, but when you lose you gotta pull the *I NEVER AGREED TO THAT* b*tch move
At my school we had kids try to pull that crap (but I was the "king of games" or the top player of our group) and I told them that was a forbidden playstyle, as taking people's cards discourages people from playing the game with us and that if we win, we are responsible for helping improve the opposing players deck. (That rule stayed even after I lost my title and I think it really helped people feel comfortable playing with us)
My older brother would do that when we were young especially when we got starter decks. It made me get inventive like one deck were flip advantage cards so he would lose most of his bigger monsters by my tiny guys.
@@chaosgilleon6433 same tho with bayblade or Pokemon, yugioh was impossible to play outside mostly down to wind and we where not allowed to play games inside unless it was raining.
before i became the king of games play for keeps was the norm until i step in after the former king of game past away who never bothered changing the rules despite being considered the nice guy in the school.
I still remember when I was in primary school, my mum would most of the time be late from work, so I got put into an after school care program and almost every kid I spoke to had decks that had all the ace monsters like dark magician, blue eyes, red eyes, etc. but around this time yugioh gx had been around for about a year now and no one had a E-hero neos for some reason. I remember everyone got given booster packs as a end of school year Christmas gift, everyone was pulling out the armoured dragons, the ojama's and ultimate tyranno. but when I opened mine and the first card I saw was neos. I'm not going to lie, but I remember shedding a few tears and screaming at the top of my lungs. I got Neos and immediately put him in my deck of random elemental heros and cyber dragons. One of the best moments of my primary school life ever. From that point on, whenever someone wanted to duel with me, I've always had Neos.
My experience with Yu-Gi-Oh and school was a weird one, and one where I wish I could go back in time and slap my younger self.
My elementary school had no restrictions when it came to card games, other than you couldn’t play during class (obviously). However, there was this one teacher that would tell us to stop, and funnily enough, called them, “Pokeeman cards (yes, I spelt Pokémon the way they said it). We didn’t stop, of course, and always found new spots to play.
The thing that I want to slap my past self for is that the guys I played with were not the most best of people. They had really good cards, and they technically got me into it, and they knew they could take advantage of my stupidity when they saw I had a really strong synchro and a number card. So, they played what we called “Bet Duels,” where, you guessed it, each player bet two cards, and the winner got both. I ended up losing those two because of that. However, I ended up finding the deck of the guy that I lost my synchro to, and I stole it back during a free period where I knew he wouldn’t be in class to see me. The next day, though, he caught me red-handed and told me to give it back. And I, wanting to be honest, STUPIDLY gave it back to him since I had brought it with me.
Later, these guys ended up getting a card that they could summon on the first turn and wipe me out instantly, so the game just stopped being fun and I essentially severed ties with them when it came to Yu-Gi-Oh
I love this, I just got back into Yugioh with my friend and got a new deck! So nice to spend adult money on a childhood pleasure that I couldn't have before
What’s ur phone number my siblings hate Yu-Gi-Oh! And now not a single person plays with me and it took me 3 months to create my deck plzzzz

I have an amazing story with Yu-gi-oh. because my friend Emerson and I started a yu-gi-oh craze in school, I bought Saga with Eyes of Blue and he had a Yugi Starter Deck. We played in the break and all my class used to watch us, and then everyone in my class bought yu-gi-oh cards as well and started playing with us, and the thing was so popular than even our school cafeteria (which was owned by one of classmates family) started buying the cards, so soon the whole school was "playing" as well. (I said "playing" like that because only my class and some guys in fifth grade truly knew how to play, and most of the people played it in invented ways) I treasure those memories very much, and all of us in the graduation exchanged our cards to have something to remember about each other :)

For as long as I can remember, I played Yugioh, and my parents supported me to the point of bribing me with new cards if I showed good behavior at school at the end of each week. Yugioh and Pokemon were everything to me as a kid, until a little over ten years ago, where I discovered my current obsession... MTG. For the first few years I still collected Yugioh and MTG cards (I had fazed out of Pokemon cards because I had never learned how to play and my brother despised the concept of Pokemon), but eventually, I had decided to move away from Yugioh entirely and focus completely on MTG, and it's only very recently that I'm pulling out my old Yugioh cards and building decks with them.

