I watched this build years ago....STILL looks absolutely flawless. Dave is my favorite builder for sure. You are a lucky man!
His builds are exceptional and it was a joy to shoot and drive this around for a few minutes
Love this 64’ since 1970 when I owned a Fleetwood of the same year. Owned several caddy’s but 64’ was by far the best ever produced for my money. This custom is Awesome and the steering wheel is original size wheel. Thanks
I would love this no matter who built it or why. I just love old cadillacs. Thank you
I do too. They just beg for casual cool cruising
How good is Kindig's work? Nothing better than a high quality Caddy! Great video Shawn as usual.
Class work from that crew on this car. True artistry
Why would he sell this car? It was undoubtedly ridiculously expensive to have built and totally customized to him, seems like one of those forever cars.
Exactly
You never know what people have going on in their lives.
Money, and it's too nice of a car to drive often.
Lots of people do this and it blows my mind. I think some people enjoy the build experience more than actually using the thing. Or, for people who pay boatloads of money for someone to build their car, only to sell it immediately after- maybe they got in over their heads with how much it would actually cost
And it’s called zero regrets. Selling may imply regret. 😂 awesome ride
Used to own a 79 Coupe DeVille. You add me at Cadillac Shawn. And this thing is an absolute beauty love the paint. Stay gold!
I have one as my daily in the UK . Colonial yellow with matching top and leather interior.
19in Boyd's ,never painted zero rust 42 thousand miles.Running LPG ( half price of petrol) .
Such a beautiful build they did on this one!
@@AutotopiaLA The early 70,s 500 cuin Caddy motor is a torque monster and loves nitrous.
Don’t think I can remember a Kindigit car that I didn’t like , literally ever car I’ve seen from him is exceptionally Top shelf, huge attention to small details hits big in the end result, think my favorite was the 68 chevelle he built for some guy who’s had Dave build several rides for him but that chevelle had so much power it was insane ,gotta feel blessed to be able to afford to have somebody like Dave build you a car of your dreams , this Cadi is awesome 💯👍🏼
Ken builds some of the most beautiful cars, hands down!!
Haha, I don’t know why Ken appeared but I meant Dave.
I am very familiar with the 63- 64 ; Cadillacs. They where very popular , and called at the time :" The most beloved Cadillac ever ".
The steering wheel ; beautiful two tone is original, thank goodness !
My dad had a 64 cadillac convertible back in the day. This car is sharp!
given care enough these old girls and feel better than they did new
I still can’t get over the rims. Crazy build
Those are amazing! Such a class build
That Caddy still looks awesome! You are a lucky man to be able to drive it!
Why would someone sell a car they had custom built to honour their countless Olympic Awards? Does he need the money or he just doesn’t have the time to enjoy the car anymore? Probably never know the reason. Kindig builds are gorgeous. The build quality is beyond amazing.
From what I was told he just never drives the car but I don’t know as I’ve never met Apolo
@@AutotopiaLA ,sounds about right. If I could afford to have a car like that I would definitely want to drive it. I like Jay Leno’s outlook for his collection, he drives them all. It does help that he had and has a very lucrative career and can afford to have a facility with staff that can maintain them all. Leno is the ultimate “Car Guy” in my opinion.
LOVE THIS.
Not everything has to be about muscle cars.
More well-built...properly stanced...confidently powered...LAND YACHTS. Congrats to the new owner...and I hope they drive it to nowhere in particular as often as weather and schedule allows. I can't imagine ever parting with this total babe.
Love Kindig's work
Really clean class work they do
Such a incredible piece of art. To watch what people can come up with is truly breathtaking. Such an amazing eye for details and things that we can not even see. Just blows my mind.
Same for me. The level of detail is simply exceptional
@AutotopiaLA yeah what people can think of and then make it out of steel is a gift.
Kindig it design car are awesome builds. Beautiful, My Father had 64 Caddie, love that look!! Great shoot Shawn. Thanks
Shawn rollin' Cadillac Style!
