MAN, I wanted this to catch on SO BAD. I was a big fan of Season 0 when I was a kid, and I LOVED when Yugi played more than just card games. So seeing ANOTHER game actually come out was so sick to me!!

Makes me glad a lot of card games have more or less standardized to "deck size can be as big as you want, so long as you can shuffle it without assistance." Just makes the most sense really if you wanna have softer limits on deck sizes rather than a hard stopping point.

Uh... that first one... Read it again. Slowly. The magic text you came up with is nearly impossible to cast For how do I cast a sorcery that requires my opponent to cast a creature on my own turn? Flash, yes, but realistically, you can't cast it. Ever. It should read "cast only during your turn and only if an opponent has activated a non-mana ability of a creature they control." Also missing the untap and haste part of the gain control mode, because I assume the original goal was to attack with the monster you steal

this card is even worst than you think cause when you use the card it's a -1 and due the this card it forces you to shuffle a card to your deck so that's another -1. So by the end you're giving your opponent information with a -2 in had advantage. The only deck that would want a few to no cards in had would be infernity and they have better on theme ways to do it.

This duel was EPPIICCC. Especially that last round, even better than the anime😂😂

The real reason to use this card is when you duel your friends. You have 4 pieces of Exodia, pot of greed, graceful charity, and some random card.

It's just a garbage addition card for people who bought boosters.

I have been playing since the GBC days and modern yu gi oh, TTCG and Master Duel are a frustrating hot mess of games where players end up cycling 2/3rds of their deck into play on turn 1. There is no pacing, there is very little back and forth. The VAST majority of top tier games end in 2 moves with a concession. You can see yourself in the tourney replays. There's no way to fix it, Konami's relentless charge to make money has powercreeped the game to frankly ridiculous levels.

For Borrelsword I'd say something like, During the assign blockers step, you may target one attacking creature an opponent controls: tap it and remove it from combat. When Borrelsword Dragon attacks, if this is the first combat of this turn, untap it. There is another combat phase after this one. Once per turn, when this attacking creature becomes blocked, you may reduce the power of the one of the creatures blocking it by half (rounding up) and increase Borrelsword Dragon's power by the same amount until the end of the turn. I think it'd also get trample instead of flying, just because everything else about the card screams "I wanna run right through the enemy", although I could see giving it both. Could also give it vigilance since it's a Link monster and therefor doesn't turn sideways, but that might be a stretch. I'd also say that, my interpretation at least, should be red/white.

As a magic the gathering player I can say yes cards like this can be very useful if you build a deck around that strategy I assume cards like exchange will work with it if you make your plays right
