I saw German video get 507 PS or 500 HP and 615 NM
    For stock car very impressive
PS My Brother has Red manual on order and will get stage 1 to fix the lag.

What is this “stage one” he’s talking about? Where can I get it?

i have this car. i absolutely love it but two things bother me. I have the 6MT. unless you are in the powerband, which is really 4k+, the car really doesn't move. there is certainly turbo lag that i didn't experience with b58. don't get me wrong, when you are in the powerband, it is glorious. but because of this, i can count on 1 hand how many times i have been in 5th gear. never even touched 6th. at about 95 mph i will get into 5th gear. but now i am in jail territory. also, like all BMWs, the 1-2 shift sucks. 1st gear is almost too short while all the other gears are too long. just my opinion. everything else about the car, i love and highly recommend. i feel like a tune could get you more power down low and a CDV delete might help the 1-2 shift. i'll probably never end up doing either lol

The gearing on this new bmw is too long, unfortunately for these reason you are almost always under the powerband. You need to get this car in automatic otherwise you lose lot of power even the automatic is less enjoyable and fun than the manual even it goes faster

@@motorsportislife9598 yeah that's a fact. Ultimately, for a road car, I still think the manual is the way to go. If you want to seriously track it, you need the auto. Not to sound cliche, but it is very engaging and rewarding when it all goes right. I am curious to see how the auto drives though. Seeing that manuals and engines not assisted by this garbage hybrid stuff is on its way out, I'm good with my decision. Just got home from my drive home and loved every minute of it.

before I ordered my g87 6 spd manual m2 I heard that the lag and long gearing was a bit of an issue but still went with it over the auto... Im thinking a flash will help have the power kick in 500-1000 rpms earlier like my flash did with my 911 turbo. even with the stock lag tho, I think the 6 spd is still the play over the zf for a weekend car. I had the zf on my g80 and new vantage - its good for a daily but not that engaging. i'll just plan on keeping the revs up with the manual.

@@brelaxed13 why would you be bothered by that on the track? You are anyway constantly in high rpms, so there's always enough power. The fact that this is the last manual M car ever, makes it a no brainer for me, even tho I am planning on making a track tool out of mine. What is a track tool about? Laptimes? Well, that's only the second priority after the first one, which is: fun! And that's surely the case for manual over auto. If we are talking about real race cars with a purpose to actually win races, it might be a different story, but even they don't use autos like the one in here;)

@@mkm6073 agreed. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be tracking mine. There is really no track near me and since this is my only car and daily driver, if I crash it, I'm screwed. Although I want to so badly. The only time I ever went on track was when I rented a GT3RS and a Hurcan Performante for like 3 laps each. One of the greatest experiences in my life.