How clean is that Caddy?!
Gotta love a Caddy
Nice caddy 👍👍
So clean and pure cool
That and the 67 Eldorado were my 2 favorite cadillacs.
Something wrong with this man's Medulla Oblongata. I'm hooked! Don't change a thing. Dave has quite an eye for design.
He’s amazing with design and his crew nails it
When i was a 18 year old my friends dad owned a 65 Caddy hard top with a blown tranny. I dreamt of owning that thing. This one is beautiful. To me, nothing is more luxury than these old school Cadillacs.
They are pure cool and just make you want to cruise all day and night
Great car. Great year. Year I
was born. Beautiful custom design and color. Immaculate. Kindig masterpiece.❤♥🔥🔥🏁🏁
I love driving 60s boats dude. 😎👌
Shawn, stunning is an understatement for this caddy! love it!
Words failed me on the beauty of this build
Beautiful ride
No doubt
GREAT VIDEO SHAWN!!! GREAT BUILD AND A GREAT VIDEO!!!! THANKS FOR SHARING!!! I LOVE IT!!!
Hell of a build and even tho it's an older build, I would totally rock this one!
Stunning cruiser for sure! Quality at every look
I luv "Kindig" builds ...and this one's a beauty! 😎😎
True artistry right there
Absolutely gorgeous car, top build.
BITCHIN' RIDES BY KINDIGIT DESIGNS MY FAVORITE SHOW!
DAVE KINDIG A MASTERMIND ALONG WITH HIS TOP NOTCH CREW!
"Cruisin down the street in my 64". It had to be said.
Had to be said! Can’t believe I left that out 🤦♂️
Your taste is amazing my friend!
Timeless
Wow love this car!!
If I had the money I’d have Kindig build me a caddy
Same here
I met Apolo a while back and he's a cool mofo class act with obvious great taste! 🙏🍾🍾🍾
One of the nicest cars I’ve seen on here. Those gauges are gorgeous
Really nice caddy Shawn! classic beauty!!!
It's always nice to see something different like this on the channel.. 2 thumbs up..
Incredible build! Beautiful Caddy
What a beautiful Cruiser I love it and I'm not even a convertible guy but I really like that awesome I built one lowrider it was a 69 Cadillac Eldorado people thought I was nuts it turned out good it was fun but if it bottomed out it would take big chunks out of the road have a great day I'll keep watching keeps me inspired I'm too old to build cars anymore but I can enjoy this thanks
straight as an arrow and that color is fantastic. Essence of cool
Best caddy I've ever seen.
Simply stunning, good quality sound. Engine bay class act, you look 👌 good in that Shawn, kind a like a mobster checking the area out 😊Thanks again Shawn, you're a Kool dude. Later. Heads up for Moly
Thanks Frank! I’d love to have a ride like this one mobbing around town
Nice change of pace from the usual Tarmac Terrorizing monster builds. Beautiful build, nice subtle Kindig design elements. "I would buy this ride".
Gorgeous
Forgot to mention the owner of this vehicle competed against Steven Bradbury the winner of Australia's first winter Olympic gold medal
Sorry…cool detail
That’s one heck of a sled Shawn. Wish I could ride along and crank up some Ventures music 😎
Those freggin wheels dude. Shit they are cool!!
So sick! Even up close it’s hard to tell what’s going on
I would love to get my ls 68 c20 on here! I’ve been watching for years and just got the truck done!
DISRESPECTED THA PIMPIN! You gotta have the 🤠 on when you have the top down. I'm a muscle car guy but I also own a 69 deville and it pulls harder than my muscle car. Great job I'm glad you put the spotlight on this one. PIMPS UP!
Definitely should’ve had the cool hat going here
Raindrops hitting my guy all on the head.
I'm speechless..... Fabulous 🤩🤩🙌🙌🤘🤠🇺🇸🇺🇸
Amazing
Baller car for sure.