I played through school and still have my original deck I stopped for a few years got back into it a couple years ago made a stardust deck as my go to and it’s done me well. It has influenced all of us in ways we wouldn’t think it would am I a nerd probably but oh well I’m happy
I had forgotten how much this game made me have crazy friends for dragon decks, while I just liked my skull knight combo that I even put on my deck just to make this fusion over and over again
we bet our SOULLLLLLLS TO THE SHADOW REALM ... or cheetos
This got me into YuGiOh
During Junior year of high school before Covid start after school their was a yugioh Meeting/MiniTournament and this was the time I got into the game dueling wise because when I was 12 i started collecting into the game
Love this video. It was recommended to me and I'm not disappointed with the wonderful algorithm. I fully agree and understand you. I still watch the original 4Kids anime even although it is a wee bit cheesy. That's just part of the charm I think (especially the scary finger guns 😋) and despite being almost 26 now, I still play when I can and I'm on Duel Links every day even sometimes stream it. When I met Dan and Eric here in the UK, twice, those were some of the best days and memories I'll cherish forever 😁
imagine ✨ yugioh strategy 101 ✨ being a thing
Getting gx vibes
You'd be surprised
Here goes if you can't afford to buy the latest box for the most meta cards look up anti meta decks class done

you got me in the illegal at school part. Used to be the same in iiraq/baghdad
Reminds me when I used to bring my cards to elementary school which ended up okay. In middle school though a fellow band member stole half of them and I never saw them or the small binder they were in again, other than her showing it off at lunch claiming them as her own. But I sure had to see her face every single day in band for three years.
Fond memories ❤
I loved Yugioh but, my classmates always thought it was weird that I was into it since I was a girl TT
Yeah my classmates told me it was for children and I thinked about it why the hell a children's game have such rules
I loved yugioh too but no one knew it
@@omarbenkhaled285 idk why ppl bring up its for kids so much, i find it darker than other kids shows like pokemon or etc

@@Stink3rz Only my lil bro and some cousins know haha
Ngl, my mom had a "no taking your cards to school" rule, I went to public school, they didn't really care after 3rd grade (4th year whatever you want to call it). Taking them to school one day, is the only reason I have one of my best friends today (7 years later).
This brings me back to middle school where me and a friend always played yugioh together but I always lost most of the time except when I won and got a blue eye’s from him
Cool I like ur video on Pokemon Nuzlock, which I saw on Adrive and/or HDvee Channel recently
I'd honestly love to see this guys insect deck in action or at least a list with some of his popular moves!
Looking at this as an insect player myself, I feel this on a spiritual level.
Me too mother spider deck inspired by weevil underwood I haven't played in a long time
Hahahahahahaha!!!!!!
My childhood with gx be like " cyber dragon and cyberdarks supremacy! "
Lmao
Talking cats fighting is the best description of the warriors series there is.
It weird to see a beautifully drawn character next to monsters

YES SOMEONE LIKES YU-GI-OH
There were only five people in my school that know YU-GI-OH
For me it's two. I'm one of them.
I'm sorry bro that's unfortunate.
You know that one guy who is really annoying and has a Sharingan like in naruto
Me too
Lmfao, a Warriors reference? Amazing! Fantastic animation, and very cute story, loved it!
Same with me in my school in the UK I love yu gi oh I'm still a kid and it is still happening
Dang, wished more schools had after school gathering clubs where you can play trading card games. I don't know any where I live 😔
I was part of an anime club that often met after school in different locations every time. We used to duel a lot but since we weren't an official club recognized by the school we often had to move constantly or complete homework to stick around. I wonder if it's still around?
What nostalgia. I might have to make a video on it
