  • In March we celebrate women’s history, and at Today in the Word, we will once again study women of the Old Testament! Listen as Today in the Word’s managing editor Jamie Janosz and author Kelli Worrall discuss this month’s study: Courage and Obedience: Women of the Old Testament, Part Two. In the March 2022 daily devotional, you will see courageous obedience, bold leadership, God-given wisdom, and sacrificial love. We also see grief and bitterness, deceit and fear, jealousy, lust, and pain. Ultimately, we see how God sovereignly orchestrates the events of their lives for His purpose. We hope you will be challenged and encouraged to walk worthy of the calling God has placed on your life.
Kelli Worrall is a Professor of Communications and the Chair of the Division of Music and Media Arts at Moody Bible Institute. She teaches both writing and public speaking courses. Kelli studied communications at Cedarville University, religious education at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (MRE), and creative writing at Roosevelt University (MFA). She is the author of several books including Pierced and Embraced, a reflection on how Jesus’ interacted with women in the New Testament. Kelli and her husband, Peter often speak at marriage, college, and young adult retreats. They are parents of two children through adoption and enjoy decorating their Craftsman house.