Yes you have a fabulous job.
I do love making these videos! Hopefully it turns into a full time job this year
Get the kindig-it design 1971 nova hardtop/B-pillar delete on here!!!!
That would be awesome!!
Very nice
Love the car i had a 1970 sedan d vill wend to vegas few times they are a dream to ride in .good job guys.
Nice!
Cool cadillac
That car was a Fusion and was on sale for $300k! Beautiful car...
And it sold for less than $300K which is insane!
what a beltline!
Totally sick love it hate to ask what's the value? Definitely a real bad ass setup. Ken and his guys rock out some amazing things.
Lindo vídeo
Some actual wood veneer in the interior like the Eldorado Convertible actually had in 1964 would have been nicer for the interior than how it was built. There was wood on the dash and center console for the bucket seat option.
That is a fine fine fine ride! The wheels are mind blowing. I've had an idea floating around with a similar year Caddy with a LS V12 and Turbofans mimicing the whitewalls... (if you use my idea, and don't include me you'll need the universes most powerful voodoo priest to dampen the curse)
Won’t use your idea…don’t need voodoo against me lol!
Sounds good to hear from you buddy hey let us know how your MRI goes. Were all pulling for you.
West Coast Customs built a corvette for Will-I-Am with whitewall wheels around 2010/2011 and in 2014 an episode of overhaulin used similar wheels on a 63 caddy
And my friend John did it recently on a 57 Chevy. They look so good!
Tuning in from Buffalo, New York.
🤯🤯
Bald looks natural on you, makes me wonder what you looked like with hair, you pull off the slick better then vin diesel 😆
Thanks bro…I’ve some funny old “hair band days” pics lol!!
They need to remake these cars
I remember watching the episode they built this car such a great car too bad its leaving the states
It’s staying here just moving to Tennessee
🏆
😍
I use to watch that show.....
Everything they build is top notch, I own a bagged 64 caddy on 22s you have to lower it for a better ride..
🔥🎉🤤🥳
I ❤ it…
But three minutes in and I don’t know the year and the model.
Just an FYI as I believe this information is pertinent and relevant to enjoying the video.
*Update: Checked the bio and found out it’s a 1964 Cadillac. The model is still unknown.
We mentioned year in the interview but not the model…I don’t know which model it is either
@@AutotopiaLA, Eldorado.
That dash needs to go , but other then that..beautiful.
Tastefully done considering the owner (Apolo Ohno) and his Olympic history
👍💯😍💯👍
❤, 😁👍🤟
God, that car is beautiful! I'd love to cruise that big mofo on a warm Saturday night through the city streets.
Jeff Bezos wishes he had a car this nice.
That thing is fucking sweeeeeeeeeet.
That is pure Car Pornography.
When seeing this on sale online. I wanted but.... no mula
I get it…shocking how low the price was for what it is
Bitchen Ride 😊
Why not a 472 / 500 inch Cadillac?
Caddy caddy cool caddy caddy cool by bony am band🎉🎉🎉😅
Why do they put man holes right in travel of right wheel
Here in wisconsin seems like I'm always dodging man hole covers
Was this car built for his mom Yoko ?
I'm sure fitting fatter tires would fix the ride. Those are way too low profile.
Agreed. They look great but not the best driving
Came here to double check the usage of the words "big block" and Cadillac. At least that's correct, because it's a Chevrolet engine.
You should clarify the title, people will start to think Cadillac made two engine block sizes. Only Chevrolet, Oldsmobile, and Buick did that.
Am I the only one that is annoyed by the design choice of the Olympic rings symbol at the end of the long thin chrome trim, instead of ice-skates?
I loved that touch and the gauges personally. Plus the amps with the airbrush work
The Olympic ring gauges were awesome, just that one detail for me I thought was a missed opportunity
Great build but the wrong kind of car to have low profile tires on.
Kicker subs are still the shit
Yes they are!
"Fucking A"
